I went in with pneumonia. Didn't take the time to listen to my lungs or exam me at All sent me home said he'll send me medication. I was admitted to the emergency room with pneumonia that same day which he ignored. I was going to him for years , He use to be a caring doctor . read more

Dr Kamal Nayyar is The Newest addition to the Growing Practice of Dr. Pilip and New York Comprehensive Medical Care with its Primary office in Smithtown. I am a patient of the Practice since it opened .First off the Location is great, and. Most likely can see you the same Day. I went for a first time office visit with Dr. Nayyar, also a Fellow and Board Nephrologist Who attended Stony Brook Medical School. The office is a one stop shop, if your a patient of the practice the wIt time is minimal, And The Staff very helpful. Also if you live in The Bohemia area they are a great alternative to a quick care clinic. They take most Insurance. You can make and appointment by Calling, 631-656-9040. Also even easier go to Website For NYCMC. I found Dr Sayyar to be Patient centered, and a great listener. He Prescribed the perfect medications for 2 separate infections. He also is and expert at Preventative health and reminded me what tests were due for me. One Caveat, This Practice is not to waste non patients time , They do not prescribe Painkillers or any Controlled Medications. I write this as a patient who has had to wait for People Doctor Shopping. For those that do not heed this warning, supposed Back Pains... will require numerous testing, if legitimate then Physical Therapy without any Pain Killers. I have been a patient of Dr.Nayyar for a few years now. He has always made himself readily available to me, and makes sure to answer all my questions. He makes sure I understand everything about our visit and I truly appreciate that, since most doctors rush through your appointment. I had a Covid scare a few weeks ago and he got me in ASAP to get tested. I truly appreciate the kindness and concern he shows to me as his patient. I have been a patient at this practice for this several years, but began seeing Dr. Nayyar this past year after he came highly recommended. He is extremely attentive and has great availability. He has been able to work me into the schedule for more urgent matters without issue. I have a complex history that has been brushed under the rug by several outside providers in the past. The doctor was ok. But the staff in that group has no customer services skills what so ever. The Dr. would tell me one thing and the staff not only ignored me like I didn't exist, but were argumentative. I had blood work done back in July 2020 and requested my results and never received them to this date. So I dropped him.
