Start to finish everything was exceptional. From the smoked salmon spread as an appetizer, to the first course of the terrifically smaltzy Matza ball soup, continuing forward with the wonderfully prepared brisket, horseradish cream, mashed potatoes,and roasted vegetables it was all so very good! So good in fact that there were no photos of the terrific angel food cake with mixed berries and cream. It was demolished without a thought of photos. In fact it was all so beautiful we ended up enjoying it a day earlier than we had planned! While this has been our only experience with this caterer so far, our experience was so delicious and stress free that I would not hesitate to try them again.

Those words don't mean that we were surprised - we knew it would be really good. However, our wildest expectations were exceeded time and time again throughout the night. The food was absolutely out of this world. Everyone is still talking about the hors d'oeuvres and the dinner was so delicious. Their staff could not have been more accommodating, more service oriented, or professional. From the uniforms, to the clear rain ponchos, to their genuine smiles, they presented the best possible brand for Churchill's and created the perfect atmosphere for our daughter's wedding. We were so grateful for the presence of the owner at our event; it was another sign that he wanted the event to be flawless, and two of their management staff, although guests at the wedding, were certainly watching and checking all aspects as well. Churchill's staff went significantly out of their way to take care of our family and friends in the wedding party- even making special trips to the event barn with drinks and appetizers during post-ceremony picture taking. It was as though they all knew how difficult and sad it was that the event could not proceed outside as planned (because of the weather) - and set out to create warmth, happiness, and joy to totally dispel the mood that the cold, dreary rain had created. We could not have been more impressed with how helpful their staff was as well. Given that we had to pivot to having the wedding in the barn instead of outside, their staff was right there saying "don't worry, we'll take care of resetting the barn for dancing and getting chairs back to the dining tent." I had been trying to arrange for some guests to help with all of that, and there it was - already taken care of. Churchill's took an incredible burden off all of us with their generous offers and execution of help, and it didn't stop there. The staff was a significant part of helping to "take down the dining area in the tent," and their staff was also there helping to dismantle the event and cocktail barns after the dancing stopped. We had expected to do all of that ourselves the morning after the wedding, and when we went to the barns and the tent and found them totally clean and all the rental items in the catering tent, we were floored. In addition to the "day of" support, I cannot say enough about the incredible support we got throughout this process (not having done a big event like this before with a caterer). The head chef provided an amazing menu for us to consider and an absolutely delicious tasting event, and the Event Operations Manager and Craig (the owner) were a fountain of support with answers to questions, and suggestions for us to consider. That's the kind of proactive service that makes a real difference in an event. There is no other caterer I would use at this point - they are at the top of a list of one now. Everyone who attended the wedding has remarked on how good everything from Churchill's was, and I have been talking to everyone I know this past two weeks, singing their praises. We knew the day would be special, and while the rain dampened our spirits and caused the décor and the plans to not be all we had hoped, the Churchill team totally made this wedding something beyond our wildest dreams. They are all really special people, and we were so grateful they were part of this important day in our family and grateful for all they did to make this day so wonderful.

I ordered two and, while my partner in crime absolutely LOVED his, I wasn't really a fan. The sandwich comes on a baguette and is filled with a slab of coconut curry marinated tofu, pickled veg (like carrots and radishes), spicy vegan mayo, and cilantro. Unfortunately, my bread was pretty burned - as such, that black toast char was the dominating flavor (and smell). It was also the dominating ingredient as the slab of tofu was much smaller than I was expecting. In the end, I tossed the bread and ate just the tofu and veggies (which, again, I wish there had been more of, and much less of the stems of cilantro). Loved the variety of spices that came from the individual components of the jalapenos, the curry, and the spread though! While I was disappointed in the sandwich I got (especially at $11 when compared to sandwiches of similar prices from other food trucks), I still think they're great. The person taking my order was super friendly, the person making the food was engaging, and their passion to use as much fresh, local ingredients as possible is impressive and appreciated. Also the presentation of their food is stunning, and proves that restaurant quality food can come out of a mobile kitchen. While they might not be my first choice, I definitely appreciate what they're creating and the flavor profiles they're exploring!

We ordered the basic buffet service and they went above and beyond, offering to bus tables in the back of the house where we had separate beverages and appetizers, and even making a 40 min round trip to get a new tap when our keg wouldn't work. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the lobster bake and land lover's grill. Everyone who attended loved it and many went back for seconds. Therefore, more than half of my decorations were not hung, we missed our toasts because her staff had no idea what was going on, the DJ was supposed the receive cues from her but in her absence played our song when we weren't even ready for our first dance... Such a bummer since it was the greatest expense of our wedding and the worst quality and service. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone.
