I've come now to a couple classes and definitely want to make it a weekly thing. The drop in price is only $19, which isn't too bad in my opinion! I've been wanting to find an adult dance class because I truly miss dancing so much and haven't really taken classes since I was in high school. It's such a fun workout and I love it. Kara is an incredible teacher! Whether you've never taken a dance class before or if you're actually a dancer or grew up dancing, it's a great class to take! I am really enjoying them and can't wait for more!!! She also always records it at the end so you can show it off (or laugh, whatever your journey is). When I expressed that to Jaime, I just got a stupid smile that said, "just keep dancing." The last recital for my daughter was a JOKE! Programs were not available for EVERY ticket sold. I understand the need to go digital however grandparents in attendance want a physical program. During each break we watched a video 4 times on another money grab on getting kids to join teams. When my daughter was 6 she signed up for ballet and was HUMILIATED by Mr. Caine as she showed up in a yellow ballet leo. Rather than speaking to the parent he embarrassed my daughter in front of all her peers. She then decided that Miss Haleigh was the teacher she wanted to stick with because she truly made her feel special and that she was part of a class. When reaching out for additional continuing dance classes I was told, "we don't offer that here unless you join teams." Luckily, we had the grace and caring from Miss Haleigh to understand my daughter's needs and will forever be GRATEFUL that our time on the way out made it not so horrible.

This spot was converted from a dance studio to a performance spot by placing chairs in a semicircle facing some chairs for the actors and a keyboard. The show was called Domestic Violence the Musical? and it's been performed at military bases and posts addressing this problem which is more common than we'd care to admit. The music was re-written for the Las Vegas premiere of the show. The small cast with both a male and female abuser performed the play spectacularly. After, there was a 15 minute Q&A and the audience had a chance to ask questions about domestic violence, where the idea came from. While not reviewing the Dance Center itself, I can say it was a very clean and modern space with hardwood floors. I am sure they are good with people other than me. Then returned in the evening for the Pirate Party. Huge, clean, well equipped, and thoroughly air conditioned space. A little jealous that I can't workout at Camp Rhino on the regular. Every station and equipment you can think is available. There is even a red light therapy sauna in the back of the gym. Would love to drop in for a workout when in town again.
