Top-notch caterer in town! Hired them to cater grand opening reception of art gallery in April…read more2015. My guests STILL (now in 2018) speak fondly of the tasty, passed hors d'oeuvres and the beautiful presentation of specialty cocktails designed exclusively by Bill (owner) and executed with precision by his team. Hired B & B yet again to cater Holiday Party, December 2017, and they did a marvelous job! On-site team was timely and professional, just as before; and once again, food was yummy and drinks were plentiful and delicious. Clean-up was a breeze -- quick and thorough. Team left no trace they'd even been there at all. My 2017 party guests are asking already about a repeat Holiday Party 2018! Bill is as meticulous about his menu offerings as he is about his team's execution (timeliness, professionalism, friendliness). His breadth of industry experience traveling the country and staying on top of hospitality trends nationwide gives him the aura of a big-city caterer -- but he's right here, with hometown accessibility here in Cumberland County, NC. Completely baffled though.... Cannot understand previous reviews at all (???), as my experiences were the complete....polar....opposite! Would hire (and, indeed, I WILL hire) B & B Catering again, in a heartbeat!!!

Food Truck Rodeo Stop #1: Funky Fresh Food Truck…read more After reading the descriptions of the tacos at this food truck I was extremely excited to give it a try. An order of two tacos is $10, there were three options available: Tuna, Duck and Pork Belly. Since the rodeo was just starting and there was not a long line we were able to get a tuna and pork belly taco in our order, score! The ingredients were fresh, the tuna taco contained a mango peach salsa, honey chipotle aioli and cilantro lime slaw. Unfortunately the tacos were not as flavorful as I was hoping but I did like the funky freshness that this food truck had to offer.

The chicken and fish entrees where both seasoned well and the zucchini actually had like a hint of tea or something we couldn't put our finger on but it was great. They had a few amazing deserts also, a key lime pie and a chess pie. Both of which were homemade and rich. Next time your having a special event in NC consider Funky Fresh to cater your event.

Very friendly staff that remembers their regulars. I was served a big pice of haddock piping hot with an audible crunch. The creamy tartar sauce was the perfect compliment. Sadly the cold slaw was t as tasty or fresh. The fries definitely made up for it, though. It wouldn't be right if I left an Irish bar without drinking whiskey so I ended my meal with a shot of Jameson's. Good food at affordable prices. PS the bathroom sign made me giggle

The company provided bartenders and I provided the drinks and materials for the bar including a drink dispenser. At some point, the bartenders cut a triangle in the top of the container without permission. I contacted the company via email a couple weeks after the party, followed up again after no response.. it is now April and no one has offered to apologize, replace, or refund the item. I am very disappointed in how this issue was not handled and ultimately ignored.

They refuse do the right thing to help during this time and are just greedy instead of HELPFUL. As far as their generic response, I will add my additional comment: I shouldn't be forced to have another event just because my 1st event could not happen. Wouldn't it just be easier to do what you know is the right thing to do? And you are incorrect regarding the hospitality and travel industry as I received full refunds from my canceled flights and accomodations because they know it is the RIGHT THING TO DO. I have also requested a copy of my contract for the 5/31 event as I never signed anything for the venue change.
