If you're in Ponte Vedra Beach stop in and see Dan, awesome fresh off the boats every morning. Picked up fresh gulf coast Steinhatchee, FL grouper and Mayport Jumbo Shrimp.

Great place for local fresh seafood. Crusty old salts run the place but isn't that what you want for your local fish monger? Very fresh fish. Not flashy but awesome.

Place smells way too fishy for my taste when you walk in, and stays on your clothes when you get home. Just not a fan.

It was fun to see the fresh caught fish in a display case on the way to order. At the end of our visit I chatted with one of the staff and she was super friendly to this out of towner. I personally had one of the specials - Cobia grilled with teriyaki glaze and mango salsa and fried okra instead of fries. The fish was cooked perfectly, not dried out, the flavor combination was well balanced. The okra was plentiful and, while I prefer cornmeal batter (Cracker Barrel style), this batter was seasoned just right and cooked to a nice golden color. I noticed that even though everything has a fried option, the restaurant didn't smell greasy or fishy. My husband had a fried chicken sandwich that he enjoyed and my nephew had a cheeseburger that looked delicious too. No one walked away hungry or disappointed today. Only thing I missed was trying dessert, but we headed out just before it got busy with the dinner crowd. I would definitely eat here again and recommend to friends!

The restaurant is situated so magnificently right on the water that it almost feels as though you are floating directly on the river. Upon arriving, one is greeted by a rather striking shark specimen suspended right at the entrance which gave us quite a playful laugh at first glance Stepping inside, the interior is wonderfully clean, vibrant, and well-appointed, featuring lovely artwork and charming private dining nooks. Though it was briskly busy for Sunday service, the ambiance remained thoroughly pleasant and impeccably maintained. We were seated toward the back of the establishment, offering an utterly magnificent, unobstructed view of the river. To begin, I selected a crisp Corona Extra with a fresh slice of lemon, while my assistant opted for a fine beer. For our luncheon, we ordered a platter of raw oysters, which were extraordinarily fresh, perfectly chilled, and thoroughly divine for a late-afternoon meal. To top off a splendid day, we indulged in a warm cinnamon roll for dessert a delightfully decadent sweet finish. Watching the breathtaking sunset cast its glow over the water made for a truly magical afternoon. Impeccable views, fresh cuisine, and a wonderful atmosphere I shall most certainly be returning!

Service was spotty last night and we constantly ran out of drinks and had to flag down someone for refills. Parking is atrocious and has only gotten worse over the years. You are pretty much forced to valet due to the extremely small lot. Don't let the parking keep you away, the food is 5 star despite a weak showing by staff last night. We've given 5 star reviews in the past as well.

Coming from the Pacific Northwest, we have pretty high standards - and this place delivered. We came toward the end of the night, and while it was still busy, there was plenty of seating available. The atmosphere is no-frills and laid-back - like a classic seafood shack you'd find at a coastal fish market. Nothing fancy, just fresh seafood done right. The raw oysters were fresh and an absolute must order. Since we visited during the winter, I also warmed up with a bowl of clam chowder, which really hit the spot. We also tried the boiled oysters, served hot and charred, and they ended up being everyone's favorite. We all eat oysters and seafood pretty regularly, and even we were surprised by how flavorful they were. If you stop by, don't just order the raw oysters - get the boiled ones too so you can experience both. You really can't go wrong here.

I tried to start with the Smoked Fish Dip but they unfortunately were out of that so I pivoted to a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. It was served with two stone cold hushpupies which added nothing. If you can't serve them hot you are better to not to serve them at all. The soup was also a miss for me. I could decern very little clam flavor amongst the potatoes. Just a miss for me. The special of the day was a Shrimp special. I ordered it fried which was probably a mistake in retrospect. While they were nice shrimp the batter was again not spiced at all, none. It was just a miss for my palate. Maybe it was just me ordering the wrong things as the ratings here are so high but I feel like the Yelpers led me astray here. :(

The third-floor rooftop lounge was one of my favorite parts of the experience. It's first come, first served, so reservations aren't available, but there's plenty of seating with comfortable couches, high-top tables, fire pits, and a full bar. The views from the rooftop are even more spectacular. We started with the cornbread and the cheese board as appetizers. For our entrées, my husband ordered the Agave Braised Short Rib and absolutely loved it, while I had the Scallops & Grits. The food wasn't my personal favorite overall, but everyone has different tastes. For dessert, we shared the seasonal bread pudding--it was very sweet, generously portioned, and easily big enough to share. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Even though the food was a mixed experience for me, the beautiful setting, rooftop lounge, and excellent service make this a great spot to visit, especially for the views.

I initially thought they added what felt like popping boba into the soup which made for an interesting texture. It turns out it was actually smoked trout caviar which is something I never had before. The drink was alright, but not worth spending $11 on a non alcoholic drink. I hope to experience the rooftop bar experience next time.
