I love that tjey expanded not only in size but also the types of dance offered. My favorites are their heels classes. Admittedly some of the beginners classes don't feel like beginners because many people already know the moves lol Every class I've attend, the instructor had great energy, broke down the moves easily, was open to questions, and made you feel confident! If you're new to the Playground here are some tips: - come early to find parking. Yes there's limited meter parking, but there are streets that let you park from 8-8pm without a permit for 2 hours - bring water you will sweat! - you can walk in with a bag of your clothes and additional shoes since they have dressing rooms - come with a friend if you're shy and so they can record you if you want - make sure your phone is charged so you can ask someone to record what you learned - remind yourself that you're here to have fun! You can get in your head when so many around you are so good and comfortable. Also, instructors usually get dancers at the end to dance with them for videos and it can feel like youre not good when they don't choose you but remember: you're there for fun

AMAZING new dance studio for little ones and adults in the heart of Weho!…read more With our current dance studio closing, we were looking for a new dance studio in West Hollywood and Dream House is it. Our kids took a hip hop class with Maya and LOVED IT! She was patient, kind, and beyond cool. She taught them some awesome and challenging dance moves that were still doable at their age. She broke everything down into steps, teaching them one move at a time that then progressed into some serious choreography. Maya's talent for teaching and engaging little ones is seriously impressive. The other nice thing is the monitor in the lobby area so you can watch the class without crowding around a small viewing window. The studio is brand new and absolutely gorgeous with seating in the lobby area as well. Devin at the front desk is lovely and so helpful. He checked us in and explained the schedule, and he also teaches jazz. We will definitely be back to try one of his classes! They offer classes for children starting at age 3 and adults, so there is literally something for everyone. They sell monthly memberships starting at one class a week that go up to 5, and they offer drop in classes as well which is always hard to find at dance studios for children. We are so happy Dream House opened in the neighborhood!

And I've been too many of them. What makes this one special is the attention to detail and the very personal customer service. The studio is extremely clean, I mean, impeccably. All of the towels smell fresh, all of the floors are freshly polished. Everything smells delightful. The sauna is top notch. It has a large infrared light bar, but it also has very strong, infrared light around the sauna otherwise, and on the ceiling of the sauna as well. and this one, you are also able to adjust it to other types of light such as blue, green, Amber, etc.You are also to control your own levels of heat. There is a television with prepaid Amazon prime channels. The Bluetooth speaker inside the sauna is loud and crisp, and of course you can control the levels and channels with the remote. The gentleman who helped me is named Ken. He gave me a nice tour of the studio upon arrival, and then showed me how to operate everything. He was extremely helpful and kind.Another nice thing is this sauna is very large. I was literally able to stretch out and recline. I think this will be my go to infrared sauna spot.

I figured the Full Body class would mostly be dancing of some sort. This class was a combination of mat work and dance cardio (with lots of jumping, so high impact). It's one of those classes that you have to come often to figure out the routine. I was the only new comer in the class and it was pretty obvious, which was okay. I didn't find it awkward. Instructor and receptionist: I didn't catch the receptionists name when I entered, but he was really friendly and made me feel welcomed, which I appreciated a lot. I had Lauren as an instructor, she was very personable and friendly. She has a great attitude, did all the moves and was able to help correct my form. The only comment I would like to add was that the music was too loud at times to hear what she was saying (or maybe that's how the class is designed...?) The studio: It's a cute, clean studio with showers in the top level. I really appreciate them having showers, because it seems like it's very difficult to find a boutique studio that offers showers, even though you pay about $30 per class. I thought the shower situation was a little awkward. There are two showers in the same small room with a washer and dryer. After class, two of us showered, but I waited until the other person showered (I didn't feel comfortable showering next to someone else with no shower curtain, only clear doors). Parking: we all know that parking in WeHo is impossible and expensive, but they recommend a lot about a block away with parking being free the first hour. I ended up paying $3 though because it took me about an hour and twenty minutes. Overall, if you like high impact work like jumping and dancing I think you would enjoy this place.
