    Pax loved to hike.

DASH brought my boy Pax to me 13 years ago. Very easy pickup. He was already vaccinated chipped and crate trained. Best dog I've ever had. I had to let him go yesterday but I am so thankful to DASH for bringing him into my life.

I have adopted 2 dogs from DASH Dog Rescue; both are everything the info said and thats very rare ive found for rescues. Last year my parents adopted a DASH Aussie and my sister just got her own house - we are def DASH FANS!

We adopted from Dash two years ago and wanted everyone to know that it was a great experience. Our Ranger is by far one of the best dogs we have had. He came in a puppy with the markings of a heeler, but as he grew we think part hound or bird dog. For anyone with a little experience in rescue or adoption there is no real way to know the full growth of a pup. I would not trade this dog for anything. If you are in the market for a companion please check out the adorable dogs at Dash. It takes a village to save these precious dogs.

We lost our beloved Aussie after 15 1/2 years and I was devastated and wanted another one but wanted to adopt since so many pups need good homes. I contacted DASH via Facebook messenger and told them exactly what we were looking for and offered to foster or adopt. They found us the PERFECT guy. We love Ranger like he's been with us forever. I'm very picky and had several stipulations and they listened to everything. The communication, pick-up, foster and then adoption all went very smooth. I have recommended them to several friends who are looking for a companion. I can't speak highly enough at how well they made sure our sweet boy was the right fit for us.

I greatly enjoyed this process and Sherri is a wonderful foster mom to the puppies! I saw Chip online and I had to see if he was still available! Sherri messaged me literally 20 minutes after I put in an application. She was very flexible with meeting times and I got to come see Chip and his brother the same day! We played with him and he was so cute and fluffy! He is a mix Border Collie. I greatly recommend Dash Dog Rescue.

You don't move to the City of Excellence to be average. Thank God I ain't average!…read more I moved into my new home in Plano two weeks ago and the water towers say it all. I'm right where I belong, in the City of Excellence ;) here's the thing... you aren't excellent if you aren't leaning in to help others. I'm passionate about a ton of things, giving back to others is one of the most important. I rescheduled my every 56 days blood donation to a nearby American Red Cross but being in my new town for two weeks seeing all that it gives, I knew it was time to research how I can make an immediate impact. North Texas Food Bank was a result of my research and I'm so excited about today's effort. After relocating I suppose it's quite fitting to select "Pack and Box" it's literally all I'd been doing the past few weeks, why stop now?!! I had the greatest first time volunteer experience. I signed up last night right before bed because and knew I was going to the gym at 6a with my neighbor so I selected the 1p (arrive by 1230p) time slot. Creating a new volunteer account was super straight forward. I was adding this event to my calendar within minutes. I was greeted by the sweetest ladies upon arrival, offered a locker key (wear a fanny pack if you don't have pockets and wish to bring your phone in) as you aren't wearing aprons. I left my phone in the locker. We did a brief orientation, hand washing and then volunteered for our assignments. I've put together a ton of boxes lately, so I opted for packing. I'm not certain I've ever handled so much boxed milk in my entire lifetime! I was first in the assembly line working hand in hand with Apple juice volunteer and let me just say, we did the damn thang!!! It was such a fun experience I never took a single break. My right arm will soon remind me of this fact. We packed 960 boxes, totaling 20 pallets, weighing 28,800 lbs, creating 24,000 meals! I'm a numbers nerd and love the data following your shift. It makes it that much more rewarding. Impact you can see and feel. There were several corporate groups, families and solo volunteers. Everyone was very kind. I'll definitely be volunteering here on a regular basis as my schedule provides. Thank you so much North Texas Food Bank! As a foodie, meals for those in need is a cause I hold near and dear to my heart. Highly recommend if you're looking to serve others. There are a variety of opportunities. I selected this one today but I may explore others in the near future. Hands down a superb way to spend 3 hours, and the warehouse is nice and cool on a warm day. Perfect place to volunteer in the summer (:

