I have just made the switch to Dr. Elbert based upon a referral and could not have been more satisfied. What a professional, friendly, relatable office. It was clean and beautiful! I could not have been more impressed with the thoroughness of the initial exam and consultation, wow! From the front office staff, to Kristi the Hygenist to Dr. Elbert, I couldn't be happier with my visit. read more

My tooth chipped out of nowhere. I happened to be in the area and stopped in. By shear luck I came when their was a 20 minute window Dr. Elbert could see me. In the span of 20 minutes my X-ray was done, my mouth numbed, my tooth cleaned and filled. It was quick, painless, and his staff actually made the experience pleasurable. If you are looking for a dentist ...you've found him! read more

Dr. Elbert has been my dentist for the past few months... I have never been this happy with a dentist, if u could put 6 stars I would. I had a series of problems due to the old silver fillings damaging my teeth... we calmly talked it through, came up with a game plan that we both agreed on, and I am beyond PLEASED with the results to date. He did 3 crowns in one appointment and it was no big deal, plus the resulting work is flawless. Dr Elbert is very humble but one of the best I've seen so wanted to get the word out and sing his praises on his behalf! read more

A brief update to my original review. A couple of years on and this is still hands down the best dentist I've been to. Engaged, patient and extremely thorough, Dr. Elbert and his team look out for the best in your dental health. From the reception staff to the hygienist, everyone makes sure you're welcomed and comfortable-- and this is from someone who's had history of dentist phobia! read more

Had my scheduled cleaning with my dental hygienist Yvette and usual did an amazing job. Not only does she do a great job but she welcomes you to Dr. Elbert's office with a welcoming smile. The staff are always very pleasant and cheerful. As usual a terrific experience - Thanks everyone! read more

The staff and the dentist are friendly and efficient. The office is clean and hygienic and up to the newest standards.

Great service! Courtney was amazing and the doctor too. The facilities are clean, top of the line, and covid appropiate. They took the time to show me photos of my teeth and recommend the best options. Definitely would recommend!! read more

This was my first visit. The first impressions were good. The office was clean and they had the latest technology. Everyone was friendly and the new patient process and insurance was straight forward. The hygienist and Dr Elbert did a good job cleaning the teeth and looking for any issues with your teeth and gums. They also did a good job with education about hygiene and explaining current or potential issues to watch out for (ie grinding teeth, gum disease, etc). They definitely were selling themselves and services (ie whitening, invisaline, etc). However, I didnt think they were pushy about it. Overall, they seem like a great choice and would highly recommend Dr Elbert and his team. read more

Great service & communication with the Dr & the staff. They give you options during and after the visit. They also check with your insurance beforehand so there are no surprises. Also covid procedures are taken. read more

Daniel Elbert, DDS - Cosmetic Dentists Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

Had a teeth cleaning with Christy. Excellent and comprehensive job. Great office!

Dr. Elbert is an exceptional dentist. I am usually very sensitive to pain when it comes to going to the dentist and Dr. Elbert made my experience not only pain free but he was quick, thorough and his quality of work is unparalleled. The atmosphere of the office is always positive, the staff are friendly and there is no disconnect like with many doctors practices. You will feel very welcomed and comfortable at this office. Simply put, you will be very happy you gave his office a try. I am very thankful for finding Dr. Elbert and his staff. read more

I drive from Encino to Thousand Oaks specifically because Dr. Elbert has the qualities I'm looking for in a dentist. Competence, kindness, a top of the line office, and a supportive staff that are positive and make what can sometimes be a scary experience way less scary. Daniel is diligent in making things just perfect and painless. I would highly recommend this dentist and practice and have done that before. read more

In a few words, I absolutely cherish and appreciate Dr. Elbert, his staff and his whole practice. I've had a very complex dental case stemming from a childhood injury in which I had to visit multiple practitioners across multiple specialities. Ultimately, I felt most comfortable with Dr. Elbert, primarily because his demeanor, knowledge and confidence in his work reassured me that regardless of my complexities, I could trust my dental care in his hands. I genuinely have no complaints--- The office is clean and modern. Dr. Elbert and staff were very friendly and professional. The costs were beyond reasonable. The quality of Dr. Elbert's work exceeded my expectations, and for those concerned about pain, Dr. Elbert made sure my whole procedure was pain free (we're talking about pulling teeth, grinding, stitches etc here). I highly, highly recommend T.O. Smile Design, and will be visiting regularly. read more

My family loves Dr Elbert and his staff, they make teeth cleaning fun, I watched Netflix during my visit today! Dr Elbert is so gentle, I'd recommend him to anyone who is concerned about being in pain, you won't be with Dr Elbert. And, He is honest and only recommends necessary procedures. His office staff is friendly and helpful. And, the hygienist Rachel is awesome, she gets to know you, your teeth and where you have sensitivity. She is always really caring. read more

