A great value for the money. I've been to different racing schools, and some have faster cars, longer and more in-depth programs, or other things that make them stand out. But for the bucks this is a darn good choice. Definitely do the two day school - if you don't you'll miss out on Big Willow, which is a lot of fun. The Streets of Willow is a shorter, tighter course and is a good starter (first day) but you'll then want to step up to the longer and more open Big Willow course. read more

I wish to take the time and thank you all at Fast Lane Racing School. I should of heaped praise on you guys sooner. I had a great experience doing the "Advanced Lapping" Day on the Streets of Willow track. I say "Advanced Lapping" day, because I have been through the other courses offered at Fast Lane and obviously keep returning. I have been to other Racing Schools this year and I have to say 3 things that really make your school stand out as being a superior school. 1) Track Time: What a great amount of time spent on the track. I can't tell you how pleased I was with your track time management. We as customers want to drive and learn from hands on experience, so we need to be on the track and not tied up in a classroom for hours. 2) Instructors: Your instructors were pleasant and offered up detailed instruction in order to improve as a driver and decrease lap times with accurate feedback. 3) Follow up: Most schools never follow up after finishing the program. I love the fact you take pictures and post them. I love the fact that you send a follow up email thanking us for our participation. These are so important. Thanks again :) read more

5 stars doesn't even get close to the experience I had with Danny and his team. I did the 2 day SCCA accredited course in my own car (BMW M4) with a private instructor, which I would definitely recommend. I spent 2 day with Bill Follmer in my car, and I can't say enough good things about him. All of the instructors are focused on teaching you to be the best driver you can be, focusing on how to go as fast as you can within your limits and teaching you how to be as safe a driver as possible. The whole team at Fast Lane are guys who love cars and love racing, I spent hours talking to them about both, and their insight and experience gives you so much confidence to trust them and allow you to be pushed beyond what you thought you could do. When Bill was telling me when to brake, where to turn in, when to put all of the power down, I had complete confidence that I would be going as fast as I was capable of in a very safe manner. The only thing I would warn people about this is that as soon as you have spent time with these guys you will be completely hooked on racing, I finished the course last weekend and I am now spending a lot of my time looking for a racecar! This is solely a review on Eddie who works with Fast Lane. This is not a reflection of the business or the Danny. Eddie was extremely unprofessional! I use Eddie to rent helmets for our track days since he is listed as the helmet rental person for Willow Springs Track day. He has been ignoring me for a full week. I sent him multiple texts and called multiple times. It got to a point when he started forwarding my calls. I was forced to go out and buy 7 helmets the night before my event. He finally responded with "If you would have returned my phone calls and texts the last time we did business this would not have happened. I was just returning the favor" Well, I was on a damn plane to Australia and never received anything from him. But ofcourse he would have know that if he was not a child. If he would have simply answered and explained that he wasn't happy with me not responding then I would have cleared it up. Thank you for being the oldest child I have ever met. I'm sorry that this has to go under Danny's yelp review, but since he is working for you and was forwarding my calls to the business as well, then this is where it needs to go. Worth every dime! I had the opportunity to attend the High Performance Driving School this past Saturday. The instructors did a phenomenal job in making sure every tactic we performed, we understood. I definitely recommend this class if you are looking to learn and familiarize yourself with driving fast but most importantly staying safe. Some highlights were: managing your vehicle during a skid, how to approach taking a corner on the track, and probably a more fun moment was learning how to drive in reverse and whip around doing a 180 degree turn! I did their 1 day high performance school on July 23rd, 2014. I've been to numerous racing schools. This one gave me the most track time by far, and that is the most important element to fun, practice, and learning. You had the choice to drive race prepped supercharged Toyota Scion's with manual transmissions, race prepped Camry with automatic, or your own car. The teachers are very knowledgeable, helpful, and approachable. By the end of the day, I was driving significantly better than the beginning. Highly recommended. read more

BEST PERFORMANCE CLASS EVER! Spent more than 120 minutes on track! (for a comparison, you spend 80 - 100 minutes on track during any given track day). Danny is extremely knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and funny! :) I especially enjoyed "the donuts" lessons! Spinning car in reverse in something I never done/dared to do before! :)) And on a WET PATCH TOO! Streets of Willow track itself is a pure delight. Short, tight and technical. We did the shorter variation of it, without the 'bowl' (which I wish would be included), but it was still VERY VERY great! I did the class in my own car as I wanted to improve my driving skills in my own car, but I am positive that using the class provided cars is also great option (you don't need to change tires, break pads and oil afterwards ;) read more

Great defensive driving school! Paul and his team of instructors did a super job of handling such a big class (I'm sure the end of summer 100.00 off had something to do to with that!) my daughter, a new driver, really got a chance to see what her truck would do under all kinds of situations. They were encouraging, without making her feel afraid. They even let mom try out a few of the maneuvers! This is a priceless experience for new drivers, and it was worth every penny. Without a doubt one of the best experiences I have ever done. I did the EVOC course and the instructors were very helpful, informative, and gave good honest feedback. Classroom time was minimal, check in was easy, and we went straight to the track pretty much. I didn't purchase private instruction but they would still jump in the car with me to see what I was doing and give feedback. I recommend it to anyone heading to an academy and wants to get a feel for this type of driving, I think it definitely helped calm my nerves. It's expensive, but it was worth it and it was fun and I got a lot out of it. I would say I recommend renting a car though because I noticed the tires after were torn up a bit.
