Our kids took a hip hop class with Maya and LOVED IT! She was patient, kind, and beyond cool. She taught them some awesome and challenging dance moves that were still doable at their age. She broke everything down into steps, teaching them one move at a time that then progressed into some serious choreography. Maya's talent for teaching and engaging little ones is seriously impressive. The other nice thing is the monitor in the lobby area so you can watch the class without crowding around a small viewing window. The studio is brand new and absolutely gorgeous with seating in the lobby area as well. Devin at the front desk is lovely and so helpful. He checked us in and explained the schedule, and he also teaches jazz. We will definitely be back to try one of his classes! They offer classes for children starting at age 3 and adults, so there is literally something for everyone. They sell monthly memberships starting at one class a week that go up to 5, and they offer drop in classes as well which is always hard to find at dance studios for children. We are so happy Dream House opened in the neighborhood!

And I've been too many of them. What makes this one special is the attention to detail and the very personal customer service. The studio is extremely clean, I mean, impeccably. All of the towels smell fresh, all of the floors are freshly polished. Everything smells delightful. The sauna is top notch. It has a large infrared light bar, but it also has very strong, infrared light around the sauna otherwise, and on the ceiling of the sauna as well. and this one, you are also able to adjust it to other types of light such as blue, green, Amber, etc.You are also to control your own levels of heat. There is a television with prepaid Amazon prime channels. The Bluetooth speaker inside the sauna is loud and crisp, and of course you can control the levels and channels with the remote. The gentleman who helped me is named Ken. He gave me a nice tour of the studio upon arrival, and then showed me how to operate everything. I had Lauren as an instructor, she was very personable and friendly. She has a great attitude, did all the moves and was able to help correct my form. The only comment I would like to add was that the music was too loud at times to hear what she was saying (or maybe that's how the class is designed...?) The studio: It's a cute, clean studio with showers in the top level. I really appreciate them having showers, because it seems like it's very difficult to find a boutique studio that offers showers, even though you pay about $30 per class. I thought the shower situation was a little awkward. There are two showers in the same small room with a washer and dryer. After class, two of us showered, but I waited until the other person showered (I didn't feel comfortable showering next to someone else with no shower curtain, only clear doors). Parking: we all know that parking in WeHo is impossible and expensive, but they recommend a lot about a block away with parking being free the first hour. I ended up paying $3 though because it took me about an hour and twenty minutes. Overall, if you like high impact work like jumping and dancing I think you would enjoy this place.
