I was told he has great bedside manner and that the office is flexible with fitting you in. This alone enticed me to go see him. It was all true!!!! From the moment I walked in, warmly greeted by experienced receptionists and having a very short wait maybe a minute or two from when I arrived for my (same day) appointment I knew this place was a hidden gem. Now I personally hate going to doctors of any kind but my visit just felt so comfortable. He was very knowledgeable and told me, which I was unaware of, that I am covered for orthotics! Get this, the front desk, WITHOUT ME EVEN ASKING, took it upon themselves to reach out to my insurance company to find out if I am covered and thankfully I was for not one but TWO pairs (and these are expensive without coverage)... I mean you just can't get better customer service than that. He told me what was wrong and suggested ways to make my issue go away. My fiance was there as well needing care and they were able to take us in at the same time! He said his interaction and treatment on his toe was quick and minimally painful. Doctor Liu even talked to him while doing the procedure about his favorite hobby which to his surprise he was interested in it as well! My primary dr suggested LI Bone & Joint. I had a 1:00 PM appointment. If you know me I'm always early for appointments so I'm in by 12:30. I fill out all necessary forms and wait, and wait. 1:30 comes and I getting ready to leave. My time is valuable too. Just then they call me in. After an interrogation I'm off for X-rays, then a second discussing with a P.A.. now Dr. Fraccia comes in. First apologizes for the long wait. I shake it off saying it's ok but he says, and get this, " it's not ok". Can you imagine a dr caring about your time. So after a talk about my knee he pulls out a huge syringe and extracts two turkey baster size tubes of fluid out. Next a shot if cortisone. I'm done. I was told by others that I would have immediate relief so I ask. He looks at me like I have two heads saying " you're kidding right". By the weekend you should start feeling better. I'm like most people I think, I don't like going to Dr's but Dr. Fraccia is a dr I'm very comfortable with. In fact I'm looking forward to my follow up visit. At 5:15pm I inquired form the receptionist as to when I would be seen as my appt was at 4:30pm. She very nonchalantly stated , "well, you're the last appointment." I again said my appt was at 4:30pm. No answer from her. I was not given a time frame as to when I would be taken. So I explained I would be leaving and again she stated "okay" I walked out. I worked in the medical field as an RN for years. If a doctor was delayed we would let the patients know and ask if they wanted to wait or reschedule. It was the patient option. This was a very poor first impression for a new patient. So while I understand Dr. Taormino is very good I will not return. Front desk staff actions and impressions are very important.
