The cashiers are right at the front, then women's apparel is on the left, shoes behind that, children's apparel in the middle, men's apparel on the right and at the very back of the store is all the sports equipment and related apparel. There was a flash sale online and I went to the store to try the shoes on. I asked the employee that assisted me if the shoes were on sale like they were online. She radioed a manager and was told that physical stores do not honour online flash sales. I would have to purchase the shoes online for pickup and then wait several minutes for the order to filter through to the store's system. The wait was actually much shorter than I expected. After informing the cashier that I had an item to pickup she asked me to stand by the metal storage cabinet by the entrance. Another employee came to check my ID, I signed a slip and then I was good to go. Another time I had an item to return and it was quick and efficient. I was even emailed a $10 off coupon for completing a survey.

It looked better than another shoe I had in mind for a purchase. *TIP* Bring a large bag to hold your big purchases because it's $2 for a large bag at checkout. I also purchased an item online because of availability and I can't believe the shipping company they used (Purolator) never attempted delivery (I have doorbell camera to verify - even it listed as passing by my area) and just delivered to Purolator store for pick up which was 20min drive from my house outside of the area I frequent. Came here to check out the sales and though people greet you and try to help you, the whole experience took insanely long. We knew what we were looking for... size, options, everything. And when we needed help at the shoe spots, sure, people were there to greet but then they somehow punch into an electronic device to get it. COOL I thought... technology helping them. And then ... we waited... and waited... and waited... and waited. We asked them what happened... and then we waited some more. It is not an exaggeration when I say that we waited probably for 25 minutes to get the pair of shoes to even try on. I'm not sure what is going on with their system but technology is failing you. And it wasn't only us... there were at least 10 other people waiting for shoes just standing around being bored. This is not a good experience in any shape or form. As for prices, they're in line with other spots so if you do find what you need... HEAD THERE INSTEAD. I mean, they do have stock which is more than most places... probably because no one can buy anything here within a reasonable time. Ok this turned into a rant. Short story is that nice visual big place but the lousiest spot to even try to get what you want and need in any time. Waste your time elsewhere and at least you may get some minutes of your life back.

My main goal is to try on blundstones boots, the shoe area on the first floor has so many customers. I think there were only 2 staffs working that section. It took me awhile to flag someone down to get my size to try. I waited for like 20 minutes and when they came out they headed to another customer instead. They continued to walk around other side until I flagged them down. It's as if they forgot I asked them for help. They basically told me that they couldn't find the boot in stock. I checked online and they have one available (I also double checked with the cashier at the entrance) . I am fine with getting just the display model, however they can't even find the other shoe. The one that's on display now doesn't even have a price tag on it. I was frustrated, so I asked another staff member and he took his time as well. He said he couldn't find the box. I just gave up, and got something else using the vouchers. If you want to shop for shoes or boots, I don't recommend sporting life. There's not enough staff to customers. There's other places in the mall to look for shoes than here.
