This is probably my favorite spot to stop during a ski day on the mountain. There are typically a variety of food options (Mexican, Asian-inspired, and off the grill), but it was pretty early season so the grill was all that was open. Prices were typical for ski resorts: plan to spend ~$20 per person for a full meal. I had a cup of chili that cost $13, but overall was decent and they added some hatch chiles and green onions per my request. I haven't tried the bar and bistro upstairs, but it seemed to be a quieter vibe than the main level. There are plenty of bathrooms downstairs. The views are stunning: you get a full view of engineer pretty much all the way around. Service was fast and friendly. Bonus: it's right off of chair 5, so easy to get to if you're skiing the backside of Purg. Definitely my favorite spot on the mountain and attracts less crowds than Powder House and Purgy's, so you're more likely to find a table! read more
