I cannot say enough good things about Tim! We had an unexpected plumbing emergency with water…read morecoming through our downstairs ceiling from our upstairs shower, and he was at our house in less than an hour. Tim quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what was going on, and had the repair taken care of right away. He even connected us with a water restoration company, who was able to come out the same day to address the water damage. On top of the incredible response time and service, his pricing was extremely affordable -- honestly much less than I expected for an emergency call with such a fast turnaround. Having water suddenly coming through your ceiling is incredibly stressful, and Tim made the whole situation feel manageable from the moment he arrived. Fast, knowledgeable, honest, affordable, and genuinely helpful. We will absolutely call him again for any future plumbing needs and would recommend him without hesitation!

UPDATE: Since my original three-star review here I was contacted by owner Ty "Mont" Stephenson…read more(who responds to most reviews) to make the matter "right". He even came to my house and spoke with me in person. At first I was very impressed and grateful. But that is where this story took an ironic turn for the worse... I had questioned his previous guys and him over and over about namely what safeguard should be there to prevent another faucet cartridge failure from instantly leaking and seeping into my wall and to my living room and electric wiring below yet again (as just happened with a waterfall downstairs when someone unwittingly took a shower before I called them), but my concerns were dismissed and I was deemed "paranoid". To me it seemed only logical that something so simple could cause so much damage without one, but they are the 5-star experts, so what do I know? After all, the owner himself came to my house and doubled down on what I was told by his young plumbers earlier, that there is no such thing; he even insisted that the loose spinning chrome sleeve between the handle and the wall I brought to their attention was normal and just for "aesthetic purposes". I was resigned to give up but later when another plumber came to deal with the same type of cartridge failure causing the same backward leak toward my wall in the identical downstairs tub, I was completely vindicated. Not only was its identical chrome sleeve snug firmly in place but there WAS INDEED a crucial specific Delta part-specific O-ring (see image below) where the escutcheon meets the wall, and this time because of its presence, my wall and flooring behind THAT tub was dry as a bone! Ironically, even if I hadn't had the huge downpour thru my electric chandelier from the tub above and relayed it to his guys before they came, they could instantly see without even picking up a tool that the chrome sleeve was spinning freely without that protective O-ring holding it in place. This should have been the first thing they notified me of due to the serious implications -- even if I HADN'T had the destructive flood in my living room and even if I HADN'T asked his first guys and Mont himself repeatedly if there was something that was supposed to go there due to the serious risks. But there WAS -- and I DID. When I later contacted Mont after all their denial to inform them that I had been right all along, his tone instantly changed from concern to dismissal, telling me "Oh, maybe you can buy an O-ring off Amazon" . Then all communication ceased and he failed to respond again to my follow-up messages; the jig was up. However, once I later involved the AZ ROC as a result, and they set up a date to inspect their work, Mont invoked the option to refund me instead of having it investigated, thus effectively canceling the ROC report and saving his business's reputation. Maybe they figure it is more cost effective to cover up a failure on their part as most customers will never investigate, and to refund only the occasional one who calls them out or when they face accountability with the ROC (even for the shoddiest of work the ROC looks the other way if the contractor refunds the customer to preserve their standing -- and license). It's a small price to pay for a high-price plumber if they can always cover their tracks that easily leaving no marks on their record, no matter how many reports there may have been. A few days later the spout started leaking; apparently the new cartridge was installed with one of the seals inverted. At this point it is clear that this was either an issue of calculated deception or complete ignorance of a huge hazard on their part. It is up to you the customer to decide which of those traits you find more redeeming.

We've been using Pink Plumbing & Sewer for more than six years, across two different homes, and…read morethey continue to exceed our expectations every time. What sets them apart is their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to customer education. Rather than simply fixing the issue and moving on, they always take the time to explain what they're doing, answer our questions, and provide helpful recommendations for extending the life of our plumbing systems and fixtures. Most recently, Lou and Anthony spent an entire day at our home tackling a long list of plumbing projects. Their work was thorough, efficient, and completed to a very high standard. Despite the large scope of the job, everything was finished in a timely manner, looked great, and functioned perfectly. Just as importantly, they treated our home with respect. Before leaving, they made sure everything was clean and tidy, leaving no trace of the extensive work they had completed throughout the day. It's rare to find a company that consistently delivers this level of service year after year. We highly recommend them and are grateful to have a plumbing team we can trust whenever the need arises.

He was very thorough and explained things to me multiple times as the plumbing world is very foreign to me. During this time, I also had received other quotes that were astronomically high for the same amount of work that Stephen was going to be doing for me. He sent me the quote promptly the next day and answered additional questions I had before we agreed to the contract. Stephen and his dad got the new pipe installed within just a few hours, they got everything back up and running same day. Beware! Appears that this "locally owned company" was purchased by a private equity group (Flint…read moreGroup is the platform company with General Atlantic being the private equity firm). We ultimately paid way too much for a basic 50 gallon hot water heater swap (bundled price of almost $3000). I was out of town and my wife was busy with work when this happened. We had used Bumble Bee Plumbing in the past and trusted them. That trust has been broken and will never return. My wife left a Google review. There was a response posted as "response from the owner" which left a phone number of 602-813-0298 to call so we could speak with their "manager" to address our concerns. I tried to call that number twice...it's been disconnected! Do your research, get multiple bids and verify that the company you are calling is truly LOCALLY OWNED and has not been rolled up under some private equity structure. We have all seen countless stories about how private equity could care less about the customer and how they leave a trail of destruction and debt in the end. It's largely about profits, margins and EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization). This is the valuation metric that's referenced (with a multiple applied) when they sell. In most cases, that's ultimately ALL PRIVATE EQUITY FIRMS CARE ABOUT! It's a sad yet not surprising story on the fleecing of America! All I can say about Bumble Bee Plumbing is my experience was very different this time and it appears that since my last time using them, private equity has gotten involved. I'll let you draw your own conclusions! Would love to see a customer advocacy/awareness story on one of the local news affiliates about how private equity has consolidated so many previously locally owned trade businesses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical). This might be a good starting point for that type of story.
