However the office staff were DREADFUL. They attacked me when I got in for not filling out paperwork ahead of time - that I had repeatedly called to let them know I hadn't gotten. They didn't give me the right instructions for how I needed to prepare for the visit. I came in for a physical and the doctor set up an appointment to go over my test results. There was an issue with my insurance and instead of calling my insurance or finding a solution I was yelled at by a billing person who couldn't give me information. I was told I couldn't get my test results without paying $180 for the first appointment and $89 for the phone appointment. She refused to resubmit my claim to insurance even when I had the EOB that said that's exactly what to do - and other providers have been able to do. The hassle of the incompetent office staff is not worth the sweet doctor - go elsewhere literally anywhere else is better.

I fell recently on a Sunday night and ended up in the ER @ local hospital and CT scan showed a lot of problems, but no fractures. Dr Heldridge personally answered his cell phone when I fell --he asked many questions and then said to go to the hospital and call him afterwards, no matter the time. It took 6 hours at the hospital and I left feeling worse than I had before entering the hospital. If there were more than 5 stars, that's what a great doctor he is and his assistant, Allison, keeps the wheels moving and has an innate ability of helping, when she can. But sends messages to a Dr. H if you need his vast knowledge and lifeline of caring for his patients over at least 40 years of expertise. I would recommend Abundant Family Care to anyone who has ever felt like a number and a debit card at their own Primary Care Physician's office. I have Medicare for my insurance AND a supplemental insurance with Philadelphia American! My deductible had been paid in full when I started getting billed! A phone conversation was had with a representative who was rude, would not listen to my wife as she tried to explain why we owed no money, then ignored requests to speak to a manager! Also, she would not give us her name! We are still getting billed for something we DO NOT owe!
