We also understand that the selection will be limited because all vendors may not service the more rural areas. What we don't understand is that when you have a deli department that scoops potions of premade salads to be sold by weight, that the staff doesn't periodically stir up the salads. Refrigeration causes dehydration. That how things get cooled. This dehydration dries out the exterior of the food items and stirring keeps everything hydrated and appealing. We were going to try to pick up some grab and go items and salads but once we saw what was on offer, we left. If the staff doesn't care, why should we?

We didn't see any employees pumping gas while we were there. They have snack and beverage vending machines available as well. Overall, we got what we needed, gas! The pump we used had a crappy lever on it. It kept clicking off like the tank was full, but we only had about a quarter tank when we stopped in. We ended up putting $80 of gas in the tank, but had to hold the pump lever the entire fill-up. A bit annoying.

We needed some snacks to stock our beach house rental and this was a one stop shopping store. Their prices are a little high compared to the chain grocery stores, but that's not surprising. We don't mind paying a little more in quaint small towns. We prefer the peaceful, low traffic areas of the Oregon Coast. Employees are always friendly and helpful here. Their private parking lot has plenty of parking available. The store is clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend.
