My sister brought her bridesmaid dress to them for altering…read moreat my recommendation (which I now regret), asking them to shorten the straps and hem the dress as well. For some reason instead they decided to uncross the straps so they were even longer and the dress was falling down. The dress was ready the evening before the wedding so there was no time to go back and get it fixed, my aunt had to sew the 2 straps together to make it mimic the look of a criss cross instead. When I called back the next day to get my money back since I paid $140 for this "work," they refused to refund me. I will never use this business again, they are scammers who will ruin your clothing and steal your money. Pics included of what the dress looks like originally, as well as their "work," and my aunts solution. Once again I would like to reiterate that they REFUSED to refund my money for this, so I will be filing a chargeback with my bank on Monday.

Came to NYC on a work trip a while back and of course I brought my nice clothes (you know the kind…read morethat you can only dry clean) and as clumsy as I am, at a work dinner I spilled my ramen and soy sauce on my best coat and I was really upset. I found Aida's on a whim and went in immediately in the morning as they open at 7 am. I noted the stains on my coat and they paid special attention to them. They have super fast service and got my coat done in 2 days for under $20! I was thrilled I could spend the rest of my work trip wearing my nice coat. The staff here is also so friendly and extremely knowledgeable and have been in the business for over 20 years! I also recommended this place to my friend recently during COVID and she let me know they also do delivery and pickup which is really nice especially during this pandemic where it's not really safe to go outside. I'll definetely always recommend this place to all of my friends in the NYC area for their outstanding and attentive service.
