I had a good experience with Dr. Costabile for about a year, but one day when I was sick, I called to make an appointment with him and was told I couldn't see him because he wasn't my doctor. The receptionist said my "doctor" was a physician's assistant. I explained that I'd been seeing Dr. Costabile, but she said she couldn't schedule me with him. After several months, they offered a new young doctor and I saw him for a little over a year. Today, I called to schedule my annual physical and was told the new doctor was leaving the practice and I should call back in a month to see if they had hired someone else. The receptionist quickly gave me the names and numbers of two other practices. It seems Devon Familiy Practice doesn't want to keep their patients and is actively trying to unload some of us, so I'm looking for a new practice.

We tried contacting the office countless times to select our new Physicians Assistant, we were always in a long queue and often disconnected when they closed the office for lunch. I stopped in the office to schedule my mtg with the PA I selected only to be told we are no longer patients abs Wouks I like to be on the waitlist which would be about a year . I asked what about my BP medication, I'll run out before I find a Dr. the receptionist told me "try a minute clinic ". I spoke with the office manager who clarified the medication question, she said the receptionist gave me misinformation and I could get enough meds to last until I saw my new Dr. , the office never called in the prescription.

They said NO so they expect me to go six weeks without my Rx's. Talk about DO NO HARM! They should be ashamed!

While I don't think anyone will find cancer a "wonderful experience", the doctors and staff of Paoli Cancer Center make it as good as it could be for the seven months I was treated there. First, the doctors. Dr. Szarka, trained at Fox Chase Cancer Center, gives off a schoolteacher vibe - Not the mean teacher, but the friendly, scholarly one. You feel comfortable asking questions, and you are confident with the answers you get. Face it - You're trusting your life with your oncologist. If you don't trust them, find another. The nursing staff is also outstanding. During those seven months, I had treatment every two weeks, at the center for about six hours a pop. The nurses would hang out with you (in between rounds), and it was just nice to get your mind off things. Naturally, they were also technically outstanding, but its always nice to having people you can relate to as well. The facilities were also good. The Cancer Center had its own infusion room, with each area having its own TV, and wifi access. Hey, you're sitting there for six hours, you get bored :) While I hope you never have to visit a cancer center, if you find yourself in our survivor club, I can say that you will be hard-pressed to find one better than Paoli's.

He is an excellent and…read morethorough doctor who has based his practice in caring for the whole person, and he fulfills this promise. He has done his very best to deal with my complicated and weird health issues, including referring me to other specialists and going above and beyond to be sure that I was seen in a timely manner. Beyond this, he is personable, kind, patient and I can feel that he really cares. He's the whole package! CRNP Maria Cornacchione also has all of these wonderful qualities. Dr, Mushlin's entire office staff is also kind, efficient and welcoming. I felt well-cared for from the moment I walked into the office. I really can't recommend Dr. Mushlin highly enough!

I only need to meet with with the practice once a year now unless something needs adjusting in the therapy. Previous to this place, I used to have Chestnut Hill Family Practice as my primary. I was never happy with CHFP between the long waits and poor communication. Finally when I moved to Wayne back in the day I switch to this place, so I could have a more convenient provider. Best move I ever made! Unlike other providers, they have you get your blood work done before your yearly physical. This way your doctor has your results in hand when he conducts your physical and he can focus on any concerns the blood work may have revealed. Other places (like CHFP and where my wife currently goes) will do your blood work after your exam, and then you never hear from them. I like the way the doctor takes his time with me here. I love the short wait times too. It takes me 25 minutes to drive there from Chestnut Hill, but it's worth it. I remember waiting much longer than that, multiple times, at CHFP to receive inferior care. I highly recommend this place. Oh, another benefit with heading out there is parking is easy.

Every single time I have called, they make you feel stupid, cut you off, and question you. Ladies, you have ONE job and it's to help out the patients - not to belittle them and act like you're a know-it-all. For example, the last time I just called to schedule a sick appointment, the receptionist gave me an opening. I then followed up with a question, "oh, is there another time or doctor. I am happy going with whoever." She said, "HA. NO. Take it or leave it. This is a busy time of year." Oh. Ok. Thanks for that RUDE response. I'm livid.
