Moreover, I feel very comfortable with Rachel and Socazo. She always greets everyone with a friendly and warm smile. Many other hair salons I've been to were snotty and judgmental. They were also biased and did not provide me with the same care and quality of service they gave to other clientele (that had nicer bags and clothes than I did). Rachel gives solid advice on certain styles that may not work for me. She's always up-to-date on popular trends and will advise and find a way to give me what I want without allowing me to regret a mistake. Most importantly, Rachel cares about your hair and her highest priority is not to damage it during harsh processes like thermal straightening, bleaching, and coloring. I've had all these done and my hair always looks healthy and shiny. I always walk out of Socazo looking and feeling like a million bucks!

Just want to take a second to give a shout out to Jeff WHO SAVED MY LIFE! Love how my new hair…read morecolor turns out! I've been a big fan of trying out different hair color. However, I always do it on my own or ask my friend to do it for me to just SAVE SOME MONEY. But guess what, do not expect to get any good results from non-professional "hairstylist". I've been bleaching my hair to light caramel color-ish. (Can't really give it a name cuz it's a mixture of different color, and it wasn't even) And dye it black. It was a back and forward process until I get to a point that I am really sick of my ugly hair. And because of the bleaching process, it really damaged my hair. So I decided to go to a Salon and get a fix. It took more time that I thought it would be since I've been doing it all wrong. And they also kindly advice me that the result would not be 100% granted since I've bleached on my own before. And I didn't really expect such a good result!!! And TBH, I've been to another salon before, I kinda know how the whole process is. And Jeff also tells me that I also need to put some effort if I want my color to last longer. And let's just face the fact that NOBODY WOULD HAVE THE SAME COLOR after a few washes. Like who wants the chemical to stick on their hair for the rest of their life?? I would definitely come in and get a fix after a few months. I didn't get a chance to get a hair cut, so it's a bit messy. But I am fine with the after all result. Another suggestion is that if you want to keep your hair look PRETTY AS HELL, please learn how to style it. Nobody wakes up with perfect hair. This is the lesson that I learned after I dye my hair. I gotta fix it regularly. Yes, I know this is a lot of work. But if you want to go out and look cute with your brand new hair, just put some effort to maintain it. I always fix my hair color in 3-4 months after I get a new color. And also the root is another thing you should consider. I mean nobody does their skin care routine one time and expect to look cute all year around right?? LOL. Just want to give out a suggestion that If you decide to bleach or dye your hair, it's not a one-time thing. You gotta take care of it all the time. I know how it felt when your hair is fk up, but just do what you suppose to do, it would look great. I use flat iron every morning before I go out, it took no longer than 10 mins to get my hair ready. And use hair products if needed when it gets dry since I already know my hair is damged. No one would NOT damage from bleaching or hair dying. JUST TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR, YOU WOULD BE FINE. Definitely gonna come back for a hair cut. A lovely place that I would suggest to those who's looking for quality services. And Jeff been talking to me all the time, I don't feel like dying when I realized that I gotta sit there for more than 5 hrs. Thank you so much for saving my hair!!!

Everyone is very friendly and treat us like they see us weekly. This trip we were all having blow outs. Laurie did my daughter's hair and asked her what she wanted. My 7 year old was very excited to be involved in the decision making process. Laurie asked if she wanted cute curls or flips. My daughter asked for curls. You could see the excitement as each curl was done. At the end, my daughter's hair looked amazing for our event. My hair was a challenge. Due to some medication, my hair (which was already fine) is rather thin. Laurie worked on making my hair look fuller and I received a lot of compliments. She suggested some ways to make it look a bit fuller for my next hair cut. The salon is very welcoming. They have a cute little table to sit at as you wait for color to be done or just for your appointment. They had fresh bagels (oh how I was excited since good bagels in Florida are non existent!). I noticed the reviews talked about gossiping...ummm hello this is a hair salon! That's what they all do! Have you not seen Steel Magnolia? The only salon I have ever been to that isn't "gossipy" are chains like hair cuttery. Salon V will continue to be my go to salon home away from home.

Upon walking in I was given a checklist to ensure that I was COVID free, and ensure that I'd contact my stylist if in the event that I develop any symptoms. Michell took my temperature, ensured I disinfected my sandals and gave me hand sanitizer before walking further into the salon. It was a tad tedious, but I'm very glad they took these necessary precautions. I was glad to see that there was one other person in the salon so it seems as though they stagger their clients. I did a twist out, and felt so taken care of. Michell is very knowledgable and was able to advise me on how to best take care of my hair. I have not been to a hair salon in a very long time, but my experience with Michell has me ready to come back next month. It was such a great experience!
