We stopped at Donald's Donuts, in Zainesville, Ohio at about 8:30 am and bought 8 variety donuts. We continued on to West Virginia and stayed until about 3:30 then headed back home. We stopped at Columbus casino and finally made it home at about 8:00 pm. Now the donuts have been sitting in the van (about 80 degrees) since 8:30am and tasted just as fresh as when we had bought them, and the next morning tasted real good. So, if you want some FANTASTIC donuts and don't mind the drive, Donald's Doughnuts in Zainesville is the place to go, service is great and the ambiance is nice! A friend went in for the first time about three weeks ago, and the manager was sitting at the front wrap-around counter taking photos and videos of him and his girlfriend. He asked her multiple times to stop once he noticed her phone following them everywhere. She ignored him, kept recording, so he ended up walking out furious. This spot is trash and should probably get shut down-or at least fire that manager, because she's the main problem. Her excuse was I'm the manager, I can do whatever I want. Classic power-trip type. Don't go unless you enjoy paying money just to leave angry. It's all middle-school drama in there-the manager just sits around scheming on customers and even recorded her own employee's family members when they came in to order food while the employee was working. Ridiculous. The friend stood up for the employees, but then his buddy's girlfriend and her sister got mad at him for speaking up, all because they didn't want any trouble at work.
