I was traveling to a Wedding in Kiel, WI from Detroit MI with my retired police K9 Partner/MICKY…read more I needed a place to board MICKY for a couple days and also to give him the full "Doggie Spa" treatment. Needless to say as a veteran 18 year police K9 Handler, I am very picky and want only the best for my ol' partner, a 16 year old large Black Labrador/MICKY. I needed a place that is patient and kind to this old guy, who served me well searching for explosive odor at DTW Airport back in the day (2014-2018). Anyway, upon arrival I was greeted by hands-on Lucky Paws Owner/Stephine and she and her Team greeted Big MICKY with open arms. I could not have picked a better place for MICKY to stay at. Not only to stay at but be groomed at too. The bottom line, everyone I saw working at Lucky Paws had genuine kindness and a true sense of caring for not only MICKY but for every animal and owner that came into the store. I left there Friday morning knowing MICKY was in the best of hands. When I picked MICKY up Sunday morning, he was in great shape, spirits, and looked and smelled great. As far as cost, it's was money well worth spending for the outstanding services provided by Lucky Paws. This place is a no brainer, if you love your pet and you need boarding, grooming, and good piece of mind that your pet is in the best of care, Lucky Paws is the clear choice to house your pet. As a former Governor of California once said,"I'LL BE BACK!"...and I'll be back too .....to Lucky Paws in Two Rivers, WI when I come back for a Lions vs. Packers weekend.

They are professional and friendly. My dogs are super comfortable with them. I wouldn't take them…read moreanywhere else.

Our 10 pound pup came home sick again, except this time was throwing up chunks of food at least twice the size of her normal food that was sent along. No one there took responsibility and they refuse to refund the $300 we just spent on a package there. After spending more on visits to the vet than doggy daycare, I'd recommend staying away unless your dog is expendable.

The last reviewer had an issue with the grooming service here and, while I can't speak to that,…read moreI'll offer my insight on the day care and boarding - I've traveled extensively with my dog, Peabody, and used day cares across the country and without a doubt Central Bark Manitowoc is the best I've found for a couple of reasons: 1. The hours. I work long days and their standard day care day is 11.5 hours. This allows me to not have to worry too much about needing an odd pick up or drop off. But if I do need it there's always... 2. The cab. I initially thought I'd never use this, turns out it's incredible. If I have a weird work commitment, I know they'll pick him up or drop him off reliably for a nominal fee. 3. The staff. They are very friendly, capable and obviously care about the dogs in their care. I'm pretty sure Peabody would go home with them if he could. 4. The boarding. I travel A LOT for work and when I need someone to keep Peabody overnight in a pinch, they're ready for it. I know the vet is a little cheaper for kenneling, but for a little more I know he'll get the activity and socialization he needs for me to stay sane (day care/playtime is included in the 24 hour boarding fee). 5. The exhaustion. I love spending time with my dog, but I have long days where the last thing I want at the end of the day is my young, energetic dog getting in my face because he wants to go, go, go... Before I used Central Bark I pretty much just assumed Peabody was incapable of being tired. It's so nice to know that after a day there, Pea will curl up and PASS OUT. That's worth the price of admission. Like I said, I've used lots of other day cares, but I am fortunate that this one is near my home. I would enthusiastically recommend Central Bark to anyone.
