We had an incredible dinner here tonight! Super authentic food and amazing service! Alberto was very kind, personable and gave great recommendations! We will definitely be back!

Great food , amazing service. Love the ambiance, the wait staff was very nice and helpful. Was our first stop in Rome. Excellent location

Meatballs - tender, juicy and great sauce!

By far the best meal we've had in our two-week Italy stay. So good that we've eaten here multiples times during our vacation (which is why we have so many pictures of the different dishes we've tried here). If you're looking to change up the pace of eating pizza, charcuterie, paninis and pastas during your vacation, this is the place! Make a reservation!

The Tonnareli al seppio di calamari (squid ink pasta) was heavenly. The spaghetti carbonara a bit more rich than other ones.

This place is highly recommended for certain dishes. The tonnaleri al nero di seppia con calamari is amazing, which consists of perfectly al dente squid ink pasta with cherry tomatoes and chopped calamari and a green mild (mystery) sauce. The carbonara is good too though a bit richer. We had a sauteed chicory as a side, which was similar to sauteed spinach, and very good. As a secondi, we had the meatballs with tomato sauce, also delicious and highly recommended. The service was prompt and attentive, though there is one older server who is quick to tell folks there are no tables available particularly to foreign tourists so they go away.

Zucchini Parmesan soufflé- rich and healthy

This was the best dinner we have had in Rome!! Unique location away from over crowded tourist area. The menu isn't your typical Italian menu, its definitely on the healthier side while still being savory and full flavored. I will go out of my way to see if I can buy 3 orders of the savory pumpkin pie when we circle back to Rome on our way back I will be getting more

Black Pasta with Squid and roasted tomatoes, spinach salad with bacon; white fish (Sea Bream) breaded; Carbonara with prosciutto.

An absolute GEM in Trastevere. Simply put, this was the best meal I had while vacationing in Italy. Everything was exceptional. We came here upon recommendation from our Tour Guide (If you plan on visiting Europe and need a fantastic tour guide, message me and i'll set you up and give you details.) and she was spot on about this place. The service was exceptional and she wisely suggested that we pick similar starters due to the large size of our party. Their kitchen wouldn't be able to handle 15 different starter dishes and she was gracious enough to inform us of the situation so we would not be sitting their all night. The food was so delicious. The pasta was fantastic. The onion soup was delicious. But the star of the night had to be the beef with pistachio gorgonzola sauce. OH EM GEE this was to die for. The richness and flavor is unique and unlike anything i have ever tasted before. Word of advice, definitely get a pasta or some bread to balance the rich flavor. I highly recommend that if you are in the Trastevere area, that you stop in for a meal. You will not regret your decision, I promise.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place on our last night in Italy. We shared the bruschetta starter and I had the oxtails as a main course. That was one of the best meals we've had on this trip! Try the oxtails!

Cozy restaurant ideal for dinner for two.

I decided to eat at this nice restaurant after checking out al the others around , which have as only advantage an outdoor seating but look like the usual tourist trap. I was lucky as I entered the restaurant as it opened, so they had a free table as locals dine later at night, therefore I suggest you reserve otherwise it's not likely you get one. One of the waiters, which were friendly and attentive throughout dinner, got me seated. As starters I chose salmon in orange sauce with rocket salad. It was a fresh and delicious and the orange sauce was a good counterpoint to the salmon. The I had the steamed seabream with zucchini, olives and cherry tomatoes. The dish smelled heavenly when they brought it. It was a pleasure to eat every bite. I ended the dinner with biscuits served with Passito wine as the lemon cake was not available. But it was nevertheless a great ending as the biscuits tasted great and even better after dipping them into the Passito wine. With a big glass of wine, all in all I ended paying 40€, but it was worth it.

We visited this restaurant after we renewed our vows at the Coliseum. Our local friends made the reservation and our expectation was without a doubt, spectacular! Thank you too the local friends and restaurant staff for the most amazing time.

Found this place wondering around - the staff and small restaurant are warm and inviting. The food is delicious - rustic, traditional, and just so good. I loved the sea bream and savory pumpkin pie.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

I had possibly the most amazing chick food pasta a girl could imagine. Girls know what girl food is. The pasta in Italy is just better -obviously. But then put all sorts of girl flavors on it like Lemon and Orange, just lightly enough, zest with a small hint of cheese-..... omgosh. Yes, yes, and yes. Need my hubs to replicate at home. He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. This is the place. There are possibly 4 tables inside. It's small. I read about them being rude- we did not have that problem. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.

So happy we did as this place definitely delivers. There is seriously like 8 tables in the dining room so expect a wait in line but trust me, it's worth it. We waited outside for about 25 minutes. They do take your order while in line so the wait for food (once you do get a table) is abbreviated. Out of the world pastas and the pistachio tiramisu is seriously out of this world. Inexpensive table wine rounds out a great meal. This is the type of place I love to go to. It's quaint, zero pretense and delivers on its food. A great find!

Our kind waiter bright over water, bread and breadsticks. No olive oil, no butter just dry. For our lunch I decided on the cacio e Pepe and Lisa opted for the ragú. Both were delicious. It's a licorice like liqueur enjoyed as a digestif. Definitely an acquired taste that reminded me of Aguardiente.
