Life with toddlers can be hectic and lots of things happen that are unplanned. I hate worrying about being "on time" to get the most of our play time, which happens we we go to spaces with set group start times. - There was a good variety of toys and I think everyone can find something they will enjoy. My son's favorites were the fire station room, the drawing table, the scarf launcher and the super fast slide. - Of all the play spaces we've been to this year, this is the only one that had a bucket for toys that went in mouths. I felt bad using it so much but things were sanitized and placed back on the floor SO FAST that I hope the workers didn't mind too much. I would love to see you offer sensory play hours or hours where you only allow younger kids (3 and under) to play. My toddler was a little overwhelmed by some of the bigger and louder kids but he still had a great time.

Considering they are so concerned about allergies they have signs to wash hands if you've eaten dairy I was a little surprised by all the junk food. It is also very very expensive. $2 for a little bag of chips, for example. I also wish they had discounts for accompanying siblings. The staff was friendly and was cleaning the space the entire time.

Our family has hosted a few gatherings here. We rented a room that held just under 100 people. The…read morespace was clean, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We usually rent the Oak room. There's about 10-12 round tables that seat about 8 people each. They have carts available to unload your items (food, decorations, etc.) from your car and bring them to the room. The staff empties all trash and recycling. You are required to clean up your space, including sweeping the floor and wiping off all tables. Our only recurring issue is the technical equipment in the room. Each time we've held a gathering, the equipment hasn't worked properly. The microphone needs upgrading as well. It kept cutting out when people were talking into it. We were bummed we couldn't get the projector to work either. It would have been nice to have pictures of our loved ones on the screen with background music. Overall, it is a nice venue for large groups. We would recommend it to host gatherings.

He loves to make his students shine and delights in showing them off - wedding couples, quincenearas, nursing home residents, everyone. My fiance and I took a six-pack of lessons and ended up with a solid, beautiful first dance that makes us both feel confident and that I'm sure will wow our guests. We've both loved working with Daniel - he's just such an energetic, hardworking, and generous spirit. He always goes the extra mile for the people he works with. I first learned of Journey through a friend when my daughter was just a toddler. Her first…read moreencounter was watching the shows, which she absolutely loved! All the shows are top notch productions--my mother has said that they exceed her expectations for what she would expect at the 5th Avenue. The best part is that all shows are cast with students from the program. When our daughter turned 6, she begged to join the Journey Troupers. She has not missed a class or camp since in the last 5 years. A veteran family of seven shows now, we are hooked. This is the most interesting and challenging volunteer work I've participated in--I have learned and grown as much as my daughter. The staff is amazing and all the families and volunteers are pulling for one another. The classes teach students foundational and advanced skills alongside what it means to be a good citizen and team player. It is a magnificent confidence builder for any child. Because the students cast and crew all of the productions during the year, even the most stage shy kids can play a role backstage or onstage. I'm so glad we found Journey and look forward to many more years to come.

I'm happy with the improvements I've seen in his behavior after class, even if most of the lesson's impact fades away within a day or two. Thankfully, another class is right there on the horizon! Tuition is reasonable, and there are plenty of available time slots for the various programs. Attendance in any time slot is *not* mandatory, at least for the Tiny Tigers program: you're free to bring your student to any available class for their program, throughout the week, depending on your schedule and flexibility. That's a nice touch that's not always offered at other dojangs and dojos. The staff at World Class Martial Arts somehow manage to corral more than two dozen kids at the same time, hold their attention for a half hour, and even impart some lessons (both physical and mental), with a reasonable amount of success. Sure, sometimes a child (often mine! haha!) will require some individual attention to get them to follow instructions and get them back on track, but the "sabom" (instructors) here are quick to notice distracted kids and move to intercept them, often dividing the troublemakers into groups separate from the more attentive students, and giving them personalized instruction. It's a good system, and it works! Gam sa ham nida!

Teaching respect, patience and other life skills all through Taekwondo. We looked into other martial arts types in the area (jiu jitsu, mixed) but our son was not interested in them. World Class Martial Arts Taekwondo was the winner for us. Their space is pretty fixed in size, but I wish the changing area was organized better. There is always lots of congestion in this area making it hard to get into and out of uniform. Due to rain and cold we prefer to change there than to wear the uniform in the weather and in the car.
