So hearing that they were able to bring him out of his shell and get past his shyness was nice to hear. They even played some fetch with him while I was on my way to pick him up! I was able to meet and talk for a bit with the owner. Really nice guy and the groomer was very sweet and upbeat!

She is one of the friendliest, sweetest dogs you could ever meet and has been to other groomers without ever having a bad experience. She usually enjoys going. This time was completely different. When I came back and asked how she was doing, I was told, "I don't know, I didn't touch her." That immediately concerned me. I could not even see my dog at first, and when I asked again, I was told she had been isolated because she was barking. When I finally saw her, she was in a small cage, shaking and clearly terrified. This is not normal behavior for her. As a dog owner, you know your dog, and something was clearly wrong. I calmly expressed that I did not appreciate how she was being handled and that something did not feel right. Later, instead of addressing my concerns, I received a message from the owner accusing me of being rude and telling me not to come back. I was not rude. I was concerned about my dog. I have taken her to multiple groomers, and she has never reacted like this. That alone tells me everything I need to know. I will never bring my dog back here and would not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet's well being.

My dog has extreme anxiety and he always came back happy and clean and idk what they do over there but my dog loves them so much and gets excited when i take him. Thankfully, Jessica has been absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Ember. From the very beginning, Jessica has been communicative, friendly, and incredibly patient. It's obvious she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and takes the time to make them feel comfortable throughout the grooming process. One thing I really appreciated was that she didn't just groom Ember and send us on our way. She shared helpful training tips to get our puppy more comfortable with nail trimming, the sound and sensation of nail tools, and having things around her face. Those little pieces of advice have been so valuable for helping Ember build confidence between appointments. And can we talk about the finishing touches? After getting the full treatment (bath, grooming, ear cleaning, nail trim, the works), Jessica always adds an adorable flower or bow. It's such a sweet detail that makes picking Ember up even more exciting. We attempted to groom Ember ourselves once, and let's just say it gave us a whole new appreciation for professional groomers. Nail trimming alone was enough to convince us that some things are best left to the experts! We're incredibly grateful to have found Jessica. Ember looks amazing, smells fantastic, and gets so much love and attention during her appointments. If you're looking for a groomer who treats your dog like family while delivering great results, Jessica is someone you can trust.

Full cut and if bath was too much trouble don't worry about it. Dropped off my dog at 12:30 and picked her up at 4:30. 4 hours. Expecting my dog to have a clean and nicely trimmed hair cut I was in for a surprise. All that was done in 4 hours was nail trim and a slight trim around her eyes. Not face, just her eyes. Out of all the haircuts and groomers my dogs been too this is by far the worst experience. I got charged $55 for nail trim and slight hair cut around the eyes. Unreal. AVOID! Also, one of the groomers grabbed a beautiful cat but the back of the neck and put her on the table and said " I freaking hate this cat" Do NOT RECOMMEND!

The experience with Shaggy Dogs from start to finish was wonderful. They do book up quickly so call at least a month before you plan to have your dog groomed to get an appointment. But the wait is worth it. The place is clean, Ximena and her team do a great job, and our mini Bernedoodle always comes home looking fresh, smelling great and thoroughly clean. Prices are very reasonable, and our medium-sized dog (34 lbs) takes about 3 hours.

After four years of bringing my beloved fur baby to Shaggy Dogs I unfortunately have to change my…read morereview of them to one star. This change is due to the very recent pain they caused my dog and the Owner's unprofessional, ghetto, mean, and uncaring texts. The Owner became unhinged and paranoid. On 9/14/26, I picked up my dog from the Owner who checked me out. The Owner didn't mention anything about my dog or my dog's nails. My dog started licking her front, left paw when we got home. I didn't think anything was wrong. On the morning of 9/17/26, I put a cone around my dog's neck to stop her from licking her paw then examined her paw and saw a blood clot on her front, left dew claw nail. I immediately scheduled a Vet appt for that afternoon. The Vet said the dew claw nail was cracked and infected. They gave her antibiotics and pain medicine and said to leave the cone on and come back for a re-check on 9/30/26. On 9/18/26, I texted Shaggy Dogs' Owner to let her know what occurred. I also texted her pics of my dog's infected dew claw nail. The Owner responded how she forgot to tell you about my dog's dew claw nail being cracked when I dropped her off with her. She also said she was out of town for the wkend and I could swing by on 9/21/26 to look at a video she took of my dog's cracked dew claw nail when I dropped her off. I asked her what time worked for her and she didn't respond. On 9/24/26, my dog's infected dew claw nail worsened. I took her back to the Vet. The Vet said they will need to sedate her so they can cut back her dew claw nail then bandage it. They prescribed a stronger antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicine for pain, and Gabapentin to take the edge off. They said I will need to remove the bandage in 24 hours and leave the cone on her. They made a follow up appt for 9/29/26. On 9/24/26 & 9/25/26, the Shaggy Dogs Owner and I texted back and forth. She told me to read the contract, things happen, she isn't responsible for my dog's injury, and I should have brought my dog to her first instead of making a decision to bring her directly to the Vet first. The Owner also said my dog's nails were long and she will not be paying any Vet bills. I told her that her texts sounded mean and I never asked her to pay anything. She then started texting me in Spanish. I asked her to please email me the video she said she had or I can come by to see it. She said, "I am not showing you the video. You will try to use it against me. Have your lawyer contact my lawyer. This conversation is over." Beware! If you continue bringing your fur baby(ies) to Shaggy Dogs, please: 1) Check your dog's body and nails when dropping them off there. 2) Check your dog's body and nails when picking them up from there. 3) The Owner has another side to her that is unprofessional, ghetto, mean, and uncaring. She can easily become unhinged and paranoid.

My five month old Havanese puppy needed her first complete haircut and I was on a search for that excellent groomer. I discovered Ruff Life Mobile Pet Spaw from seeing their truck and trailer around my community. Like myself, if you feel uncomfortable or do not have the time to drop off your dog at the groomer's and come back a few hours later, then I highly recommend you try Ruff Life. Valerie who is the owner/groomer of Ruff Life ensured my dog had a great grooming experience and a haircut exactly how I described! Just look at the before and after pictures, my dog had a smile all day long after her grooming! This is proof that my dog had a positive experience with Ruff Life! Communication was spectacular! Valerie kept me constantly updated through mobile phone text with scheduling, estimated time of arrival, etc. She arrived earlier than scheduled. I like the idea of the one-on-one personal attention to my dog's grooming! There are no other dogs or people to distract the grooming process. I also liked the benefits of the fast time savings with excellent work! From the time Valerie arrived to when she left it took her, to groom my small dog, one hour! I have scheduled Ruff Life Mobile Pet Spaw to come once a month for my dog! The search is over for my dog's groomer!

I filed a complaint with the company explaining that after several verbal consultations with my veterinarian I brought my golden doodle in to be examined multiple times, after his grooming appointment. His wounds were not healing, the cut became infected, and the Doctor had to treat the infection and place a cone on him along with bandages. I contacted the company, explained what transpired, provided pictures as proof (which were time stamped with the day of the grooming appointment) along with my veterinary bills (totaling $260) and receipts. I requested a refund for the grooming services and my veterinary bills.
