For anyone looking to truly improve the style, functionality, and value of their home, absolutely place Dannick Design at the top of your list. Nick and Danny were able to work a miracle in our home. Our kitchen and bathrooms suffered from their small size further compounded by inefficient layouts. While we could not afford to increase the size of the rooms, Dannick developed a design that completely transformed each room. They asked questions regarding our needs for each room as well as our likes and dislikes in styling. It was immediately obvious that they knew their business. Ideas immediately began to flow that left us speechless. In our kitchen, they nearly doubled our storage space, created useable open space, and increased the countertop area to a truly useful size. Its look rivals that of a kitchen from a high-end custom home. Our master and guest baths, originally being merely useable, became truly functional art with increased storage and access. The spa-like atmosphere greatly exceeded our original expectations. When signing our contract two months before work was to begin, Dannick committed to a start date as well as a completion date that spanned nine weeks. All of our other bidders told us that many companies would commit to a span of nine or ten weeks, but that we should really expect twelve to fourteen weeks. Dannick began and completed work on the exact dates planned. When we arrive home from work each day, we could see significant progress. Friends and family members that had similar remodeling (not by Dannick) suffered from start delays, extensive schedule and cost overruns, rework, lack of daily cleanup, and work crews that were repeatedly "missing in action". Our neighbors all told us that the crew arrived early and stayed all day, which was unlike any contractor that they had ever seen. Their cleanup at the end of the day was superb - we never saw tools or debris inside the house. Dust, the nemesis of any homeowner during a remodel, was minimal. We have indoor pets (that we isolated to a part of the house that was not being remodeled), so cleanup at the end of the day was especially important to us for their safety. As noted in other reviews of Dannick Design, they are not necessarily the lowest bid. However, after seeing friends and family pay the costs of rework, delays, and the need to constantly manage their project during their remodels, I believe that Dannick is very cost competitive merely because of the avoidance of those cost complications. In addition to being talented and totally committed to quality, Nick, Danny, Shannon, and their team are truly nice people that go the extra mile to assure the satisfaction of their customers. Dannick Design did an AMAZING job on our kitchen and den remodel and they greatly exceeded our expectations in every possible way! We spend the majority of our time in these two adjoining rooms and they have been completely transformed! They gutted both rooms in just one day and completed their masterful job on time in just six short weeks. They installed custom cherry wood cabinetry, granite counter tops, a custom travertine tile back splash, cherry wood flooring, lighting, new appliances, and they designed a custom cherry & granite island that looks like a beautiful piece of furniture. In the den, they installed matching hardwood flooring, new lighting, a custom cherry fireplace mantel and a custom cherry entertainment center that matches the cabinetry in the kitchen. They painted both rooms (walls and moulding) and did other side jobs upon request along the way. Nick and Danny are experts in their field and they are a true pleasure to work with. They made themselves available at all times throughout the process and they paid close attention to every detail. After getting multiple quotes for my total kitchen redo, I went with this company for some basic reasons: They were the most thorough, their work is unparalleled and they are honest and stand behind their work. Two years after my kitchen was completed, they STILL come over anytime we ask them to look at something. Believe me, we haven't had any problems with our kitchen--and this was a complete, from-the-walls redo. Custom cabinets, etc. These guys really value the job they do for their customers. They do not use subcontractors (we've had other experiences with contractors who use subs, and we'd be pushed behind schedule waiting for subs to show up). All of Dannick's people work for Dannick. They did a fantastic job and all our friends and family constantly remark about how beautiful our kitchen is. It's form and function and gives us so much more usable space. We can't say enough good things about Dannick. If we had another kitchen, we'd have them redesign it for us, too! Next on our list is for them to redo our bathrooms. I did not even hesitate to give this company the best rating possible. My husband and I had been wanting to do our kitchen for years, but after having a terrible experience with contractors during our master bathroom remodel we kept hesitating and putting off the job. That was until we met Nick who came over to the house, discussed the remodel and instilled us with such an air of confidence that we went ahead. Dannick Design did an awesome job remodeling our Master Bathroom. We had many regular contractors come to our home and none of them gave us the customer service that Nick and Danny did. We were planning on gutting the entire bathroom and starting from scratch and I had no idea what to choose and how to coordinate tile, wood, fixtures, etc. This is where Dannick Design was a lifesaver. They assisted in every step of choosing everything and designing the Master Bath I wanted. They were always on time, helpful, courteous and most important of all, took great lengths to keep my home as clean as possible (which I greatly appreciated!!). We hired Dannick Design initially for a bathroom remodel. The work done was amazing! The team who performed the tasks were friendly, VERY clean (which was unexpected and most appreciated), and most importantly good at what they do! The project finished way ahead of schedule and we took advantage of the time and the skill of the company. By the end of the remodel experience we were still WAY ahead of schedule, and we not only had a gorgeous master bath and closet, but recessed lighting in several rooms, a surround sound system in our television area, and crown molding installed throughout the house. My husband and I just completed our first project with Dannick Designs. It was a great experience from the initial phone call to the final clean up. Dannick Design stayed within our budget and completed the project when promised. I can't say enough about Nick, the owner and Felicia, the office manager. They were professional, friendly and easy to work with. The work crew were true craftsman and easy to understand. Our project was small, but it didn't matter because it was "our project."
