I requested a high skin fade, and I don't trust just anyone with this service as I am very particular about how it looks. This was done fast and professionally, and even included straight, razor, shave at the shortest length. I used to come to this place because back then they had a good service. You left from there happy and with a nice and clean haircut style. Nowadays, the last three times I've been here everything has gone wrong. My first bad experience was when a novice guy literally almost cut my neck, and I didn't complain since it seems he was new, so I was like; okay, breath!!! He is learning. Now, I went back last weekend and I got the same sloppy service but from a different barber, what's wrong with them? Why they start cutting hair without previous experience or at least without being careful. It's skin, not leather or wood. They keep cutting your hair until the point you bleed and next day you have scratches all over like if you fight with a cat. Never going back again. I can't handle it anymore. I went around 11am and I made an appointment for 5 0'clock pm and as I sat down waiting for the barber to finish, he then got another client and sat him down and started cutting his hair. I got up and spoke to the receptionist and told her I had an appointment at 5pm and she said "yeah you got here late". I got there at 5pm and waited patiently for 20 mins to be next, to be skipped. They need a new receptionist and honestly worst service by far. This was gonna be my first time and honestly I'd say my last. Fully staffed, reasonably priced, in and out in a short time. The barbers make sure you get the hair cut you want. This barber shop also takes appointments but will charge extra for them. This is a cash only place. Neares cross street is Atlantic Ave and South Street. Literally just walked out this place 2 minutes ago. My husband has walked out before for the long waiting period.We drive here from Compton because the guys cut good hair(75%of the guys). The others are too slow or too busy chit chatting on their cell phones or texting. My son, husband and I waited for almost 1 hour.....its ridiculous how one as a customer walks in, waits their turn but then the freaking guy that walked in 2 minutes ago gets the chair.....WTF is that!!!!!!!! Oh cause he had an "appointment", yeah right give me a freaking break. I wasn't born yesterday!!!!! This has gotten worse and worse with the years. I think "appointments" should not be an option here especially on Sundays. It should be first come first serve. This incident disappointed me so much today that I had to yelp it.....my husband is not a new customer, he's been giving them business since their days in Paramount. Found this place a few months back and had a decent haircut, so I thought I would try again. The guy who cut my hair last time was not in yet, and there was a line. However, the guy they stuck me with had no one waiting: should have been a clue, but I needed the haircut. I asked for a little over 1/2 cut off, as I had waited too long, but still wanted to be able to comb it. The guy started hacking most (over 90%) of the sides of my hair off, and proceeded to cut it his way. Now for fairness, this may be the only way he knows how to cut hair, but I was thoroughly disappointed. Thankfully hair grows back. This shop was convenient, but I will return to my other barber although he is 20 minutes away. At least he listens. read more

NEVER coming back. Was in Long Beach and needed for my son to get a haircut at the time . There's a guy at the front who takes your name down who was very friendly , he told us the wait would be 20 minutes to go ahead and wait outside as they had no more seats inside . Was waiting outside a bench in front of the Mexican restaurant next to them for 35 minutes . Whatever, I wasn't even mad about the wait I understand it's Sunday everyone is coming in, no big deal . The reason I do not recommend this place is because of the horrible job the barber did. I didn't even catch his name but his chair is second from the backdoor. All I asked was for was a fade and the damn line to part my sons hair . Never has anyone screwed his hair up this bad . Had a good experience here with a Barber named Heraclio. That is the Capital city of the island I am from Crete. The guy explained to me that he was named after a Mexican "Robin Hood" type figure. A long wait time. They do indeed have magazines and this is the right place to be in you want that crisp look. Tapers, Brooks, Fades, and Shape Ups served all day. It is only $11 for a cut and while I was waiting I saw A LOT of fresh cuts walk out the door satisfied. Well run, well priced, and master craftsmen at work. Looking for someplace new and cheaper to get my kids hair cut at other then supercuts. Spent some time looking up places and calling them with little success. Called Danny's and call was picked up immediately. Guy was friendly and polite over the phone. Walked in and they had 7 (maybe 8) barber chairs, and each one was full. Guy said 15min wait but they called us to the chair in 5. Had 2 different barbers doing my boys hair and both were professional, fast, careful and left my boys with clean cuts. Very impressed with this barber shop. My 11 year old was happy with his cut and the fact that he didn't itch after the shaving. This will be our new place to get the boys hair cuts. 10 bucks for children...sign said 9-10 for adults. There is parking in the back, which i didn't know and ended up parking 2 blocks away. The barbers here know what they are doing. And they charge a fair price of $13. Sometimes you'll have to wait half an hour but sometimes you'll get lucky and won't have to wait. Unfortunately they charge extra to make an appointment. I'd reccomend coming here for a cut. read more

Great local shop, they speak both English and Spanish, a good razor fade with a straight razor and a clean fade with no strays is $12. Other shops charge $30 if you want a straight razor fade. So you know, that leaves plenty of change left over for tip. For real though, I'm like Al Bundy the way I keep coming back to the same barber here... Worth it. read more

I usually love going here but it's been twice with the older gentleman with the beard that's cut my sons hair and twice that he's done it he does a really poor job. I do however like the other guys cutting my sons hair it's that gentleman in particular that can never get it done right, also why does it cost me $20 w/out tip for a little boy's haircut? This shop was well run and staffed with many barbers. We barely had to wait and my toddler son's haircut came out amazing! I swear the guy had to be baby whisperer. My son barely moved and I could hear him talking in a low voice. Not sure what was said but it worked!
