When I walked in the door there was one customer seated and no other customers in the store. Nobody acknowledged me, an employee was sitting behind the counter and did not even look up from her cell phone, the other employee saw me but did not acknowledge me, he went out the door after another customer, another employee came from the shop and at least made conversation, when the employee that went out the door after the other customer came back in, the other employee sitting there staring at the cell phone finally asked what I needed. Bullshit customer service! I cant think of one reason to come back to this business. Especially when there is a TJ Tires right next door.

I called Palmer's for help because my husband was out of town and unable to come and help as I was stranded in Duchesne, UT. (2 hrs away from SLC) The owner, Redge, was so helpful troubleshooting with me over the phone. I was still about 30 min away from his location, so he didn't move straight away to "let me tow you" method . INSTEAD, he gave me some advice to see if I could eliminate any kind of auxiliary help. When I Did the research and advice, I was able to start our truck up (go me! And YouTube!) and drive the truck their way. He asked his mechanic to stay late (on a Saturday in a small town) to double check our diagnostics. Needless to say, I made it back to my home in SLC after a successful trip out of town. They even gave me a ride back to my motel until the job was done. Called my cell phone and picked my niece and I up so we could retrieve my vehicle. It was also a holiday and they stayed after their opening hours for me. With that said, they knew I was distressed about money and were able to recycle parts. My car was ready within 3 days, we shook hands, we shared stories and they were incredibly personable. I hope people keep in mind how rare it is to have a family owned business and to still be graceful in stressful situations. Lastly, it is in the middle of nature and limited resources, it is hard to get things in a timely fashion. Honestly, I was excited to get cold water in this town.
