They had only 2 high top tables and 2 regular tables which were placed directly in the sun. They needed tables in the cover area especially since guests couldn't access the reception area for 2 hours after the end of the wedding ceremony.

I came out to see the location for a bridal vendor meet and get ideas for our daughter's upcoming wedding. We had so many different delicious dessert's, coffee, cotton candy and even a photo booth ! When you first drive down the road you come to a huge parking lot. Perfect if you are having a big wedding. The outside around the property is so pretty you can do all of your photos or even your wedding outside. Going into the building there is a long foyer where you can set up name/ table tags. I just hate the fact that we've reached a point in our society where we now equate disagreement with hate. Furthermore, look up the definition for the word "bigot." You have to plan your trip carefully since they are only open on Tuesdays and every other Saturday. The grounds are scenic. There is an open barn that looked like it had been well decorated for the fall Halloween season. The inside "shop" was an office with tiny rooms packed with Christmas decor and indoor decorations attached to a greenhouse with some warm weather plants. The contents of the shop were cute. The potpourri smelled divine, and was very well done. I think the potpourri, done in batches like "spiced cider" or "cedar woods" could be a big draw. The names of them were cute and well thought out - I like the 3 gifts of the Wise Men the best. The largest drawbacks were those of a small start-up. Sparse hours. The navigability of the shop was poor. The entrance was oddly placed, poorly marked, behind the greenhouse. It felt like we were breaking in and when we entered the shop, you have to walk through a very tight office space, making for awkwardness. The lack of a rustic herb house feeling was also a little disappointing. I was expecting a big airy barn full of bunches of lavender and stacks of wreaths on long tables. Not quite, but they are getting close. I think we caught them at the end of their season. We did get a whole flock of beautiful chickens running around. There must be large quantities of herbs somewhere, though. They sell their herbs to local fine dinning like Zely and Ritz tapas in Raleigh and others who source local herbs for their restaurants. I love that they are encouraging local foods. My friend group and I went here recently for a friend's birthday. The first thing I noticed was…read morethat parking is tight, so just be aware of that. The site itself is quite nice and very large. Apparently renovations were done recently so it has an updated feel to it. When you walk in you sign up to race at the counter area, and you also take your picture and pick a racing name. The majority of our group was guys, with the exception of three ladies. Us ladies didn't race and instead ended up getting drinks from the bar, playing a few of the arcade games, and cheering on our guy friends who raced. The bar area has a pretty good selection of drinks and food, and for it being an "amusement" type center, I'd say the quality was pretty decent! There were a solid amount of things you could do besides the racing. They had axe throwing, a rock climbing wall, arcade games, and an interactive game arena. The racing did look fun and our friends had a good time doing it. Those karts go up to around 40mph so they're no joke. I do feel like they do a good job with their safety measures. They give you solid racing helmets, and if you spin out they'll make sure to help safely get you straightened back out. They'll also enforce some set track rules to make sure you're racing safely. My two friends and I watched our other friends race from a large viewing platform near the top of the track. The only negative thing I'd say about our experience is that it's loud (I'm sensitive to high pitched squealing sounds, so I shoved some bits of napkin in my ears and that helped lol), heavily smells of gas (they do have ventilation in place but it's still very noticeable), and it's also pretty hot in there. The area with the arcade, bar, and other entertainment is separate from the racing track, which is good because you can get some relief in between races in there. Overall, it was a fun experience! We all had a good time and would go back again. This time I'd bring ear plugs lol.

This venue is a…read morefarm setting in the quiet country near Sanford NC and just a short drive off US 421, The wedding was held in the open-air Pavilion, which included plenty of ceiling fans and a nice design that is easy for a wedding planner to decorate. The reception was held in the barn building. A rustic antler chandelier caught my attention when I entered. The Barn (I hate to call it that as it makes you think of a run-down building) was spacious and clean. It had nice bathrooms for the guests and private rooms for use of the wedding party. I appreciated that the entrance and exit, plus the parking area, are well marked and lighted - a great help when leaving the facilty at night.
