Do not go to this doctor at all. Luckily, just their staff alone was insanely rude to me so I didn't have to even see him but it sounds like they are all miserable because of him. They hung up on me twice. Wouldn't schedule my appointment after my insurance said i was good to make it. They proceeded to be very rude and it's crazy to me because they're in the business of helping people. I got nasty back because I'm not taking any shit and they threatened to get me kicked off my insurance and said I couldn't see them at all. I don't want to go to them at all. Immediately changed my doctor and told my insurance to never recommend this doctor's office again. Please do not call them. It's a waste of time!!!!!. They will do the minimum and ask for cash instead of verifying eligibility. They told us that there system did not show us as eligible and asked for cash and stated this is not reimbursed. My parents switched to Alicia the PA because of his lack of concern and empathy BUT had to see him today. I go in with my mom because she gets confused and he has no respect for the fact that I'm there to help explain what the issue is. Rude to her as well! I was sooo mad that I was close to walking out but couldn't because my mom was there for an ER follow up. We will be leaving his office because Alicia let us know that she is leaving due to the fact that he is retiring in a year and taking all the patients from now on. What a joke he is. HORRIBLE staff with no empathy whatsoever. I called to have a referral updated because I tried setting up an appointment for an ultrasound and the location where I was referred to never answers and doesn't call back after leaving messages. I had a separate referral with a different provider and was referred to that same location and let them know of the situation. The other provider's staff was kind enough to call the location and realized that they in fact don't answer. He was kind enough to call my insurance and request another location for me to get my services. I am currently seeing 4 other specialist and do not have the time to be going as a walk-in like they suggested. I have a full-time job and many doctor's appointments that I have to get out of work early for. Aside from that I am currently doing a clinical trial that also requires frequent follow-ups. As much as I like the FNP there I am considering in making a change in my primary doctor. read more

Note: This doctor has moved his office to 121 N Euclid St, La Habra, CA 90631 and has not yet "claimed" his business. After you read my and all other reviews, you'll know why. All reviews with a 1 start rating of this physician describe him very accurately. Unfortunately, I did not bother to consult Yelp before making my appointment with him as I just needed a quick physical to update my health certificate with DMV as required for my license class. Unfriendly is certainly the first adjective to describe his first impression. After meeting me for the first time, his first words were asking me to move my keys, wallet, and phone from the table where he wanted to set his laptop. I said "sure" and promptly moved them to another table. His laptop, btw, took up a fraction of the desk space he actually needed. He then proceeded to tell me he was not willing to sign off on my physical because I needed it for work purposes. After explaining to him, that my employer does provide physicals and I would be able to go through them, the physical was rather close to my expiration date of my license and I wanted to get it done sooner, which his receptionist told me he could do when I scheduled the appointment. I informed him of this, and his reply was that his "staff doesn't know". I also informed him that I've had it done before with my primary physician (independent from my employer) and he kept giving me the same answer. My assumption is that he did not want to fill out the form because it is 3 or 4 pages and requires a urine analysis, vision, hearing, etc. This physician is a joke and a disgrace to health care professionals. read more

I would give him 0 stars if possible! The absolute worst physician I have ever come across in my life! He charges a copay to review results in person because he refuses to review them over the phone w/ his patients. My mother was seeing him because he was the closest doctor to her home and I've never met a more unprofessional, negligent, careless medical professional! He shows no empathy whatsoever for patients. He sent my mother to the lab with incorrect instructions which altered her results then proceeds to call us in to review results that were abnormal-of course because she wasn't fasting like she should've been. My mother saw him on a Tuesday with severe symptoms and all he did was send her to the lab. By Friday she hadn't heard back and she called to inquire since she wasn't feeling any better and all he could say was "we don't have the results yet". I know for a fact that some results are available in 3 days. Well unfortunately his lack of concern and empathy for a pt in need cost my mother a trip to the ER that weekend and a severe infection that could have been treated in a more timely manner. Yeah this place is terrible. Scheduled an appointment to renew a prescription, they called me back informing me the office will be closed that week, so we rescheduled the following week. I show up for my appointment, place is closed. I never received a call about them closing. I understand there is this whole Coronavirus thing going on right now, but based on previous reviews, I wouldn't have been happy here anyway. I didn't want to leave the house amidst this whole corona thing; these people straight wasted my time. They aren't front liners, no good credit deserved here. Everyone else stay home and be safe. The WORST dr i have even seen! DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE! Called after Er visit and needed an urgent appointment i had to wait 4 days. the office is very old out dated and smells awful not at all clean. My boyfriend had to wait over an hour for the dr to even enter the room. then he came in sat at his desk pecked at his lap top. not once did he get off his lazy butt to even look at the injury. when asked for medication for the pain he accused my boyfriend of being a pill addict are you kidding me! he is now refusing to scheduled an MRI appointment. Dr. Uribe is not a great doctor that I would recommend; however, for the past 5 months I have made appointments on Wednesday which are the days Dr. Alicia works. She is a great doctor who helped resolve my allergies issue. I went to get help from Uribe and said there was nothing he can do about it, which is why I had nonstop running noses and itchy eyes for quite a while. Once I made an appointment with Alicia, she prescribed to me 3 different medicines that thankfully solved my allergy issue. The only days I recommend to go are Wednesday. I am not to sure if she works other days elsewhere or not. read more

