I tried other studios in the past, but ultimately felt a sense of family and belonging here. The instructors did an incredible job of challenging me while also allowing me to grow at my own pace which is not always the case at every studio. The Worthington's are truly like family to me, and I have made friendships to last a lifetime. Now as an instructor, I feel incredibly grateful to have had these experiences as I get to teach other kids during such formative years of their life. Confidence, musicality, kindness and connection are some of the attributes you can expect to gain from coming to Maralee's Dance.

I reached out to Tammy, at Maralee's, about the idea of hosting a survivor leadership event at their studio. She was quick to respond and so incredibly generous, offering not only their space but access to their tables, chairs, lights, sound system, beverages, everything we could ever want or need. Not only that, but the staff here were so helpful and supportive along the way, offering to help set up and asking nothing in return. Everyone had such a fun and memorable time dancing the day away. So thankful for Maralee's!

We were informed we could try out the classes once before deciding if we would be joining the studio. My friend was the one who brought my daughter to the first class which she got the times mixed up and my daughter and her friend ended up in the level three ballet class on Tuesday at 5:00 pm. In class my daughter was concerned about another student, and decided to ask the teacher about the other student who was sitting out at the time. The teacher in an unprofessional and snappy manner instructed my daughter to mind her own business. This is a Grown adult talking to a child, and very unprofessional. We let it slide thinking everyone has a bad day, and decided we would try again ,we ended up coming back this week for the level 2 ballet at 4. From what I was told, is the Teacher who does the level 3 class also runs the level 2 class. From what the front desk told me, was my child was disruptive in the classroom, and the teacher was having trouble keeping her on track, instead of excusing my daughter from the classroom , saying this level was not for her , the teacher proceeded to ask my child with disabilities how old she was in front of the other students and when she answered 10, the teacher asked other students to participate in raising their hand if they were also 10 , and when the class did she publicly bullied and embarrassed my daughter by telling her she should act more like them. My child and her friend exited out into the bathroom and my child cried and wanted to leave ,They left the studio shortly after. This is grown adult, talking to and teaching children, including ones with disabilities .The teacher should have professionally excused Ashley from the classroom, It is unacceptable for a teacher to behave in a unprofessional manner towards anyone let alone children. I emailed the director , and never received anything back , it's been over a week. So if you would like your children with or without disability be bullied by a teacher and humiliated , while being ignored by the director herself , this is the place for you and your child. Please do better

Especially as your child gets older. They know how to keep things fun, yet still educational, for the littles, and keep things rigorous and fun for the older kids. The instructors have high expectations for every age group and teach the kids to rise to the occasions set! Their competition teams are also great. It's our first season being a part of that and my child loves it. As a parent, my FAV aspect is their shows/recitals. They are so fun to watch as they put on an actual show. I love how it prepares them for future productions and it's enjoyable as an audience member! Oh! Also, they have adult classes!! Those have been fun to participate in and get myself moving!!! Thank you to Becky (owner) for creating such a welcoming, challenging, and fun environment for my kids and I!

Students will also be recognized as having the finest training available anywhere and parents can be proud and grateful that they are receiving a training that is not only technically excellent but also anatomically caring and correct so as to not damage their young bodies in any way. Sadly, many students are not cared for to this degree and incorrect training can ruin dreams and chances for a future career when individual bodies and range of motion are not taken into account. Congratulations June Taylor for your impeccable, beautiful school where many of your students can grow, thrive and reach for the stars eventually fulfilling their many, many hopes and dreams of a life in the ballet and dance. Classes are going to range from $35-50 per month / 5 weeks, which I think is a fairly good deal considering all of the dance instruction. Most people who I've encountered here seem very happy with the whole set up. Facilities are top notch as there is plenty of room to dance and rest along the sidelines. Though class enrollment fills up quickly, the actual onsite classes have just enough people to make sure everyone gets some bit of individual attention. The instructors here are super friendly and specialize in all sorts of different dance styles. Not everyone is born with twinkle toes, but they seem to do a great job in being patient and helping people get to where they want to be. Fear not solo visitors, they're also very good at pairing people with the right skill level. For those interested in taking their dancing to another level, this is a place to also train for competition. I've seen some photos of locals who are now professionals after taking their first dance steps here as a beginner. Whether you're a notice or a professional, this is an excellent place to learn. And if that's not enough, this is an excellent alternative to the gym for people looking to get fit.
