When I came back she was in "the Back" with many other dogs and was breathing heavily. A/C was OFF. The place was very warm and quite frankly too many dogs and hot. I put my dog in my car started to drive when she started foaming at the mouth and could not breath. I raced her to Middlesex Animal Hospital in Billerica. They brought her in as a medical emergency and saved her life. They placed her on a cooling bed with bolus "I/V's- she was diagnosed with heat exhaustion. Her temp was dangerously high and thank god I got there when I did. She had to stay in the hospital for monitoring. I called "you dirty dog" and the owner actually did not want to give me my money back. I threatened to take her to court and showed my paperwork from the Vet. This place is not what it use to be. I will never return every again. Not safe and its a dump. All set!

I go once every 4-6 weeks to get his nails trimmed with the dremel ($10 about 5 minutes), and I just started going for bath time since I make a mess when I do it at home! The best part is that the bath took about 35 minutes with a blow dry. My old groomer had my dog from 10-2 and my dog would air dry in a kennel.

Both of these stores were great. Unfortunately, Textile is no longer but Northeast is still around. It's just relocated to Pelham, New Hampshire, not very far from where it was in Lowell. The owner of Northeast now is the son of the guy who owned it when it was in Lowell. He's extremely knowledgeable and doesn't get bothered with you ask a lot of questions. He's always happy to help. And the fish are great. So much healthier than the fish at the big chain stores. You go in there and the fish are so lively and colorful and healthy. And the prices are great, too.
