I don't numb well, which usually turns a simple procedure into a bit of an ordeal. Unfortunately, many doctors dismiss my concerns, assuming it's just anxiety, but not Dr. Zawadka. She believed me right away, patiently took the time to reassure me, and found the best way to give me relief. Her empathy and professionalism made all the difference. A month later, I broke another toe (yes, I'm that person!), and of course, I went straight back to Dr. Zawadka. Once again, she was amazing--thorough, professional, and incredibly kind. She even took into account that I have Lupus, which can slow down healing, and made sure every detail was handled with care. Now, I have to be honest: the customer service at Suffolk Foot and Ankle can be hit or miss, and the billing department is...well, let's just say it's a bit of a mess. For me, dealing with a few headaches here and there is worth it to have a doctor as fantastic as Dr. Zawadka, but just know that while you'll be in excellent hands with her, you might need a little extra patience with the admin side of things.
