Daniel Donnelly made a dresser for us that, years later, looks and functions so well. I highly recommend his company.

Stopped by this store. Products on display seemed of good quality but was disappointed with the customer service.

Absolutely a beautiful shoppe, and helpful, knowledge staff. I've made purchases when in Alexandria…read moreand continue to do so from Boston. Exceptional delivery service from VA to MA. A great selection and beautiful displayed ideas for design are made easier. I wish we had this store in MA.

My husband…read moreand I entered the store and the sales person did not even bother to look up much less greet us. As we were wandering around the store looking for leather recliners we noticed the staff person pass by us, twice, without any recognition at all. As we were leaving we had to pass her and I asked a question as to how long the store had been there as we could not remember it from the past. I truly felt like I was bothering her...She responded like the question annoyed her? or? Anyway, I'm not sure but when we left the store my husband and I both commented on how rude we felt she was! There was only the 1 employee (her) that we noticed so maybe she was having a bad day but we really do not feel the need to return to Random Harvest. There are plenty of places we can seek out a leather recliner from but it was a shame as the experience left us with a bad "taste" in our mouths for the business.

Random Harvest - I don't think my cell phone does the color well. Couch is on legs and makes it look less bulky for our DC condo.

Don't fret if they don't have a specific furniture that's not in their showroom, as they have others in their stock room. They' have a moving company on site that is a separate entity, but they are able to load it up and get it to your place at a reasonable cost. Otherwise, they can hold onto furniture up to 24 hours for you to arrange your own transport. Staff are very helpful, informative, and friendly! They have a small lot to park your vehicle. +daily shipments of new furniture +helpful staff +parking on site

I expected much more from Crate & Barrel. I bought Ankara Chairs on December 22, and after just…read morethree years, one chair developed a crack in the wood--despite being hardly used. These were living room chairs and probably sat on fewer than ten times total. This is clearly a manufacturing defect, not wear and tear. When I contacted customer service, they dismissed the issue simply because it was over two years old and offered no solution at all. For furniture at this price, a three-year lifespan is unacceptable. Between the poor durability and the lack of support, I wouldn't recommend Crate & Barrel furniture.

There was no pressure to buy anything right away, and she asked that I help them and purchase from the store if I decided to go with those pieces. I came back to do just that and was helped by another associate who was also helpful and friendly. 1 Star - Extremely Disappointing Customer Service. Never Again!…read more I visited this West Elm location with my boyfriend just a few minutes ago, and I can honestly say it was one of the most unwelcoming retail experiences I've had in quite some time. From the moment we walked in, not a single employee greeted us, acknowledged our presence, or offered assistance. We walked around the ENTIRE store looking at furniture, specifically sectional sofas, as I was genuinely interested in making a purchase. However, despite being ready and willing to spend my money, we were completely ignored. What makes this experience even more unacceptable is that there were only THREE customers in the entire store, including my boyfriend and me! The store was practically empty, so being overlooked was certainly not a matter of employees being overwhelmed with customers. There were also three employees working at the time. One was assisting the third customer, which I completely understand. However, the other two associates, both white, were standing near the cashier area and made absolutely no effort to acknowledge us. At one point, one of the female associates actually began walking in our direction, only to abruptly turn around and walk away without saying a single word. I couldn't help but wonder whether we were being judged based on our appearance, since we had just come from the gym, or whether race played a role in how we were treated. I cannot say for certain what motivated their behavior, but the complete lack of acknowledgment certainly left us feeling uncomfortable, invisible, and unwelcome. Here's the thing: You never know who is walking into your store or how much they're prepared to spend. More importantly, every customer deserves basic courtesy and respect, regardless of their appearance, race, or how they're dressed. A simple "Hello, welcome to West Elm" or "Let us know if you need anything" costs absolutely nothing. As someone who was seriously considering purchasing a sectional, I found this experience incredibly disappointing, especially from a brand that positions itself as a premium furniture retailer. With three employees and only three customers in the entire store, there was absolutely no reason for us to walk through the entire showroom without so much as a greeting. Customer service should never be selective. No one should have to dress a certain way, look a certain way, or practically beg for attention just to receive basic acknowledgment. Needless to say, I will gladly take my business and my money elsewhere. There are plenty of furniture retailers that would appreciate a customer who is ready to make a significant purchase. West Elm, you lost a potential sale today, but more importantly, you lost a customer. I have absolutely no intention of returning to this location.
