There's typically only one register and most people take huge shopping carts full of groceries to the self checkout. If you expect us to use the self checkout without any mistakes or forgetting we didn't scan an item, then send your customers through cashier classes. We scan and bag our own groceries, why do we not get paid to scan, etc.
