We walked in and were not greeted (maybe they're not used to new people?) and it seemed to be run by young people (20 year olds). We had to ask them for instructions on what to do because they weren't saying anything. The dancers all seemed to know exactly what to do, so maybe everyone is used to how things go, but we didn't like that there was no lead for first-timers. Kind of seemed like no one cared to see us in, or out. So we left and never came back. There was one TV monitor where you watch each class on a square on the monitor (4-6 squares on one screen) and a small space where you have to fit in with all the other waiting parents and siblings.

(Musical Theater 1, Musical Theater 2, tap 1, tap/ballet , jazz and HipHop)He went from a boy with anxiety to this confident performer. He was in his second musical Mary Poppins this past weekend. To see him perform with the biggest smile made me cry. He was confident and was so excited about the show. The show was AMAZING!!!!!!!!It's been great watching not just my son but many of the cast members just grow in theater. Thank You Mr.Frank and Mrs.Yesenia for bringing out the best in my son. He himself thanked them after the show for teaching him the songs and the choreography. All his teachers are all wonderful , Mrs.Megan , Miss. Larissa, Miss. Jenna, Miss. Jack , thank you ALL for not giving up on my son. A special shout out to Miss. Jack. Andrew wanted to try tap. Since the class has been practicing for a few months Andrew felt discouraged since they were already learning the song that they will be performing on the summer showcase. After trying the class he didn't want to continue since he was just starting and felt lost. Miss Jack told him she sees his talent and he can do it. She told him to come back the next week and try again. He tried again and he felt that he couldn't do it. Miss.Jack told him to think about it , she believes in him, if he still don't feel comfortable he can enroll after the summer showcase and start from the beginning. She was very sweet to him. On our way home he decided he wanted to continue!!! His words " mom , Miss.Jack believes in me. I want to take her class , I can do it " He's doing amazing. She knew how much he did want to take her class and encouraged him. I can't wait to see him on stage in June for the summer showcase. I also want to give a shout out to the parent volunteers.They're very helpful, it was so nice to hear from them how Andrew has grown so much in theater. Another shout out to Kyle , the front receptionist for being helpful and answering my million questions haha. Us parents don't just cheer for our kids we cheer for all the kids. I am thankful I found Valverde. They have help mold my son in this confident , happy , positive young performer. Can't wait to see him continue growing in theater !! So this wasn't a mismatch of expectations on my end. My review wasn't really about the difficulty of the stretches themselves. It was about not being greeted, being separated from my belongings while other students kept theirs, and receiving zero pacing or accommodation as the one new person in a room of regulars ,to the point that I got injured and had to decline several exercises. That's a different issue than "wrong class level". I would've appreciated a refund as only 1/4 classes were attended due to feeling uncomfortable with environment. I won't press the issue though, you all be blessed!

However with the constant change in instructors how can they see the children's progress? My daughter imagined being one of the oldest dancers in the studio. That was her goal. "I don't like HipHop" was the the team that actually placed in competition. Versus her favorite Company dance group. The Favoritism shines in this place. You can see who the favorites are. They are the ones that constantly perform in every dance performance. Would bend over for those parents. Sadly all other dancers were just for show. I do recommend it for little kids under 10 to look cute in a Christmas or expensive costume. Anyone over 11 years... they will not advance. My daughter was not a ballet or jazz dancer. Terrible experience at this neglected gym!…read more I joined this gym on the beginning of this month (April ) and got my membership canceled by the owner 12 days later which I only used the facility 3 days to workout. I have multiple gym memberships from commercial to private gyms and this was a first. I always clean and unload the machines after each use and this day was not a different day. I was approached by the manager of the gym which is the owners brother in a disrespectful way, telling me to rerack the weights from previous machine which I clearly unload the machine, but the gym does lack on weights stations to unload to it, so I left on the side of the machine organized which he told me to put where I got them from, which was from walking around the gym grabbing from machine to machine and I told him that it doesn't make any sense when they lack on stations to drop the weights on it. Although I went back and did what he said. I pay to go there not to work there. 2 minutes later as you see the screenshot, the owner Mario texted me saying it is courtesy but them is rules which is not on the contract anyway. So they canceled my membership when I didn't even left the machines loaded or weights on the floor. Unfortunately this was a act of discrimination from the manager to me as a person as there was one other dude earlier time leaving all weights on the machines and nothing was said. I was going to cancel the membership on Friday due to this gym been neglected for long time. Machines are mostly ripped off , tapped or some broken. Machines are on top of each others or next to the walls with wires or ladders next to or impossible to load them, so many hazards. Bathrooms are dirty and trash all over the place most the time and barely anyone at the gym. Men's locker room is a mini one dirty with broken toilet and main door doesn't even fully close. What you see on IG are all filters and angles, they clearly misleading people, I joined online on their website from social media, as if I add gone see it before in person I wouldn't ever join it.

It's been a few months since the last time I was there, so I don't know if that's been resolved by now or not. Owner is a really cool guy and was very responsive to all my inquiries and messages. Main reason I'm not going here anymore is because of a one-off, petty dispute my friend had that was both initiated and escalated by a trainer working there but outside of that, it's arguably the best gym in the ie.
