ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY from this company. It makes sense after reading the experience the poor lady…read morehad after a tech killed her cat. This company ripped out my fence with no permission to access a shut off for a neighbor. The fence still has not been fixed and they just left it in pieces on the side of my yard. I was away at work getting ring alerts of people walking up and down my driveway and pulling apart my fence. To top it all off my pregnant wife came home to the water turned off. The company was closed and I had to have a neighbor come and turn my water main on while I was still at work. I've used this company twice and both times felt they overcharged for the material they used and the work was sloppy. Do your research plenty of other companies in the valley who do great work.

Our heater which is brand new, warranty until 2028, stopped working shortly after we purchased our home. Got a diagnosis from Bishop Heating and Air, but they had a long wait time for getting the part installed, so we went with Dean's. I relayed all info - already had a diagnosis, using our warranty which is good until 28', gas valve needs replacement, don't need Dean's to send someone to diagnose, we just need the part ordered and installed. They sent someone to diagnose, which I repeated again, that we did not need. After they got the part, tech comes and installs the gas valve and says "they don't usually change the shape of the part unless there was something wrong with it from the manufacturer" to which I respond, "well I'm happy it's covered by the warranty". Long story shorter.. They tried to charge us for the diagnostic appointment (which literally never happened, no one showed up, it was a phone call of me telling them we only needed an appointment to install the part). And they charged us for the $300 gas valve which I had repeated to two of their employees was warranty work. I explained the situation and had to argue my position. They took the service charge off for the appointment that never happened (which was written on the bill as if he had shown up), but insisted that I never told them about it being warranty work. I asked to speak with the owner multiple times, and asked that they have him call me. Never heard from him. We feel scammed. We recommend paying attention when businesses have an unusually high rate of bad reviews. We will not use Dean's again and we send anyone we know elsewhere.

After a heavy rain, I noticed water running down the door frame in my backroom. I looked up at the…read moreceiling and it looked wet. I poked my finger up there and it went right through. I had a roof installer come over and he could not detect any issues. I then called The Zone. They came out in a few hours. The technician was very nice. He quickly found the problem. The base upon where the HVAC sits showed a crack running vertical top to bottom. His solution: Replace the base which would require lifting the unit and disturbing the composite shingles, possibly breaking some in the process and definitely the good seal they currently have to the base. The price: $1,100.00 I suggested to the tech that I might just fill over the crack with some silicone. He countenance I saw involuntarily drop at my suggestion of this. He replied: that I might not be able to reach the crack where it terminates at the top of the base. On to my own efforts, I blobbed some silicone over the site. Upon closer inspection, the crack wasn't a crack at all but was actually a seam. I discovered some old hardened sealer that had obviously failed over time. The repair was put to the test today after a heavy rain. I looked up into the now large cutout hole in the ceiling covered by plastic and everything is dry. It appears I have saved on paying out for an expensive unnecessary repair for the cost of 25 cents worth of silicone. I won't be going with company anymore for future problems with my HVAC. I feel like this is a bit of obvious up-servicing to gouge a customer for the sake of making money. Very Disappointed. Most folks wouldn't have cared or felt comfortable climbing on top of a roof to see for themselves. The majority would have simply resigned to accept the tech's opinion and then had to figure out a way of how to come up with $1,100.00 for an unnecessary repair job.

This is the most incompetent company ever. Their technician came out and took the repair order…read moreback to the owner who went on vacation and never gave the info to the home warranty insurance. Of course I don't find this out until a week later when I call to get an update. I was told that it would be five business days for the part to come in. After waiting another week and not hearing anything I call back and get told that they ordered the wrong part and that it would be another five business days for the correct part. I've been dealing with this place for over a month and when the part finally does come in they tell me the soonest appointment they have is 4 days out. Are you kidding me!? After all the failures on their part we still get put at the end of the line! Avoid this company at all cost.

Thankfully I got a second opinion with West Coast and they fixed my AC for under $1k during the heat of the summer. Then they just did a full AC/furnace replacement on my current house, which is an older house and had a terribly old AC/furnace. They did such an incredible job. The whole process was awesome. They double checked everything prior to getting me a quote so there were no surprises, they went over everything prior to and let me know anywhere where there might be extra charges, they were awesome during the install walking me through everything, super neat while they did all their work, very quick considering the amount of work they did. And the quality of everything they touched is amazing, they really care about their workmanship. I'm just so please with everything they did outside around the AC and in the furnace closet. It's just 1000x better than what it was.