We experienced as many as five of their supervisors and the quality of our experience was the same--incredibly high. We've had two other supervisors across the years. I'll share more about the other two supervisors later in this review so you can appreciate Hannah House even more. Hard to find adequate supervisors for even the normal visitation. But this was a very complex situation with the ex-wife and her family and also with the emotional, physical, and mental issues the child was dealing with. Hannah House navigated all those due to their extensive experience, education, and ongoing professional development. Such as expertise in dealing with children with ADD. Their procedures were so very professional. Yet they were so personable with the child and all family members involved in the visitation. All five we experienced helped make each visitation a very enjoyable and special time for all. In addition, later in court, their credentials, vast experience, knowledge of family law, and professional procedures including copious and astute note taking of each visitation really paid off. They were perceived as extremely credible and presented the evidence that all was well and the need for supervision has been removed. To give you an idea of what you could experience if you don't use Hannah House. I'll share about the other two supervisors we suffered through. One, (not Hannah House) only lasted a day due to the behavior from the ex-wife's family. Another (not Hannah House) was seemingly okay until we found that every time after we left, he said the child was disrespectful, etc. and we felt the poor boy was ganged up on by supervisor. Also, we found out later in court that supervisor had also been telling a totally different story to the ex-wife. He was telling us that he didn't see the need for supervision and asked why was there supervision, etc. quite a few times. He even left us alone for 30 minutes to an hour to eat or shop. He felt completely comfortable with the father and son being together alone. And he told us he had cleared this with the ex-wife. But he was hiding it from them and also told the ex-wife and family just the opposite of what he was telling us. He said the son felt unsafe around the father, etc. He did this all to keep the visitation going and keep getting paid. In court, this all came out and he crumbled under cross-examination. All this to say, it can be a jungle out there. Make the right choice and use Hannah House! Finally, I have no idea why there is even one bad review. I think someone got mad at them and then had all their friends write bad reviews. Some bad reviews were even about the wrong business--a nail care business. Don't believe them. Use Hannah House!

My parents received fliers from Make a Wish asking for donations such as household items, toys, etc. Since they were incidentally in midst of moving, they went through things and neatly packaged 10+ large bags of toys and clothing, and household items. They called ahead to schedule a pickup and later also called to confirm and left messages. On the scheduled day (also written on the flyer), they set the items out on the curb during early morning waiting for pickup. Being senior folks themselves, they went through a lot of trouble and carried many bags of heavy items to the curb. Yet the donation pickup NEVER CAME. NO CALL NO SHOW NADA. At the end of the day, they had to go out and drag everything back themselves. With intentions to help and make a difference, they were left disappointed, angry and with an injured back. My point of contact was Patrick Sowers. One of the biggest red flags was being asked to send copies of my DD-214 containing sensitive personal identifiable information directly to a phone number. At no point was it clarified whether this was a secure work device or a personal cellphone. I was never offered a professional email address or secure document portal, which I found highly questionable given the nature of the documents involved. While I complied in an effort to move the process along, I was not comfortable doing so. In my experience, reputable organizations handling veterans' records typically have clear procedures and safeguards in place for transmitting sensitive information. Beyond the privacy concerns, the conversation itself was frustrating and unprofessional. Instead of feeling heard, I felt repeatedly invalidated, challenged, and put on the defensive regarding my own experiences and concerns. The interaction came across as passive-aggressive and unnecessarily contrarian. I also found it inappropriate that examples of other veterans' personal struggles were repeatedly brought into the conversation as comparisons. I contacted the organization for assistance with my own situation, not to hear about or be compared against the hardships of others. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. What should have been a supportive interaction instead felt judgmental and disrespectful. Trust and professionalism are critical when working with vulnerable veterans, and unfortunately I did not experience either here. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to exercise caution when sharing sensitive personal information and to ask questions about how documents are being stored and protected before sending anything. Patrick Sowers is a fucking moron.
