Previously, my brother lived on his own, drove a car and went to activities like lunch at the local senior center. However, since the surgery, he has become incoherent, confused and spends his days in a wheelchair at a nursing home. The nursing home staff recommends that he be placed in long-term care. My brother was released from the hospital and admitted to a local nursing home for rehab on August 22. I called Dr. Martinelli's office to voice my concerns about my brother's condition and was placed on hold for about 20 minutes. I conveyed my concerns to his assistant who answered the phone. Dr. Martinelli did call me back a couple of times, saying he was busy and would try me another time. My brother is a wreck, thanks to this disastrous surgery and the cavalier follow-up from the doctor's office. I regret that my brother had the surgery and would not recommend Dr. Martinelli or his staff to anyone.

For background, I had three previous knee surgeries on the same knee, over many years. I never had the benefit of this level of PT expertise during previous surgery recoveries. The PT staff are exceptional. They displayed caring and professionalism at each visit. I could was walking with a walker the first day at Jackson Clinic, three days post-surgery. The walker was gone, and I was walking without a cane in short order. I rapidly progressed under their professional guidance. They frequently checked on how I felt from a pain and endurance perspective. They didn't push too hard, but you do have to push yourself. They offered daily encouragement and increased my exercises and stretching commensurate with my abilities and pain level. They were spot on when determining when to increase the level of exercise activity. The facility and equipment were clean and well maintained. I "graduated" yesterday after seventy-one PT sessions over a period of 6 months. I can easily walk 2+ miles without pain in my surgery knee. After PT rehab my surgical leg measured 10% above the average strength for my age. I have regained the majority of my range of motion, and expect additional range to be gained over the next 6 months. A special thanks to Madalyn, Emme, Brenna, Cassie, Sara, Colin, Rowhan, Tracy, Sara, Kiara, Katie, Jordan and the front desk staff. They all worked together as a team, to assure my success. They were amazing. I hope I don't have a PT need again, but if I do, I know where to go. I recommend The Jackson Clinic with no reservation.

Wasn't thrilled the solution required surgery, but I am about 10 weeks post surgery and working on getting myself back to normal. I have a pretty long recovery ahead still, but am beyond grateful for Dr. Asomugha and her team. OrthoVirginia is fantastic. Everyone on the staff has been helpful and kind, explained everything I needed and even very patiently spoke to my parents to explain to them what was going on. After about two months of visits, Dr. Asomugha recommended surgery. I am a little over two months since surgery and while I'm still not back to 'normal' life, the (minimal) exercises I am cleared to do in PT are pain free - I am so very optimistic about having a pain free future and getting back to working out again in the near future. In one of my post op appointments, my scar looked hideous and was making me nauseous and she handled my being a giant baby like a charm and told me a story of her having a similar moment, so I felt a lot better about my small freak out. When I had a (non-related to surgery, but in the area) problem, she immediately made time for me, gave me her personal phone number and genuinely showed concern for my issue, even though it didn't have anything to do with her surgery. She truly cares about her patients and their well being. I am so grateful for finding Dr. A online and her team. I have been to both the Duke St. and Walker Lane locations and the staff at both is extraordinarily friendly. Wait times are small, I am always seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time and I never feel rushed, but don't feel like the appointments drag on. I 100000% recommend Dr. A for anyone having leg/ankle/foot issues - I hope that after I am done recovering I never have to use her again, but will in a heartbeat if I ever tear something again. She is an amazing surgeon and a truly fantastic doctor.

As a result of the multiple surgeries I had to have, I can now use my entire right arm successfully. Dr. Thomas is very personable, with a great bedside manner. 5-Star Review for Full Strength Physical Therapy (formerly Solutions PT), Arlington, Va…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about Full Strength Physical Therapy and especially Andy and Danny. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed into a clean, comfortable, and supportive environment with a genuinely caring team. Andy and Danny are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They truly listen--something that means so much when you're dealing with chronic pain and multiple health challenges. I've been treated for back and neck stenosis, knee issues from a torn meniscus, and ongoing pain, and they have been patient, thoughtful, and determined every step of the way. What really stands out is how much they care about your progress. They take the time to tailor exercises specifically to your needs and clearly explain how to do them at home, which has made a huge difference in my recovery. Their combination of hands-on therapy and targeted exercises has helped improve my mobility, balance, and strength--and most importantly, reduced my pain so I can finally rest better. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional. There's a strong sense that everyone is invested in helping you achieve your goals. Convenient location with easy parking is just the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful to have found them--this team has truly made a meaningful, life-changing impact on my quality of life. Highly recommend!

