I am totally able to understand that in these times that perhaps nice fruit may not be available, however I think that this location of Edible Arrangements would be ashamed to send something like this out. I believe that a message acknowledging the poor quality would be more appropriate and would have shown pride. This was not the case. And the response I received was insulting. "I am sorry to hear you are unhappy but this is the quantity that corporate office directs and we will use the pictures your sent for staff training." It ended on a nice note when our lovely neighbours dropped off a care package of fruit from Sobey's. Banana's that weren't disgusting, nice raspberries and strawberries, lovely apples and oranges, melon and blueberries. $17.

I was so excited to find out that if you call in an order by 5pm, you will receive it that same day. Since they are open until 7, Edible Arrangements is a great gift idea that works with my schedule! Well yesterday was the day where my Sister In Law gave birth to my newest little niece so I called Edible Arrangements in the early afternoon to order an arrangement for pick up just after 5. I got there and it was ready and waiting for me in the cooler. Additionally, because I had signed up to be a part of their club while on the phone, I saved $5 on the arrangement. It was just a great experience from start to finish with the great staff encounters I had, both in person and on the phone. I appreciated the hours they are open and the opportunity to order on the day of. And I think it's a great gift idea - I figured there would be lots of flowers gifted to my sister in law and that they would appreciate something they could snack on, while she recovers in the hospital and then at home.

But they do have BEAUTIFUL flowers so if you're looking to impress, it's worth the extra cash. I've come here to get rose petals before. They didn't used to charge me for them but I'm pretty sure that the last time I went in, they did. My advice is if you just need some decent flowers, go to Safeway or Save-on but if you want to really impress, Bunches is the way to go.

Southgate isn't the kind of place I recommend visiting in December, but then again I don't…read morerecommend visiting any mall in December (not if you can help it). That being said if I'm gonna go to a traditional indoor shopping mall then Southgate is my top pick. It's mostly a convenience factor (I like Kingsway too, but I live closer to the south side). The mall is older, I think 25 or 30 years old, but they've don't a lot of renovations in the past 5 years so everything looks new and bright. Southgate has a nice amount of stores, not too many, and I can usually find what I'm looking for when I come here. There are some higher end stores like Michael Kors, and the Apple Store (well high end depending on what you by) to your run-of-the-mill Canadian mall standards like The Bay and Sears. There are also a few stores here that are great to go to because for me it means avoiding a trip to WEM or going downtown (I love downtown, but I don't love driving/parking downtown). So yes it's great I can buy my makeup at Sephora here instead of going to WEM or going to Evoolution (delicious artisan olive oils and vinegars) instead of having to go downtown or to St. Albert. One of my favourite things about Southgate is the food court. It's open, and can be a bit loud, but it's got a decent fast food selection from Koryo (Korean) to Opa (Greek). I also love how environmentally friendly Southgate is...they've got bins for recycling, trash, and they even have drains so you can pour out your beverage down the drain instead of dumping it in the trash. There's even a separate spot to put the utensils. The other high point of Southgate, as strange as it might seem are the washrooms by the food court (well the ladies at least, can't speak for the men's). Why? Because the washroom stalls are huge (seriously you could probably get 4 people in there), they have a heavy wooden door, and when the door is locked it goes from a green vacant to a red occupied. I wish all public bathrooms did that, instead of playing the knock-to-check-and-see-if-someone-is-in-the-bathroom-stall game. The bathroom stalls also have a a big purse ledge for you put your purse/bags on. And when you go to use the sinks after you're done there is a automatic paper towel dispenser in front of every sink. No waiting in line to dry your hands. Score. Regarding parking it can get busy here, but I usually find the parking lot is pretty decent, particularly if you go to the upper level there's usually always spots there (maybe not right before Christmas). Southgate is also on the LRT line (right after Century Park) so it's convenient if you take transit. Just know Southgate isn't park and ride, so if you park here and take the lrt you could get a ticket (yeah they check that). One thing that is a little weird about Southgate is the layout. It's a mall that was just designed a bit weird, but it's not a big mall and easy to figure out. It can get busy, but it doesn't have the insane crowds that WEM does. Southgate is definitely my go to mall in Edmonton.

It really has a wide range of suits to choose from, even if you're young or old. I think the best thing about this store is that they frequently have good sales on everything in the store. Every time I've been here they've had a different sale, good ones at that.

The highlight though was the side cucumber salad. The cucumbers were lightly pickled and delicious. My partner ordered the quiche. She said that it was good but not very filling for the price. In my first review I only gave them 3 stars because the coffee was not hot. I drink it black so people who add milk and or sugar would definitely notice the temperature. This time the temperature was at the low side of normal so it went down quickly. Here's the thing. The server noticed my cup was empty and asked it I would like a second cup. She said it's free with meals (drip coffee). I was impressed because only a few places offer that important second cup. Surprisingly the second cup of coffee was served at just the right temperature. I really appreciated the easy listening music that was not turned way up like so many places do these days. The ambiant sound was pleasant and it was easy to have a conversation. This is a very relaxing place to hang out. I can now give four stars and can easily recommend Awn.

It was just the sandwich alone and it did not come with any sides. I went home and added my own sides. I ordered mine to go and it came in a tiny container. The sandwich was pretty good. It had a hearty/organic taste to it. Unfortunately because I ordered it to go, the egg yolk ran in the box making the sandwich soggy and messy. If I had known that I would've just ordered something else or came back when I had more time to sit in the cafe to enjoy it. Although enjoyable, the sandwich was a little small for the price and with no sides it's not something I'm itching to order again. I'd probably stop by for a drink though. The girls working the counter were very nice. There were a few tables and a bar by the window where you could sit.

The best thing I saw here was a little metal compact (2 mirrors inside) with a picture on the cover. It was a super cute couple and I absolutely loved it! These guys can put your pictures onto almost anything so it's a great place to go if you're looking to get a gift for someone. And usually, something like this is pretty unique so it's sure to be a big hit! I think you can get this sort of stuff done for cheaper at Walmart but if you're looking for a more professional store, this is a good one. The woman who I talked to was really friendly and helpful so the staff gets a thumbs up in my books!

While I am no garden or houseplant expert, everybody who works at the store appears to be one. And the staff was particularly friendly and helpful with helping me pick out the most appropriate soil and containers for our plants. When it comes time for us to start our garden this year, I'll be back.
