My husband, his sister and I stopped here for a root beer float while visiting Winslow. This is an old Winslow family owned business in a residential neighborhood. New owners might have taken over in 2022. Our root beer floats were refreshing. We saw inside on stools. They were doing a good takeout business. I think people were ordering hamburgers.

The restaurant is called The Root Beer Stand now and it was definitely a great stop for lunch after visiting the meteor crater. The taco tangle was delicious! My husband had a chili cheese coney which he said was also great! The staff was super nice and explained the menu items and the inside was super cute. You can sit inside at the counter near the window or outside. They also had hop service to your car. It's a definite must stop!

Based on the reviews, RelicRoad (why is there no space between those words?) is the best restaurant…read morein Winslow, by far. Personally, I love burgers and bar food and the burgers and bar food here is well above average. I also had one of their draft beers and it was nice. The curds appetizer was delicious and I don't know why it took America so long to discover curds. Canada has had them forever. The onion rings were excellent. The fries appeared to be hand-cut and were very good. I didn't love the Relic Chips. They were too deeply fried and didn't have a lot of flavor. The Southwest Burger with fried onions and BBQ sauce on Texas Toast was a solid choice, the Patty Melt on rye was very good, and the "make your own burger" was also very nice. There are plenty of TVs for sports viewing and the place is kid-friendly and has a kid's menu. Well worth a visit if you're taking it easy in Winslow.

I visited Winslow for my son's tournament back in January. I arrived just after 8pm and most of the…read morerestaurants were already closed. Fortunately RelicRoad Brewing was still open. After checking in to my hotel, I headed over and was able to easily find parking. The restaurant is laid back, inviting, and offers ample seating indoor and outdoor. It wasn't busy when I arrived. Most of the staff were tidying up, but stopped to greet me. I let the kind lady behind the bar know that I wanted to place a to-go order. She handed me a menu and asked if I wanted a drink while I waited. I opted for water and settled at the bar. We chatted for a bit and she offered insights about the tournament and even gave other food recommendations. (I tried her pizza rec and it was good!) I ordered the fish tacos and added avocado as well as a small side of fries. The food didn't take long and I ate them in my hotel room. The fish tacos were just okay. They looked stacked at first glance, but that's because they had way too much slaw and not enough fish. The fries were also okay, and were definitely better with the ranch and ketchup I was given. Perhaps I didn't order the right dishes, but I don't eat meat and their seafood and veggie options were limited. RelicRoad came highly recommended by locals, so maybe other items are better. I'd give the food three stars and the excellent service five stars, so four stars overall!

The restaurant itself was clean and had a stylish modern-meets-vintage vibe that made the atmosphere feel both cozy and upscale. Their cocktail menu was especially unique. I ordered the Vendetta Ride, and it was easily one of my favorite drinks of the night: light, slightly sweet, and finished with just the right kick. I absolutely loved it. The menu features creative contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on sharing plates, which made the experience even more fun. We ordered two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert, and overall everything was excellent. My only critique would be the Duck Taquitos. The duck flavor was not there, and the mesquite mole sauce leaned too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, every dish impressed us. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this spot if you're in Flagstaff!

I don't know if chef changes the menus often BUT we had the fattoush salad, the bread board, cabbage, fideo with the venison sausage, and the chicken thighs and for dessert, we had the parsley and the apricot gelato. Yes, it sounds strange, parsley gelato but holy moly, it is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. It is savory and sweet, so if you like really sweet desserts, it might not be your favorite but it is definitely unique and delicious. Everything was incredible. My only critique is that everything is a shareable and there's no way to serve each item, which is easily fixed with a serving spoon so, not really a critique. 11/10 food Service was great. Attentive without smothering me. Ambiance was good too. Not too crowded. Noise level was good. Go. You will not regret it.
