I remember Shirley as a kind, sweet and caring person, as was her family, and I always enjoyed stopping at their market, as I would venture up or back from my excursions on the McKenzie River. Perhaps one day I'll make a McKenzie River excursion once again and revisit my tradition of stopping at Mathers Market. Michael Fry

This is my local store & while it lacks the ultra max options of the ritzier Southside store Catering to upscale hippies (maybe you got less vegan cheese here for instance, or more limited bulk). In general staff is really helpful, & the store is well stocked. During Covid I have been really blown away by the level of assistance the staff is willing to go above and beyond to provide for customers. These people are standing at checkout counters all day in full protective gear and are still pleasant have a sense of humor & are incredibly patient. I have use the pick up service on several occasions and it has gone really pretty well they don't always have everything but that's how it goes right now. I have needed to have people come out to the car and meet me to load things, to take my coupons they have to go back in side to process them and come back out with the receipt -which they have done every time. This takes them at least an extra 10 minutes and they never give me shade. . Also I had a minor complaint about some items that they didn't carry enough of, made a comment in the app and actually received a personal reply. Not only that but I noticed a change in supply which means somebody actually heard me and did something. So I'm here to say thanks Fred Meyer staff, I appreciate you.

They even have some premade options ready to go. The staff were super sweet and friendly to talk to. The price was very reasonable and the drink was delicious! Because I happened to be in the grocery the other day and found myself gazing in at the new freezers. There was, of course, ice cream in there. Ice cream from several different companies. Fortunately, one was our local Lochmead. Well, they didn't have very many flavors - small space and all. I can go to Dairy-Mart if I want a larger variety, but there I was looking in... Looking in.... Looking in.... And there it was. Right there on the bottom of the carton. "An Honest Half Gallon." Thank you Lochmead. Other ice cream manufacturers have started making 1.5 quart "half gallon" cartons. That ain't right. You, Lochmead, are doing it right. Salted caramel and black licorice are both really awesome flavors. They all are. And it's from just the next county over. THANK YOU LOCHMEAD!
