I've had 5 surgeries not including the manual flipping back over of my liver where it was stuck for 8 months and I couldn't even stand up straight. I can't hold my arms at my side and press and release with out falling over nearly passing out from debilitating pain. I haven't done my hair in 9 years I have a disabled sticker hanger over my mirror the farthest one away incase someone comes who is more disabled than I am.. my hips will only last another 10 years. So when people call for help in customer service, there is a reason why. I am appalled at the horrible customer service this chain on Wolf Rd in Albany NY. I have been a customer for years and they are always quick to get people in and out so they can get back to chatting and they always do the security check when u get there ''can I help u find anything I was in customer service worked for an international corporation a municipality prior to that. I even started out in retail at the mall.. but these ladies kind of gave me an attitude when I asked if someone could help me. I asked (in lieu of respect to a law suit they would have had if I got it myself because I have poor equilibrium and a tendency to fall.) The woman said to me oh there is a step over here (it was heavy and I wouldn't be able to move it). She's like well I'm not sure if I can get on it either. Shouldn't that be a part of the job description?so long story short I let the rude behavior slide down my back. But IMAGINE THIS. You come home your home and realize your engagement ring gone!I called after I was just there AN HOUR before they can't remember me after an hour and I was wearing a very distinct outfit with a posh hat and a sephora black and white bubble mask (I am a regular customer) and was wondering if maybe their brains could concentrate on anything than talking to one an other, as that is all they do when you are there.. feeling like the third wheel in their convo. Well maybe it's just the age difference but I was curious to see if they could help or remember me wearing a piece of jewlery, and believe me this you would notice! I WAS MAKING AN INQUIRY on how to find out if they remember me wearing or somewhere my ring came off in my glove and fell.. I was just looking for help in tracing some steps to find my engagement ring and the lady treated me like I was a piece of dirt and after she treated me like that.. Another more authoritive woman got on the phone and told me there is no cameras on the registers so they wouldn't be able to tell If I was wearing my ring or not and might as well as said to me ''your a piece of dirt''. I was at the Co-op the next day. A variety of their breads are located in a shelf display across the aisle from all the other breads. I saw sandwich rolls, French baguettes, plain sourdough, three seeds sourdough, whole wheat sourdough, plain challah, everything topped challah, and a couple of variations that I don't recall. Some of the loaves are also available in half-loaf sizes. I purchased a loaf of 3 Seed Sourdough ($8.69) and a loaf of Everything topped Challah ($7.29). Both are excellent in their own right. The 3 seeds on the sourdough are organic dry roasted pumpkin, organic dry roasted sunflower, and organic golden flax seeds. Anicca makes a point of stating that they make every attempt to obtain all their ingredients within 200 miles of the Troy bakery. The sourdough has a nice chewy crust and a decent sour flavor. The challah has a softer crust than the sourdough, just a bit of sweetness and a slightly lighter colored crumb. The challah is also double bagged for some reason. The loaf is placed in a plastic bag before it is placed in the outer paper bag. Maybe that was to protect the everything topping? If you visit their web page https://aniccabakery.com/ you will learn that you can order online and pickup your order at Alias Coffee Shop in Troy. You may also notice that their web page does not mention all the varieties of bread that I saw at the Co-op and shows a more limited production schedule. Maybe their web page is just not up to date. Another issue I ran into was knowing whether the bread was fresh. Glancing at the information on the label of my two choices, I saw that the sourdough was labeled as "Date Baked on10/29/25" (GREAT! That was today), while the challah was labeled as "Date Baked 10/30/25." WAIT!!! How can that be? 10/30/25 is not until TOMORROW!!! I checked several other packages and found that all the packages of challah were labeled with tomorrow's date. As an aside, does that mean I wouldn't be able to eat the challah until tomorrow? LOL Or better yet, if I eat it today does that mean the carbs don't exist yet? Still, LOL. In any event, a Co-op employee noticed my confusion and insisted on informing management while wondering if this meant the sourdough could have actually been sitting on the shelf since 10/28/25. Today or not, but probably tomorrow also, both breads were excellent. I'm looking forward to trying a whole wheat sourdough.

Recently, PHM relocated to a much larger space and has increased inventory tremendously. This is a true small business that has become successful within a couple of years through hard work, tenacity and solid business acumen. I have purchased several items from PHM for myself and as gifts for family. I tend to lean towards the essential oil blends and some of the CBD products - but there are tons of other items to choose from including clothing, books, yummy candies/snacks, protein/sports powders...even cool stuff for pets. My personal favorite essential oil blend is called "Calm Your Ass Down" (yes...I love the names of these products as well). This blend smells awesome and I use it with my pre-bedtime routine (it's a small roll-on that I dab behind my ears and on my wrists). I've also used it on especially stressful work days. This particular blend does not contain any CBD, but many other options do. I'm a big fan of CBD products in general - as long as they're high quality and the source is known. The owner of PHM is adamant about quality and purity in her products (as many of these she brews herself). Other CBD products are also available from PHM - I really like Luce Farms (a Vermont based company) and she carries several of Luce's items. Two of the other essential oil blends that Angel (that's the owner's name) sells/makes (that I've used) are: "Not Today" and "Joint Juice". Everything works as advertised and really helps with my pain relief/preventative care. I will mention - again - that PHM is truly a "boutique" that's jam packed all kinds of really interesting items.
