I had a roof installer come over and he could not detect any issues. I then called The Zone. They came out in a few hours. The technician was very nice. He quickly found the problem. The base upon where the HVAC sits showed a crack running vertical top to bottom. His solution: Replace the base which would require lifting the unit and disturbing the composite shingles, possibly breaking some in the process and definitely the good seal they currently have to the base. The price: $1,100.00 I suggested to the tech that I might just fill over the crack with some silicone. He countenance I saw involuntarily drop at my suggestion of this. He replied: that I might not be able to reach the crack where it terminates at the top of the base. On to my own efforts, I blobbed some silicone over the site. Upon closer inspection, the crack wasn't a crack at all but was actually a seam. I discovered some old hardened sealer that had obviously failed over time. The repair was put to the test today after a heavy rain. I looked up into the now large cutout hole in the ceiling covered by plastic and everything is dry. It appears I have saved on paying out for an expensive unnecessary repair for the cost of 25 cents worth of silicone. I won't be going with company anymore for future problems with my HVAC. I feel like this is a bit of obvious up-servicing to gouge a customer for the sake of making money. Very Disappointed. Most folks wouldn't have cared or felt comfortable climbing on top of a roof to see for themselves. The majority would have simply resigned to accept the tech's opinion and then had to figure out a way of how to come up with $1,100.00 for an unnecessary repair job.

Of course I don't find this out until a week later when I call to get an update. I was told that it would be five business days for the part to come in. After waiting another week and not hearing anything I call back and get told that they ordered the wrong part and that it would be another five business days for the correct part. I've been dealing with this place for over a month and when the part finally does come in they tell me the soonest appointment they have is 4 days out. Are you kidding me!? After all the failures on their part we still get put at the end of the line! Avoid this company at all cost.

First time was to my own house where the furnace/fan unit wasn't running but outside condenser unit was. Issac had arrived with someone whom he was training so he walked them through the diagnosis process and repairs of replacing the control board. Second time was at my friends house on a weekend afternoon, where she noticed her temp was gradually going up. When i looked at it, noticed outside condenser unit wasn't running. Again, they arrived earlier than timed window. Coincidentally, it was Issac AGAIN (but alone) and had replaced the capacitor. He quickly checked the voltages of everything to make sure everything was running optimally AND checked the health of the other unit as well. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place after 3 AMAZING experiences with them. Always super nice and fast to respond.

Called them on a Sunday mid-day and was able to get the same day (that evening) appointment for someone to take a look at it. The fact that I can count on them for same-day service is really important to me and the fix was like 15 minutes, and the technician was also really nice. Overall positive experience, again, and the upstairs AC has been working great.

After the evaluation, they provided us with a quote and let us break payment in two. They responded and came to fix the unit right away. The blower motor blew out and gave us a warranty. Thankfully I got a second opinion with West Coast and they fixed my AC for under $1k during the heat of the summer. Then they just did a full AC/furnace replacement on my current house, which is an older house and had a terribly old AC/furnace. They did such an incredible job. The whole process was awesome. They double checked everything prior to getting me a quote so there were no surprises, they went over everything prior to and let me know anywhere where there might be extra charges, they were awesome during the install walking me through everything, super neat while they did all their work, very quick considering the amount of work they did. And the quality of everything they touched is amazing, they really care about their workmanship. I'm just so please with everything they did outside around the AC and in the furnace closet. It's just 1000x better than what it was.
