Dr Thompson is great. Had some hip pain that kept me from cycling and after a little surgery and pt I feel 100% again.

Saw him once for a consult for knee pain and was not given any follow up or treatment plan.

They didn't do anything either other than a CXR. Patient First Clinton MD. said they could not drain the fluid in my elbow because they do not do that at Patient First Clinton MD. Ok but you're Urgent Care. Anyway Patient First Clinton MD. recommended OrthoVirginia specifically the Walker Lane office. I was told they're really good and could remove the fluid. Even when I made the appointment, the representative said call OrthoVirginia Walker Lane and make sure the doctor can remove the fluid. I called the office and a staffer told me the doctor can remove the fluid. When I got there to sign in I should have known this was going to be a mess when another patient came out yelling how rude one of the staffer was to her. When the doctor came in she said she doesn't do that. If she sticks a needle in there it could get infected or may return. I wanted to say well why did a staffer say you could remove the fluid? But I was dumbfounded and speechless I just listen to what she had to say. She told me the fluid will go away on its own to buy a paddle elbow sleeve. Mind you the fluid in my elbow has collected so much that it looks like a plum on the inside of my elbow. I wasted my time and money at both Patient First in Clinton MD and OrthoVirginia Walker Lane. Paying co-pays to both places for them to do nothing but take my money. It cost me $100 to buy a $12 padded elbow sleeve. I don't recommend OrthoVirginia Walker Lane.

Every therapist has been effective, some areas are taking more work. I'm writing today regarding the superb post-right shoulder replacement PT. My therapist is Libby Sudhoff, she is more physical than most, and will work at any discomfort to mitigate the pain. I've had 12 sessions with her and only a few more before she goes on to her next traveling PT assignment. I'm very grateful for the progress and reclaimed flexibility her work has done for me.

From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed into a clean, comfortable, and supportive environment with a genuinely caring team. Andy and Danny are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They truly listen--something that means so much when you're dealing with chronic pain and multiple health challenges. I've been treated for back and neck stenosis, knee issues from a torn meniscus, and ongoing pain, and they have been patient, thoughtful, and determined every step of the way. What really stands out is how much they care about your progress. They take the time to tailor exercises specifically to your needs and clearly explain how to do them at home, which has made a huge difference in my recovery. Their combination of hands-on therapy and targeted exercises has helped improve my mobility, balance, and strength--and most importantly, reduced my pain so I can finally rest better. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional. There's a strong sense that everyone is invested in helping you achieve your goals. Convenient location with easy parking is just the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful to have found them--this team has truly made a meaningful, life-changing impact on my quality of life. Highly recommend!

Dr. Ueno is a wonderful, professional and caring acupuncturist…read more I have been working with him for well over a year now on a consistent basis. I sought acupuncture as a part of my treatment since I had been diagnosed with neurological Lyme disease, similar to MS. With this disease I was battling many health issues due to the number of co-infections I contracted from the disease, leaving my immune system severely challenged. If you have Lyme disease it is extremely challenging and complicated as well as unfortunately being highly misunderstood by the medical community. Realizing that conventional medicine did not have the answers is why I turned to functional medicine and really began to heal in the last two years. In the past, before I was diagnosed and still seeking conventional medicine, I did try acupuncture for the first time and it really did help me significantly with my seizure disorder that I developed from Lyme. That was a turning point for me to seeking help elsewhere. By the way I was on three anti-seizure drugs that did not work and acupuncture was the break through to beginning to alleviate it. Western medicine is finally catching up to what we already to know to be a valid and extremely helpful practice. I would like to say that I have worked with other acupuncturist in the past who were great, but having acupuncture with Dr. Ueno was a very significant part to my continuous healing. He is certainly part of my success. He is exceptionally intuitive about what the body needs in terms of support to heighten healing. He is also very generous and kind as is his wife who works in the front. My healing has been a very long and hard process because there are many layers and it can be hard to turn the tides. I definitely feel like we broke through a great deal and couldn't be happier with my results. I no longer have seizures, and I am having more and more energy as well as reasonably pain free days. Best of all is my brain is functioning reasonably well and I have a return to most mental faculties at this point that I had lost. I could not recommend this practice more. The value is truly there and is a wonderful ally to one's overall treatment plan.

After years of pain and still (somehow) being able to compete in triathlon (and even a Full Ironman thrown in there for additional pain) and Half-Marathons, it was time to go under the knife. This surgery is not for the faint of heart. I could care less about the scarring; gaining mobility and the ability to exercise again is the focus. My first session was an indepth consult with Lish. Then right into some PT. I actually look forward to every visit. Why? -The team is so supportive, professional and talented. -Clean facility. -They remember your name - it's like Cheers without the alcohol. -They monitor your progress, cheering me on with every milestone. -They give me realisitic expectations, like telling me when i can start running again. -The most amazing PT videos that i need to do at home. Lish sends them to my email and instead of paper, i can watch the videos and it reinforces the techniques. With only 7 more sessions, I am confident I will be out racing again soon! Enormously grateful for Lish and the team that helps me out: Brinn, Charley, Malik and Save (sp?) who checks me in every time. Will spare attaching a picture of my foot right after surgery....

Though I'm only two sessions in, they seem to be knowledgeable and have been very attentive. The locale is small, but clean. The only issue (and a huge one) is the limited parking here. Sure, you can find street parking, but if you're coming here, I don't know, for PHYSICAL THERAPY, walking around is a tad problematic.