Dr. Elbert is great and all staff is so friendly. This is my second visit with them and I always know I am in good hands. My first visit I came because I was having random toothaches when waking up and I didn't realize I had been grinding my teeth when I sleep. Ever since I started wearing a bite guard I haven't had ANY pain! Yvette is a also great RDH, very attentive and makes you feel comfortable. I've had nothing but great experiences at Dr Elbert's office! Dr. Elbert and his staff are all always extremely polite, professional, and courteous. And of course, the dental work has been the best that I've experienced, and this includes the comfort level during the procedure, which I was completely satisfied with. I highly recommend Thousand Oaks Smile Design! * update * I wanted to add an update after going through the entire process of having a tooth removed to getting the implant, and finally the crown. The entire process at Thousand Oaks Smile Design, with Dr. Elbert, and the rest of the staff was always second to none. This also includes the referrals that this office uses, and after this process I ended up with a perfect implant and crown. I've also gone for a few cleanings have have interacted with most of the staff, and I've always been treated great, and I'm going to be a long term client here. Still highly recommended! read more

Great, friendly staff and knowledgeable Dentist. Doesn't recommend anything you don't need, and actually told me I didn't need extra work done that a previous dentist recommended. Glad I found this place! read more

Yvette is the best dental hygienist I've ever had. She noticed signs of grinding my teeth at my first ever visit and proactively recommended night guards (advice I should have heeded because the next year I developed a tooth fracture from grinding). Excellent bedside manner as well--I have no choice but to bring my toddler to my dental cleanings, and she has been phenomenal in making the experience pleasant for both mama and tot! read more

Excellent dentist!!! Especially Yvette (hygienist) she is very thorough and caring. I'm terribly afraid of going to the dentist but having Yvette clean my teeth and calm me down before seeing Dr. Elbert was what got me thru the visit. She is very sensitive to your needs and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. She is definitely an asset to this office!!! read more

I'm convinced Dr. Elbert's practice is one of the best in all of California. My husband is apart of the Rams organization. We were referred to Dr. Elbert by the Rams. This office is top notch!! Receptionists, assistants, and doctors are all friendly, warm, kind, professional, and absolutely great at what they do. I've never had to sit in the wait room and I've never left in any pain. They have TVs in each room to make your time there comfortable. 100% recommend! read more

I quit my HMO dental plan and took out independent dental insurance just so I could continue using Dr. Elbert. He and his staff are the best, and give great personal attention to their patients. Not insisting on "unnecessary" dental work like many others do. Nor do they move patients in and out like a hamster on a treadmill. Try them, you'll like them! read more

I'm normally terrified of going to the dentist, but Dr. Elbert and his staff were very kind and made me feel comfortable. He gave me two fillings that I hardly felt, and that feel good a week later. I felt safe going during COVID, and was able to get an appointment quickly as a new patient. A great dental experience, which can be hard to find. Thank you! read more

They say first impressions are everything....if that is the case we are life long patients. Behind the knowledge that the Elbert family is an outstanding example of family and community, we were excited to be patients to Dr. Elbert. It was by far the most comprehensive- 5 star dentist visit my husband and myself have experienced. Great doctor, great hygienist, great staff....I have great teeth and had a great cleaning, my husband has a "few" dental issues and reports "no wonder they get all 5 stars, Dr. Elbert explained everything (unlike any previous dentist) and then the financials were explained by a designated staff member (unlike any previous dentist)" and Dr. Elbert was amazing with our sons first dentist visit at 23 months old....Finding Nemo on Netflix on there exam room screens was a savor during my cleaning! So obviously happy...lol read more

My gums were really inflamed for a couple of months I had just gotten my insurance from my work so I decided to look up a dentist nearby. I went to Thousand Oaks Smile design because they had good reviews. Dr. Elbert is great Dentist and he told me what needed to be done. They took my insurance with no problem the front staff are awesome and very polite, I ended up doing a deep clean of all my mouth. The Dental Highgentists are amazing and great at their work. Rachel Jackson did a clean up for me today and she is very sweet and caring of her patients. They had prescribed me a strong mouth wash that stained my teeth a bit. After today's clean up with Rachel my teeth look amazing nice and clean and the stains are out. Overall 10/10 read more

My whole family switched over to Dr. Elbert's office a couple of years ago from another local dentist who shall remain nameless. We couldn't be happier. All of the staff have been wonderful. From the most current technology to the cleanliness of the office, everything is top notch. Highly recommend. read more