Dr. Uribe was my PCP for years out of his la habra office. For the first two years I was only seen by the physician assistant who was such a cool dude. After I started being attended by the actual doctor I hated it. He's such a grumpy unfriendly doctor who refuses to address more than one concern during visits because he wants u to make another appt and pay your copay again. I don't want to call him homophobic because that's a serious accusation but there were definitely homophobic characteristics and undertones. I'll spare the PHI. This doctor is rude and so insensitive. You can see the staff is miserable because this doctor is a dictator running the busyness with an iron fist. Mu first time i went to get a physical, my mother had just passed away a month and a half ago of ovarian cancer and of course im afraid to have cancer, he plainly said well if you have you have it!! WORST doctor experience ever!! I don't recommend to anyone. I've been in healthcare all my life and this is the first time a doctor yelled and stormed off in the middle of our conversation. I came to the doctor with bad stomach pains (vomiting, bloody diarrhea, nausea, etc) and he told me to see a cardiologist in two weeks then to come back. I asked him why a cardiologist instead of a GI specialist and he had nothing to say. I asked him to refer me to a GI specialist and he refused and got angry, raising his voice at me prior to walking out. I did not even get to ask him any of my questions about my symptoms. Since I work with doctors, I immediately contacted the cardiologist I work with and he said after seeing my EKG and blood work, I do not need to get a cardiologist referral, but a GI specialist. Again, Dr. Uribe refused to speak with the cardiologist and said he will review whatever he sends over and see me in two weeks. This is malpractice and is just prolonging my deterioration. If you can, avoid this doctor at all costs for he does not care for his patients or their health. He said he wanted to see if there was any improvement of my thyroid because my numbers are off. I don't have a thyroid. He is so rude as is his staff. And his staff seems equally unqualified. I went into his office today suffering from a bad cold whitch turned out to be bronchitis in top of that I suffer from Asthma. I had ran out of Combivent a rescue inhalor that I get once a month. The inhalor should have lasted for a month but due to my condition I had to use it twice as much. Doctor Uribe was fully aware that I was completely out of my inhalor... If you suffer from Asthma you know you cannot be without a rescue inhalor. I went to the pharmacy to get my meds and an inhalor. Pharmacist advised me that it was to soon for a refill. That the only way the insurance will cover it would be to change from 2 puffs to more puffs a day or change the type of inhalor. I called Dr. Uribes office making them aware of the cituation but Dr. Uribe wanted nothing to do with my phone call. I had the pharmacist call Dr. Uribe in attempt to change the prescription or the amount of puffs in order for the insurance to cover the medication. HE DENIED IT COMPLETELY... Good thing I went to the Emergency room. There I was given a breathing treatment and a prescription for an inhalor. This isn't the first time I've had a bad experience with this doctor. I was switched to this so-called "doctor" after I changed from my last doctor. Before going, I heard he has had a slew of bad reviews. However, I just went and gave him a chance and to try not to judge a book by its cover. The office was clean and the staff was very friendly. Uribe, however, was a completely different story, he didn't even touch me (therefore not examining me) and even shushed me when I was talking to him! I am autistic, and I was hurt, my mom had a big fit. I went here to try and get something for pain b/c I hadn't slept in 3 days. He was horrid, flatly refused my request for pain meds. I DON'T abuse any pain medication at all. The people who gave him 1-star reviews were right after all! After this failed appointment, my mother changed doctors hoping for the best. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR! I was in the ER all day Monday with influenza B (very painful) My Doctor passed away a year ago and I was to see him but never made it until now. I gave Diane the front my Medical card, 10 min later she told me that this is not my doctor ( His name was on my card) I said what do you mean? She repeated some date on the computer and I said what does that mean? she said you don't go here, again. At that point I could tell she just wanted me to leave. I said I have not changed anything? I got no notice in the mail that something changed. She again said some dates on the computer and said you do not have LA care you must have Medical handing me my cards and wanting me to leave. When I said I do not understand what is going on, She knew I would not leave and said" Let me ask my manager". I sat down in tears and knew she was not going to help, I called my insurance and told them what was happening. They said yes Kim, you stay right there, That is your doctor! Lauren from LA care said let me talk to them. I handed my phone to her and she handed it back, But this timed pissed off like no one business, Because I did her job. Lauren from LA care knew how sick I was just by my voice and said just stay there and be seen. I thanked her. I got on my cell phone to tell my daughter what was happening, This Diane yelled at me to get off and them came after me like she was going to hurt me. If she would have spent as much time on finding out If I was supposed to be there as she did no telling me to get off my phone, This was BAD. After another 2 hours waiting to see this ass I KNEW that they had talked and he to was treating me like shit...... Like I was a drug addicted. I said I need to talk to you about your staff? ( after telling me there was nothing he could do) we are talking a whole 5 min with him at this point. he said they were right and I was wrong. I felt like a child trying to get out what happened. The sad thing is that there are a lot of people that go to him that do not have any way of knowing that they can change Doctors. And this makes me sad.
