I thank the Lord that I found Dr. Park for my mom. My prayer was answered…read more Dr. Park is a great surgeon who is attentive to patients. He provides patients with trust and excellent skills. My mom was in severe back pain, unable to sit or walk. She had surgery at UCI Irvine last week, and now she can start walking again. It's AMAZING! It was a great experience. The staff is great, the environment is friendly, and it's super clean, and the doctor's attitude towards patient is excellent. "I thank you for his thoughtfulness." He is a true five-star doctor. I also highly recommend Doctor Kim for anyone suffering from back pain. Thank you.

I've been to DISC Sports and Spine multiple times over several years with consistently great…read moreexperiences. Dr. Todd Peters (now retired) and his assistant Kaylee were excellent for low back consultations, X-rays, and PT prescriptions--always available and thorough. Dr. Melikian, a spine specialist, saw me for neck/shoulder pain. Despite bringing neck X-rays/MRIs, he quickly identified shoulders as the primary issue (limited rotation vs. decent neck mobility) and referred me to Dr. Shore. He never rushed me, always ensured I had no more questions, and his assistant Joanna was phenomenal--one of the best I've encountered. She performed quick but detailed tests (grip strength, rotation, tender points) and genuinely cared, helping shift focus to my shoulder effectively. Dr. Vivek Babaria (pain management) treated chronic neck tightness and cervical radiculopathy. In 2023, he did facet joint injections; in 2025, an epidural steroid injection (C5-C7 herniations) that finally helped with issues where neck pain was keeping me from sleeping. His newer assistant Hank in late 2025 was equally impressive, starting with conservative treatment when I brought an MRI showing mild shoulder tendinosis/bursitis, prescribing PT and baclofen, then noting clear posture/pain improvement at month follow-up. They did not overtreat and go straight to another injection which was nice. From imaging reviews to injections and conservative care, everyone at DISC stands out for attentiveness and expertise. Highly recommend Dr. Melikian, Dr. Babaria, and likely anyone else for neck, back, shoulder, nerve, etc pain issues.

I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Brett Shore after discovering issues with my hips, and from my very first appointment, I felt comfortable and well cared for -- a feeling that continued throughout my entire journey. I'm currently 16 days post-op from a left total hip replacement, and while I'll need my right hip replaced in the near future, I feel reassured knowing I'll be returning to this incredible team. Dr. Shore and his staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. A special thank you to his surgery coordinator Mellany, who was not only kind but also responsive, thorough, and extremely helpful throughout the process. I can't overstate how warm and compassionate everyone has been -- from the office staff to the OR nurses and the pre- and post-op nurses at the outpatient center, conveniently located next door. I'd also like to give special recognition to Dr. Barrows, the anesthesiologist, who is hands down one of the most personable and down-to-earth providers I've ever met (and this was surgery number twelve within my lifetime). To be honest, I'm not sure how anyone could leave a review of less than five stars. My experience across multiple visits and appointments has consistently been outstanding. I've felt safe, informed, and genuinely cared for every step of the way -- and that means everything, especially when have to face another procedure in the near future. Thank you, Dr. Shore, for your honesty, for giving me options, and for making me feel empowered rather than pressured within the decisions I had to make when approaching my surgical options. Thank you, Dr. Barrows, for your sense of humor and calming presence. And thank you to the entire team for your kindness, professionalism, and truly exceptional care. I'm not exactly excited to have my other hip replaced -- but since I have to go through it again, I'm grateful to be doing it with this group!
