Amazing instructors who push the girls to learn and grow in dance. My daughter has danced at precision for six years both in recreational and company classes. She gained so much confidence from performing on stage and has had the opportunity to compete with solos and small groups. She loves dance and I sincerely enjoy watching all of the dancers perform. Thank you for responding to my previous review. Reviews are not just feedback to other potential customers, but a way to give businesses a glimpse into the perspective of those patronizing their establishment. Because you took the care to reply to my review in a positive manner, I feel it is fair to raise my over-all rating. During our enrollment at Precision, we definitely did notice a difference in training levels between regular classes vs. company. I even had a dance instructor watch the DVD from your year end show who pointed out how it appeared all effort and chorography energy went into company classes. HOWEVER, it sounds as though you have since strived to improve this and I applaud you if that is the case. When we left Precision it was because we felt to get the level of training desired there, my children would have to audition and be chosen for company. Don't know if they would have been accepted or not? But being a large family with multiple age children in different schools & two working parents we knew competition was not something that would fit into our lives. Again, back then our experience was that non-company classes were taught at a lower level. Other parents I spoke with felt the same. If you have indeed upped your standards for all classes, thank you for realizing that everyone attending wants to achieve their best whether or not they can devote their family life to competition. In our search for another studio, we tried a ballet conservatory in Pearland. After experiencing their program, I actually felt insulted on behalf of your studio because your training is superior to theirs but they made public comments to the contrary regarding other Pearland dance studios. I submit a quote from an interview they gave: "I realized that with our combined professional experience and connections we could offer a higher level of dance training to the Pearland area than ever before". I'd like to acknowledge that we observed a much higher level of training at Precision Dance than we experienced at the dance conservatory, even in ballet that they claim to specialize in. Precision's ability to train was never in question with our family. You are definitely qualified to develop talented dancers! I'd like to encourage you to please realize that, although we can sometimes be annoying, parents need to feel as though they are free to ask questions or express concerns without fearing their child might be penalized. At the time we were there, we did not feel that staff was approachable or willing to hear parental concerns. It is frustrating to pay for a service but feel that you are not allowed to have a voice. Please realize that as pesky as parents can be, we all want the best for our kids. Sometimes you have to humor us by listening, even though you aren't able to accommodate every request. It sounds like you've implemented some new programs that were not in place during our time at P.D.A. . Thank you for incorporating celebrations to make non-company students feel important. Kids are very emotionally sensitive & they all want to feel included. Please always operate with that in mind. My older ones are no longer in need of a local dance studio and my youngest has found a place where she is happy and thriving. All the best to you, too. Bad business policies. Our home was finished early so we had to bump up our moving date. I filled out the withdrawal form at the end of Jan. as soon as I found out. Feb 1 I was charged 140.00 automatically because I didn't give them 30 day notice. They are worse than an energy company . It's just wrong. read more

My daughter is a 6 year-old with no experience in dancing. Too novice for us to enroll in a dance class through here, but had no idea that it would be the worst one! The reasons are as summarized: Enrolled in June, 2015 for Fall Class. I paid the registration, and advised that "John" the owner, to NOT use the same card that I provided and I will be providing them a different CC to be charged as an Auto-pay each month, he concurred and even said, "We do not store Credit card information if not authorize." So I thought it was right. July 20-August 05, 2015 we did an Asian trip for summer, and never had a chance to provide this place Credit card information. August 03, 2015 I was surprised for unauthorized auto credit card payment by this merchant. We all came back to Houston the 6th of August, and my daughter still had a long jet lag, so she could not start the 1st day of class on August 07. August 10, 2015 to my surprise again, that "John" the owner, left a voicemail and it is so funny that he said my daughter was on a wait list for the hip hop class (after charging my credit card), and wanting to move her to a different class for Monday instead of a Friday (which we already arranged through paper since June 2015--- that my daughter's class should be every Friday). August 14, 2015- My daughter's 2nd day at school and still my daughter still suffered from a long jet lag although during this time was her 2nd day of School for 1st grade. This was really a hectic day for us, we went to some errands but unexpectedly we did not make it home early, we had to go back home so she could wear a snickers. I explained to that "John" the owner that we were coming off from some errands maybe they could take my daughter, but he said due to liability issue she needed to wear snickers, so I did comply, but we were 15 minutes late. August 14, 2015- when we arrived, that assigned teacher "Cleo" had a student of 5 who already completed the warm-up, but was frowning on us AS IF she could not consider my daughter because "she's late...", so I asked her nicely if she (my daughter) could just follow certain moves, my 6 year-old daughter felt the tension and the unwelcome greeting of this Cleo instructor. I was watching through the glass window, I could sense that my daughter did not feel this teacher ---because she was "biased". In the middle of the class that Cleo sent her outside because she could not follow all the moves, so she only spent 30 minutes and decided to leave. What a shame, right?! (For a 6 year-old that did not have a dance experience; she was NOT a motivator, but a "destructor"). Prior to leaving that place on August 14, this "John" was nowhere to be found from that front desk at 07:25 p.m., maybe he took a break or what, but we just decided to leave and I would just call to cancel. August 17, Monday I called but no answer. August 18, I called again, that "John" the owner said we needed to fill-out the form to cancel her enrollment. So he wanted me to go to their place physically fill-out that said form JUST to cancel. August 22, Saturday: I was thinking maybe I could physically cancel her registration, but unfortunately they were scheduled close. So, I left a voicemail, saying "Please do not charge my Credit card any longer." as my fear that my card will be auto-charge again for the month of September. August 24, I finally went physically, and cancelled my daughter's account. But, this "John" the owner was VERY APATHETIC! He did not want to pro-rate the upcoming charges of my daughter's account, considering that she only attended one day (not even completed the entire designated time.) He offered to take a month until September this class, but I said my daughter is no longer interested and she did not want to continue that class with the other Apathetic instructor. I asked him nicely again IF he could pro-rate the fee (even though we know my daughter would no longer attend) so we could pay for the penalty for the cancellation, but he refused to say okay since it was "Less than 30 days", so I decided to make this bad review, because he was too INCONSIDERATE! He knew the fact that my daughter just attended one time and not even completing it. He was not even using his brain that we were no longer interested to attend to any one of their programs, and yet he was offering something that no longer interest someone that cancelled. He denied that I left a voicemail, and even pressed the voicemail key in front of my face and said there was no voicemail. What a dumb answer, right?! OF course, he would deny it because they just did not want any cancellation from anybody if they can find a way out! Finally, I am just so happy to discontinue their service. Because I cannot deal with a guy that serves as a Front desk person who always frowns, and like a robot "what you ask is what you get." That "John" the owner is like a mechanical being, he looks too exhausted! read more
