I am absolutely heartbroken and outraged by the way I was treated by the staff and owners of KP…read moreDance during my toddler's recent recital. As a mother of a 6-week-old infant, I was told I could not bring a milk bottle into the auditorium to feed my newborn during the performance. Because I am not breastfeeding, I was forced to either miss the show I paid for or let my baby go hungry -- all because of a rigid, outdated policy that values the "rules" of an auditorium more than the basic human needs of an infant. When I tried to explain the situation, I was met with shocking disrespect. Ms. Sally and Mr. Kevin, the owners of KP Dance, told me that it wasn't their problem that my baby wasn't on a strict feeding routine (as if that's even realistic at 6 weeks old). To make matters worse, they were overheard telling another parent that people who can't manage this are simply "lazy." Let that sink in: A business that markets itself to families with children is actively shaming and excluding parents of infants -- especially those who bottle feed -- and calling them lazy for not having newborns on a rigid schedule. Mr. Romano and Frank Pignatta enforced the policy with zero empathy, zero flexibility, and zero respect for the realities of parenting. The entire ordeal made it painfully clear that KP Dance cares more about controlling their environment than supporting the families who keep their business running. No parent should ever be forced to choose between feeding their baby and watching their child perform. And no parent deserves to be treated with the level of disrespect and cruelty that I -- and others -- experienced here. I will not be returning, and I strongly caution any other families -- especially those with young children -- to reconsider supporting an establishment that sees babies' needs as a "disruption" and dismisses mothers with such callous disregard.

The teachers are patient and kind with the kids, they truly love what they do. My daughter has grown so much as a dancer this year because of the wonderful teachers. This is my daughter's second year on the competition team and the girls have grown into the best of friends, and the moms too. We were at the recital and all of the kids did a wonderful job. This was our 4th recital with KP and look forward to dancing our way into 2026 with our KP Family!

WARNING PARENTS! I…read morereally wanted to like this place for my child. Ms. Malorie is in it for the business and not about the children or your child. She gets you in the door promising you all the bells and whistles and that this will be great for your child. Malorie cares more about how many people she can squeeze into the small studio. Trying to speak to her is nearly impossible, as she will dodge you, and try to make you feel inferior, it truly is disturbing. While it may work on some people, but when challenged by someone with a brain, she will twist her words, recalculate it, and come up with another lie. Once you meet her and speak to her you will sense her true intentions and her lies. Bad Ju-ju comes off her, it is very sad. I really wish she was in it more for the greater good of dance and the children at the dance. This is only about how she can pad her bank account. Maybe she needs to buy herself a new BMW or something else. In running a business, you need to treat your customers with respect, nice greeting, return calls, solve problems (not create problems). Take a lesson on listening to your customers. In return you will have a thriving business. I am sure she will respond with some kind of BS lies about my review, that I am not real. I have read some of the other comments of other parents and they are all being honest. During our conversations, she would cut you off not allow you to speak and call you rude for being honest about her behavior. Malorie also left me a phone message not realizing that she hung up talking about another child and my child. This is her true colors and the reason why I had to write this review. I also write nice reviews about businesses that deserve it. I am an upset about her business practice. MY HONEST AND UPFRONT REVIEW IS SIMPLY WARNING OTHER PARENTS ABOUT MALORIE. DISHONESTY, NO VALUES, POOR COMMUNICATION. BE WARNED! I WILL NOT BE THE ONLY ONE.
