My two year old started classes months ago and we love the class and Miss Cat! Miss Cat is very motivating and patient with the little ones.

My daughter has been dancing at Dance Connection for 7 years now & we love it! It's much more than just a dance studio. The director/owner works tirelessly to provide a fun, safe, caring, & drama-free environment for her students. Every dance teacher we've had has been amazing. My kids have been attending here for almost two years. The school offers several dance disciplines, and hosts talented instructors. Moving from out of state into Las Vegas I did my research on where to enroll my 4 kids back into dance. After looking over the website and social media accounts, we decided to give it a try because it looked very similar to our former studio. Sure enough it was the dance family we were looking for. 3 yrs later we are still at the studio and love our DC fam! Great location, renovated studios, great lobby area to view a live feed of your kids on their tv screens and amazing staff A great place for your child to grow, build confidence and long lasting friendships! read more

I am extremely disappointed in this studio. I have a 3 year old. I put her in the 2-3 year old class thinking it would be fun and a great way for my daughter to meet other kids. For the first few weeks things were fine and my daughter was being a typical young 3 year old. She loves seeing herself in the mirror and her attention span was always a bit short. She didn't listen 100% of the time, but we are working on it. Tonight, instead of stating that she might be too young for her class or talking to me after, the teacher picked my child up, opened the door, put her down and as she slammed the door stated to my daughter (as I stood right in front of her) "you go tell your mom, you don't get to be in my class if you can't listen" and proceeded to slam the door. I understand she wasn't listening and I even asked my husband if I should just go get her. I called and left a voicemail and waiting to hear back from them. read more

I'm so glad to be done with this place. Completely disorganized and everything is a money grab. We used to be with CSDA before Dance Connection bought them out. Things were so much more personal and professional before. We stuck with DC for a while because my daughter enjoyed the teachers but finally had enough when we couldn't even get to see her recital. At the 2 other studios we've been to you'd get 2 tickets to the recital. At Dance Connection you get one. And because DC is big, they hold 3 separate shows. If your dancer is in more than one of those shows you still get only one ticket! Then they oversold tickets to one of my daughter's shows so we couldn't get in. Their "solution" was to ask parents at the show whose children had already danced to leave early so that other parents could get in to see their children...while charging both sets of parents for the same tickets. I'd like to say other aspects of the studio were run better but, not really. Events like Photography day and rehearsals are complete chaos. I had to contact the studio 2 separate times via email to have some questions answered and neither time did they even bother to respond. One of the times was when I got double billed for a month. They fixed the issue but didn't bother to contact me about it; I just happened to notice it on my bank statement. Having said all of that, they have some good individual teachers and their recitals - if you can get in to see your child dance - are beautiful. We just couldn't put up with the BS any longer. read more

Before we decided on dance connection we shopped many of the studios nearby and after going to D.C. My search was over and daughter is on her 5th year and has grown into a beautiful dancer. Dance classes are a lot more than dance skill, it's life skills and dance connection helps to implement a positive , loving , real experience. The owner was charging my credit card even though my daughter was no longer taking dance classes. When I asked for my money back she would only give me one month. She probably didn't even notice my daughter wasn't in class anymore.. because if she did she could have called and said hi Mrs. So and So, Your daughter hasn't been in class for "3 months". Let us know if she's withdrawing so we don't keep charging your CC. Lol. Well that didn't happen. She just kept charging my card and who knows how long she would have kept charging my card had I not noticed. I guess she wanted to see how long she could milk me for. It's a tacky place anyways. The bathrooms are always dirty and out of TP. The teachers are always calling in sick. They even forgot to some of the girls names on the program for the Recital we Paid $80 for. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

My daughter has been dancing at CSDA for several years now and we love it here! The owner, and one of her favorite teachers, Ms. Jai is amazing! We have great communication and no matter what, she is always there to answer any questions. It has been a joy to watch my daughter blossom and grow in her technique, she wouldn't want to be anywhere else but CSDA. Highly recommended studio for all levels and interest! read more

This is one of the worst managed and run studios we have dealt with in the valley. The studio is run down and in need of major repairs. The lobby is filthy. The owner is a scam artist and SO rude. She likes to charge people even after leaving the studio. We tried this studio and had bad feelings about it from the get go. After deciding to leave the studio, the owner refused to return the performance fees for the season for a performance that is never going to happen. Seems to me like this was her way to get a few more dollars out of us and then claim no refunds. Stay clear. There are reputable studios out there with more accomplished instructors! read more

My daughter has been with Center Stage going on 4 years now and she has came so far since then. Having her participate in 5+ dances, Center stage has almost became a second home to our family. All her teachers have been very caring and professional. Between them all they are helping her become a beautiful dancer. We look forward to many more years with the academy. read more

Dance Connection is like my second home. Ever since I joined the team I have improved so much. At my old studio I felt so bad about my dancing and was always embarrassed. Even though I was dancing at my old studio since the age of 4 they said I didn't have much potential. The moment I walked through the doors of Dance Connection everything changed for me. I was finally given the training I deserved and as a result of the faculty's great teaching I even was accepted onto WCDE Fuzion. One of my only regrets in life is not joining sooner. The parents and children of this dance academy were incredibly generous to the children of The Shade Tree shelter by donating over 60 beautiful costumes the shelter children could wear for Halloween! They just kept giving bag after bag of incredible costumes so that every child there would have one to wear for Halloween. This says a lot to me about the character of this group! read more

Awful experience! I have an energetic 2 year old that I'm sure was not easy to deal with but we came to Center Stage to teach her how to behave in a group setting and try to learn ballet basics. She attends other dance classes at other gyms with no problems at all and loves to go but for some reason the teachers did not like having her in their class. I didn't think they could straight up tell us she isn't right for the class since we were paying for the classes and its not like she was awful.. But that is exactly what happened. They kicked my 2 year old out just because she needed a little more direction.. They are two year olds!! I run a daycare, this is normal behavior! So unless you have a very cooperative child that will stand still and do exactly what the instructor tells them to, I do NOT recommend this place! Oh and if you decide to take your kid out of classes, good luck trying to get a hold of the secretary lady or the owner. They are never in the office and they NEVER answer their phones or email. I sent countless emails and called them multiple times trying to cancel my payments since you know, they kicked my daughter out, but never once heard from a single soul. Thankfully they finally cancelled the payments but I still never received any type of response, EVER! Oh and I'm not even going to get started on their statement billing. They billed me twice and tried to charge me late fees even though they took the money straight out of my bank exactly on time... This place is just a total disaster! BEWARE! read more

I took my 3 year old here for ballet class, and while she enjoyed the social interaction of the class, it was less then par for me. Her TAP routine for the summer recital didn't involve any tap at all. The kids stood in one spot the whole time just making hand gestures. Not to mention, the costume was $65, the recital fee was $80, and the least expensive picture package was $35 for just the group picture. And we were told a CD of the pics would be mailed to us in 4-6 weeks, here we are 12 weeks later and still no pictures! I have asked every week for the past 3 weeks and they keep telling me they were mailed out this week. read more

My daughter has been attending Center Stage Dance Academy since she first started dancing about five years ago. We love the studio and its teachers. She is on their competitive team and loves dancing. The pieces always score well in competitions. We have made many great friends during our time there. It's a home away from home.
