Their wedding cake tasting package yielded a fun and tasty date night and gave us confidence in our choice to rely on them. Our guests adored the lemon bars and brownies and loved the variety we had in our three tier cake: top tier was red velvet cake with vanilla cream cheese filling, middle tier was a champagne cake with strawberry buttercream filling, and our favorite, the bottom tier, was a banana cake with banana brown sugar filling. They were communicative and clear with pricing and I couldn't be happier with their timeliness and the love they put into their goods. My husband and I highly recommend Sugar Lab Bake Shop and dream of their desserts. We can't wait for our anniversary cake!

We cannot say enough wonderful things! Christine was incredibly communicative, helpful, sweet, and so easy to work with from day one. I had seen her desserts on Instagram and immediately fell in love with the dessert bar option and all the beautiful, tasty, and artistic treats she made. I typically am not the biggest cake person, but we decided to do a small cutting cake and boy are we glad we did - by far the best cake we've ever eaten. I gave her some general guidance on style of cake decor and it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. And every single dessert was incredible - there was so much hype from our guests during and after our wedding about the desserts. Christine was so helpful in recommending options, quantities, and cake flavors based on our preferences. We didn't try a thing before our wedding day but felt so confident in her and she did not disappoint!! Would 10/10 (AND THEN SOME!) recommend Christine for ANY dessert needs. And when it comes to wedding planning, do yourself a favor and make this such a easy, stress-free, and tassssssty/beautiful decision! Pics by: @wearemattandjess

I went in expecting to enjoy a birthday celebration, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and stressed. First off, I was disappointed to find out they couldn't offer me my birthday buns, which is a tradition (past 8 years) I was looking forward to. When I mentioned it, another guest in the store even offered to buy me one that was beside the point. While I appreciated her kindness, it felt awkward, and I didn't want to create any turmoil or drama over a 7$ bundtlet. I also expressed that my intention was to buy two more. To make matters worse, the customer in front of me was facing the same issue. It's someone's birthday--how hard can it be to acknowledge that and provide a little extra something? It should be a joyful occasion, not the most stressful part of my day. Overall, I expected much better, especially when celebrating something special. I won't be returning anytime soon.
