Given the current economy and used car market, it's been so hard to find a dealer that we have felt is honest and loyal willing to offer inventory at reasonable values who are not looking to take advantage of customers. My wife and I reached out to Carl Black with hopes of receiving an honest opinion. We initially talked to Dixie and outlined our request on a limited budget. She was so friendly and let us know that they had options that would suit our needs. She was very responsive and attentive. Once we described what we were looking for, she put us in touch with Nate Rodriquez. Nate was absolutely the most professional person we have ever met and was attentive to all of our questions and requests. After listening to all of our needs, he recommended we test drive a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado High Country. This was exactly what we were looking for. It was within our budget and an absolute perfect ride. Hands down, this was one of the best decision we have ever made. My wife usually feels uncomfortable at dealerships, but they explained everything and there were no hidden fees. Nate was a complete Rockstar. I will be back for any purchase we make going forward. I would recommend Dixie, Nate, and Jacob Howerton to any of our friend and family looking to make a purchase. I appreciate the opportunity to be a customer of Carl Black and will be back time and time again. Honest and loyal!

The Finance Manager openly told my wife and me that he was "out to make money" and refused to honor our pre-approved financing unless we agreed to give him extra on top of the loan. When we pointed out how rude and unprofessional this was, he escalated the situation by refusing to sell us a car altogether and asked us to leave the property. This behavior is predatory and disrespectful. A dealership should value customers and honor legitimate financing, not attempt to strong-arm buyers into unnecessary upsells. Instead of helping us, Hardy Family Ford made it clear that profit mattered more than integrity or customer service. If you're considering buying here, be aware: they may not respect your financing and could treat you poorly if you don't agree to their upsell tactics. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a dealership that values honesty and professionalism.

So when clearing my stuff out I noticed that the cd I listened to while driving there was gone. I mentioned to salesperson and they just adamantly insisted there wasn't one there. I got the lease trade in and before leaving I asked where is the owners manual, Salesperson said this model doesn't have them in them anymore. Months later looking through this glove box found the owners manual on a top shelf in the glove box that is hard to see. So, 2 lies so far. Maybe 6 months later I took the vehicle to Hardy ford for the oil change and tire rotation special. Everything seems fine, driving home I get a flat tire. I look at tire that's flat and notice that it s a wheel that has a scrap from hitting a curb and I always k ow where it's positioned on the car and notice it's in the same place as it was before tire Rotation. No hands prints on any of the wheels that would be there if handled. I went to change tire and noticed the lug wrench did not fit some of the lugs. I was close to home and they were run flats, so drove it home. Got a socket that fit and they would just spin like they were stripped. Called Hardy ford, they insisted they had rotated the tires, THEY DID NOT. They also said bring it back and we'll change all your lugs for $100. Told them they are smoking crack. Took it to Discount Tire in Hiram. Took them an hour and a half to get the lugs off, balanced and rotated my tires for free and charged me $50 for the lugs AND informed me there is a class action law suit against Ford for using 2 piece lug nuts that over time of being impacted separate and swell. Ford new this and instead of telling me there is an issue and take care of it , they chose to LIE saying they rotated my tires, charged me and sent me on my way. What if I would of been driving on a trip out of state. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. And I had purchased 3 vehicles there in the past.

I bought a brand new Suburban Premiere edition eight months ago from Day's Chevrolet…read more In October, I started to notice a smell in the cabin that got progressively worse - a smell like "dirt" which we all know is a sign of mildew/mold. I took it in to Day's and they determined that the drain tube for the area around the sun roof had gotten pinched and instead of draining down the tube, water was running inside the roof, down the pillar, behind the dash and underneath the carpet. So, they ordered and replaced everything "cloth" (carpets, headliner, etc) in the cabin - removed everything from the interior, wiped everything (including the inside of all the doors) with a bleach solution in an attempt to kill the mold/mildew.- no dice...the smell was still there - BAD - and it was determined that there was no way to fix it. Here's where everything gets really good (and I do mean good - not in a sarcastic way). Without going into the long, boring details, in the end they replaced my Suburban with a brand new one - I simply had to pick out a new one (which I found online and they had transferred to their dealership) and submit the paperwork necessary to start the exchange - no arguments, no attempts to get around it, just good old-fashioned great customer service. It wasn't a fast process. It all started in November and I didn't pick up the new Suburban until last week - BUT - Ben Larue (the service manager) Jeff Amerson (the new car sales manager) and Mark Simpson (the salesman handling the new purchase) went well beyond the call of duty to make sure the whole process went as seamlessly as possible. They were easy to get on the phone, easy to talk to, kept in constant contact with me throughout the process and did it all with a friendly demeanor most wouldn't normally expect from a car dealership. I had many options when I bought my Suburban - for the amount I spent I could have purchased a wide variety of other cars or SUV's from other auto makers - having chosen to purchase a Suburban, I also had the option of going to any of a long list of Chevrolet dealerships in close proximity to my home. My experience with Day's, both during the first purchase and in the process of replacing it with a new one, has earned them a life-long customer. If you are in the market for a new car and considering Chevrolet, it's well worth the trip to visit Day's and see what they can do for you.
