What I appreciate most about PDA is that the dancers are given opportunities to grow beyond simply learning choreography. I have watched her become more confident, disciplined, independent, and responsible while continuing to develop her technique and love for dance. The instructors see potential in their dancers and encourage them to keep reaching for the next level. Whether it is preparing for performances, learning new styles, receiving corrections, or stepping into leadership opportunities, each experience has contributed to the dancer and young lady is becoming. As a parent, I also appreciate the community and the memories we have created along the way. Dance requires commitment from the entire family, and there have definitely been long days and busy seasons, but seeing my daughter light up when she performs makes every bit of it worth it. PDA has played such a special role in my daughter's childhood, and I am incredibly grateful for the instructors who have poured into her throughout her journey. I'm excited to continue watching her grow, learn, lead, and most importantly, enjoy the gift she loves so much. Thank you, Precision Dance Academy, for being part of her story.

The culture is great as well, the teams encourage and support one another and so do the parents. My daughter has been a student here since she was 2. I always like to acknowledge businesses who offer a good experience, so here it is written anew: Two of my children attended Divine Dance a few years back. The owner was very pleasant and accommodating to families. She offered flexibility if work or other circumstances required a change to the kid's dance schedule. With my wife working in Houston, I was often the one bringing them to dance at the end of our local school day. If I had a meeting or other obligation, the business would let them attend a different class that week rather than miss all together. I've never forgotten how they went above & beyond to accommodate busy families juggling to get every one where they needed to be. We were quiet pleased with the classes and pricing. They have a 5 1/2 hr. family tuition cap which makes it possible to train in multiple genres without "breaking the bank". Less costly than other studios, but still good instruction. This allowed my kids & other families with multiple children to afford training. The studio exhibited a true love of sharing the art of dance with as many students as possible. My son danced there and I always appreciated them making him feel included by assigning masculine chorography specifically for him. Being a predominately female art form, he was the only boy in his class and the teachers worked with him well. We found the instructors to be kind, nurturing, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere friendly and welcoming! There was a cohesive, supportive feeling amongst patrons. Over all, we have positive memories of our time & money well spent at Divine Dance.

Fairly decent price compared to the other Dance Schools in Pearland. Ms. Lauren, the instructor, was great. For the class to vary in age from 2 to 7 at various levels of skill, she was knowledgeable, understanding, and very kind. The owner, Mrs. Krystal was also very kind and helpful. The only reason I felt the need for 4 stars is due to my lack of knowledge about the competitors. I don't know what other Dance Schools in the area are doing, Divine is good. I can't wait for fall dance for my daughter.

I am extremely disappointed with how my son was treated yesterday by his teacher. I signed my 3…read moreyear old son up a few weeks ago and he loved the class. He's been having a hard time fitting in with the other kids because he was the only boy in the class and he has never been in a class type setting. He's a kid and gets loud when he's excited. Yesterday I watched as he and a few of the girls yelled back and forth at one another "MY TURN". While I understand she has to "correct" them she had no right to do what she did. The teacher was visibilly annoyed by him and went up to my son and grabbed him by the arm and walked him across to the other side. This made me FURIOUS. She sees me watching and completely changes her demeanor. My son was singled out every single class simply for being loud and energetic. There was a girl there that was mean to him and would tell him he couldn't be where she was so my son would get upset and yell stuff like "we're supposed to take turns" or "it's my turn"... and it never failed. Instead of asking what happened or what's wrong she (the teacher) scolded him. He's only three years old, he doesn't know how to regulate his emotions. My son loved his classes and looked forward to them every week, but I will not be taking him back after what I saw. I refuse to pay another cent just for them to treat him poorly. I emailed yesterday about this incident and I still have not heard back. Other reasons why we decided to cancel: - They are not very flexible. If kid gets sick less than 24 hours before your class they won't let you make up the class. Which sucks because kids don't get sick on a schedule and we can't know 24 hours before to be able to plan accordingly. - There is only one teacher, so she can't really focus on each kid enough for them to retain much. - Not much communication from the people working there as far as their policies and stuff like that. - place is also dealing with a roach issue. We've seen roaches in the restroom the past few visits.