I had an initial consultation with Natalie, who was fairly new to the establishment at the time. Natalie is extremely knowledgeable, motivated, and approachable when it comes to this practice. She measured my range of motion and checked my strength and saw that both were very limited. I ended up going to PT twice a week and worked with Natalie during the first half of every session, and then the second half would mostly be done with those who assist with the actual exercises. Natalie's soft tissue work is incredible- don't let her petite frame fool you! She is a boss when it comes to making your muscles cry and then feel much better during the week. She's always considerate and asks if anything is painful and if so, she's always quick to dial her strength back! I've also worked with Anthony and Kyler. Both have been such a joy to work with- they really keep the operation going and are great at demonstrating each of the exercises. They are not only knowledgeable, they are approachable, and have great senses of humor. Today was my last session after a few months of PT. I will say, as a patient, you should always be consistent with the exercises you are given. I felt like I improved immensely in a short amount of time, but I also tried to dedicate 30 minutes to an hour each day to do all the exercises I was given by Natalie. That's another thing to note- Natalie is continuously researching and learning new exercises and will have you try them. She's very dynamic in her methodology when creating an exercise plan for you, so nothing stays stagnant. While I'm so happy that I have full range of motion back, I am so sad to be leaving Solutions. I'm going to miss Natalie, and the team very much. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone who has any discomfort or pain. There are so many PTs here to choose from and each have their own flair when interacting with patients. I couldn't be happier to have had Natalie as my PT. I know that if I ever feel less than 100%, I would come back to Natalie in a heartbeat. Thank you Natalie, Kyler, Anthony, and the rest of the Solutions Team. Even those at the front desk. I believe that everyone here deserves the utmost recognition. I am genuinely appreciative of all of your help and support throughout my experience with my (former) injury!

I've seen Dr. Kittredge a handful of times spanning 10+years…read more Once I get to Dr. Kittredge, the experience has gone fairly well. I find him to be at least somewhat compassionate as well as knowledgeable. My only negative observation is that he has always been in a hurry to get in & out during my visits. After something finally gets to the point where you feel it needs medical attention and you get an appointment, having 3-5 minutes (or less) of actual doctor face time can be a letdown, depending how things turn out with the medical problem as a result of the visit. I understand medical services are high volume in Northern Virginia, but it would help to have things explained in more detail, and not at 100 mph. Then again, if everyone got 20 minutes with him, would I even be able to get in without a 6 month wait? I leave room for the possibility that this situation is simply due to supply and demand, and that he's doing his best. -- Regarding other facets of the practice....I've had a couple of isolated, and unrelated problems with technicians and support staff. May-2017 I went in with severe neck and shoulder pain, which was later revealed to be a series of herniated cervical disks. An x-ray technician at the Walker Lane location, without warning and from behind me, grabbed my head and forced it down and into the position she wanted for the x-ray. This was exceptionally painful, as minimal range of motion was one of my primary complaints that day. When I asked her not do that again, I got a very robotic "sorry", but nothing in her very detached demeanor changed. I reported this incident to Dr. Kittredge when he came in. He apologized that this happened. Jan-2018 An appointment receptionist kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain a very nuanced situation as to the potential causes of the my pain (different issue than any of my previous visits). The whole interaction was less like a friendly Q&A, and more like grilling from a district attorney. I was not able to get to about 90% of the details that are likely key to understanding what's going on with my pains before she summarily judged that since it *may* be work-related there was no guarantee they'd see me when I showed up for the appointment. I'm astounded at how quickly she escalated; with minimal information (less than 10% of what I'd hoped to tell the doctor) she started forcing the situation down some office procedural processing path, and talking over me when I tried to provide more info or ask questions. She turned even more combative when I explained to her that it's not reasonable to have someone take time away from their job to go in for an appointment only to be turned away once there, so I asked for her name. I'm not listing her name here, but if the office manager contacts me to follow up I will provide that information and file a complaint. The person I spoke with needs to listen more and talk less; especially in representing a medical practice whose clients are seeking relief - not additional stress. While these two experiences were distressing, I want to make it clear that I'm not writing this review to malign the practice. As I wrote, Dr. Kittredge is a good doctor and I trust his opinions. My recollection of past experiences with appointment scheduling, nurses collecting vitals, and the front desk collecting co-pays is that they were by and large professional and pleasant.
