This is the best place to get my daughter's dance shoes. They are amazing at finding the perfect fit. Other stores ask me what I think. Here they are knowledgeable and can help guide the decision. I'd gladly pay a little extra for the better service. read more

We went on a Tuesday evening and were very happy with the customer service we received from the gentleman who helped us. He was very polite and patient and gave encouraging advice throughout the fitting. He gave my dancer space and time to feel comfortable with her decision, and was accommodating when we were torn between two brands. We went back and forth a lot until she was satisfied and he didn't make us feel rushed at all. I told him I am not a dancer, but I watched plenty of youtube fittings, yet I needed to rely solely on his knowledge and asked him to walk me through the process. He has a very assertive energy about him, but if you feel through that first barrier, you'll find it's his passion to help our dancer prevent athletic injury. I'm really surprised by the negative reviews, so thought I'd add my 2 cents. I've been here 3 times over the past year to get pointe shoes for my daughter. I've had great customer service- the owner is helpful and knowledgeable, and the shoe prices seem normal to me. read more

The owner said what I wanted is no longer in style . He stood too close giving no room for privacy to try different shoes and didn't say anything about quality of the shoe to justify their high prices. I felt uncomfortable in that store and bought shoes online where returns are not an issue and selection is better read more

My daughter & I have been in this store twice and the same guy (assuming owner) helped us. Both times he has been condescending and won't listen to my daughter when she says the shoe is too small/large. He interrupts and assumes he's right on everything. This time, after telling him which group my daughter was with, he insisted she had a performance tonight which she simply didn't. However he insisted she did over & over - didn't feel like arguing. Poor customer service and overpriced. Bronis treated me and my daughters rudely. My daughter commented the shoe was uncomfortable. Bronis barked at her (9-year-old) that it wasn't. I asked to try a larger size, which she hesitantly obliged, and it was a better fit. Then I found that Bronis chose the most expensive shoe and asked for alternate options. When I told her I wouldn't be purchasing the shoe, she wouldn't work to size my other daughter. We left immediately and went to a nearby store where the same shoe was $10 less. read more

Customer service is definitely not a strong point for this business. It didn't feel like the saleswoman actually wanted our business as everything she asked was like part of an interrogation. Maybe if you have a lot of experience as a dancer and have bought dozens of shoes and costumes and are psychic you'd be treated a little better. I will not be returning. read more

Pretty disappointed with the service I received. I was lied to about the taps put onto my character shoes and instead of being honest and telling me they were back ordered, they put taps on my shoes that are not used for modern tap and lied to me about it. I was concerned about the shoes being too big but was told it was just the tights and then was refused a refund and not offered an exchange or store credit when I couldn't dance in them. The taps were fixed with VERY bad quality taps that were put on poorly, and in an effort to make the shoes fit, extra padding was added (without my approval) that didn't help the shoes fit at all and made them impossible for me to sell to someone else. Very disappointed and will not be recommending this store for tap shoes. read more

I bought some dance shoes, tights, leotard and tutu for my granddaughter. I was told at the time I could return anything as long as the tags were still on the items. I bought these items last week, it was a week and a day later that I went to return just the tutu. The person that originally waited on me was not there; I was told that I would not be able to return the item except for a store credit. The clerk pointed to a sign; which I confessed I never read last week. I did explain I did not want a store credit as we do not live here. The sign was pointed to again. I left with the same tutu. I was so shocked at the lack of customer service! read more

Fine for little girl tutus and basic dancewear if you don't mind overpaying a bit. Do not invest your time or money here on pointe shoes; their guidance on fitting is poor and the prices are 10 - 15% over buying online or at other dance shops in the area. Expect some surly behavior with returns and issuing store credit as well. read more
