This was a disappointment & I would have been ok if one thing was a miss but this is just plain disappointing. Stay away from this one. Now, I am Indian & I know how the food should be with minimal efforts. If you want to try then I'd recommend just ordering 1 item to try & then be your own reviewer.

Conveniently located in West Sedona, they also do order ahead but even if you stop by it's never longer than a 10-15 min wait and it's WELL WORTH the wait. We ordered the chicken butter burrito and the daal and the flavors were just spot on. Super aromatic, balanced and delicious. We have been longing for these warming, Indian flavors and are so ecstatic we found this truck. Prices were extremely fair considering its Sedona and the portion sizes were also great. You can't go wrong with anything at this truck, and they're open late until midnight. I hope the success of this truck allows the team to build a brick and mortar because this place is truly a masterclass in Mediterranean and Indian flavors.

One of their employees that was off for the day just so happened to be there and he was the one that drove it to us. On top of that, even though we waited so long because of DoorDash, the food was AMAZING. It was my first time ordering here and as a Mexican, it is genuinely the most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. We got sopes de birria and empanadas de pollo, and there were no leftovers when we were done. The food was packaged with care, the quality of the food was better than homemade, and on top of that it was still warm and fresh. We cannot thank El Campesino enough for their service, quality, care, attention to detail, and just choosing to go above and beyond even if they were less than an hour away from closing. This is my first impression of them and I will for sure be getting food here again. Please support them!

There's a deep reddish brown salsa that is my personal favorite, followed by the bright green jalapeño salsa. The hominy soup was great. The broth was spicy and beefy with a good amount of hominy that adsorbed the broth and very tasty with a nice satisfying chewiness. Honestly, it's hard to drive past this trailer without stopping. It's literally on corner of Zalesky Road and 89a on outskirts of Cottonwood. I believe the cook is actually Oaxacan because there's a friendly order-taker guy by the window who notes your order and passes to the cook inside. Delicious, authentic, real food. Most people seem to prefer eating in their vehicles in the ample parking area. But they do offer outdoor cafeteria style tables under a tarpaulin cover with patio heaters if you avoid eating in your car.
